Thank you! I hope you all love my little chimera girl <3

The young girl watched, feeling a twinge of sadness as the skinny chimera stared at the treatment. Kits were dead, even if they weren't the exact fault of Thunderclan, and she refused to partake, it still broke her heart and these few cats who claimed loyalty to Ivyleaf, a cat hellbent on revenge against her allies, also remained quiet. None stepped forward from what she saw, not even that Adderstripe who spoke so emotionally for her. Hazel eyes glanced away as she peered back and felt her ears flatten at the cat's words.
Revenge didn't mean innocence had to suffer. The past is the past and if Ferndapple lived in the past, she would slaughter every rogue she saw. But she didn't. She believed she was better than that.
"That was the past. We, as a clan, cannot afford to live in the past and hold grudges. Especially when we're so vulnerable. Flameseeker and Cyclone could of either been mortally injured or killed the cat. Your actions led to them being attacked," She meowed softly, voice barely tickling the auditors around her. She didn't hope to disrespect, no, instead she wished to just voice her concerns, concerns for everyone. She was also exhausting herself, hunting everywhere from the deepest reaches of twoleg places, fourtrees, and everywhere within their territory. But she would never even dare ruin things like that, bonds her clan worked so hard to reconcile.
-
A lying mouth to feed. Ferndapple didn't like it, not one bit. She agreed at Asphodelpaw's words and rose her own head, ready to voice her own opinion.
"Blackstar, i can't help to agree. I understand leafbare is harsh for all, I as one who was taken in not many moons ago, but to have to house a traitor under these times, i-it's a mouth to feed that will possibly start worst issues. I-I really don't think she should stay here, not when she started so much tension," She meowed, nervous. She rarely spoke up, preferring to keep quiet. But lives were suffering from Ivyleaf's actions. Not just Riverclan but now Thunderclan was, being attacked in their own territory. The least she felt that had to be done was justice for those lives who were lost due to Ivyleaf's actions and those who lives would suffer from her.
-
She shrunk from his gaze, the shy molly rarely putting herself out there. "No sir. I was merely expressing my concerns for the clan and our allies. If you wish to keep her here, though, I will not fight your word," She meowed with a nervous bow of her head, desperate to slink back into the shadows.
The chimera bowed again to Moonwatcher, holding her tongue. She really didn't like this. Not one bit. They'd have to be sure Ivyleaf couldn't interact with other cats, corrupt them worse. She spotted the ducking of Moonwatcher and felt a twang if pity for her clanmates whom were tricked into believing it was right. With a flick of her ears, she flicked her hazel gaze back to her paws.

Death. It was common in the clans, especially during leafbare. Fern learned that quickly her first leafbare there. Now, the clan she had made her home was causing the distress of another. And it ate at the otherwise quiet chimera. She had voiced her concerns at the meeting but, alas, she was too cowardice to stand her ground under Blackstar's gaze. It wasn't that she was frightened of him as a person, no, it was the fact she was frightened of confrontation. She preferred love over fighting, being the one to rather work with their neighbors then fight them. And this. This was killing the pacifist.
So, after she had caught a few measly mice from twolegplace and bringing them back, the molly was back out, stomach snarling so loud, she feared the skinny finch infront of her would hear it. But, as she crept closer, it instead chose to flutter away, no alarm call to follow as Fern lifted her mottled head to gaze up at the finch, sadness in her eyes. Perhaps... Perhaps to fix it, she'd bring Riverclan food, offer them peace. But they would probably assume she had stole it. Who knew to do the right thing, you'd suffer for the wrong doings of others?
Dear Starclan, help us all. We really need you now, She prayed silently as she watched the bird in the tree hop around on the skinny, charred branch.
-
She was too lost in her own thoughts as hazel eyes gazed at the fluttering bird. She flicked her black ear, speaking outloud to herself. "The only way to find out would be to just do it, right? Right," She meowed, voice hollow as she stood to her paws to turn before seeing Blackmoon. Frozen, the chimera stared the other down.
"Were you one of them...?" She whispered, ears lying flat in slight distress. She didn't know who Ivyleaf had corrupted, who's mind was twisted that way to believe stealing was right, she didn't know who to trust. And that was a problem, wasn't it? You can't be a pacifist if you fight with yourself over who is a thief, can you? She shook her head before turning wide hazel eyes on the black queen infront of her.
"If you were, I'd rather you tell me than lie. I believe we can both agree that lying hasn't fixed any of the issues others thought it would," She added softly.
-
Fern shrunk from the anger displayed, the pacifist frightened. No, no! No damage. "I-I didn't mean to upset you. I-I don't know who to trust with everything. I-I'm sorry," She whispered feverishly, closing her eyes in expectation for an attack, grimacing. Then, a kind voice although strained came from her right and opening her hazel eyes, she relaxed. it was Redstripe. She was strong, she'd make sure Fern wouldn't be hurt.
Taking a nervous glance at Blackmoon, Fern replied, "Only a few mice from twoleg place. I-I had to go really deep into it, and when I caught them, i brought them back immediately," She meowed, slightly shaking from being frightened. God, she probably looked weak, cowering from her own clanmate.
-
She glanced behind her at the voice of yet another and at the soft tone, she straightened up. Bowing her head at the praise, the young cat looked up hopeful at the prospect of hunting. But, she still couldn't shake off that gnawing guilt.
"Moonwatcher, I'm having issues with not doing anything to help Riverclan from damage Ivyleaf caused... Is there anyway that perhaps we can catch a few measly mice to give to them? It might not be very much, but in times like this, we should help our neighbors, right? I-I mean, they helped us with herbs, perhaps we could help them, repayment as a way. I-if it's the fact of being able to give up rations, I can give mine up" She meowed, passion in her eyes as she spoke quietly. She was young, still relatively new to the customs of clanlife and everything in it, the politics, the battles. Things she couldn't quite wrap her head around. But, she did know it meant helping in times of need, as their neighbors did them. Maybe Fern could make a difference, save a kit or a queen or even an elder.

shoving this little lesbian here
-
Hello my lovely friends! It is me, Echo/Angel and today I have brought you a new little creature to toy with.
She is open to:
- Romance. Fern is shy, pacifist, and quite a nervous little ball of energy but im a sucker for unrequited love and chasing plots. My little lesbian is quite the nervous wreck and quite oblivious to others
- Fighting. She won't fight back and hates confrontation but she could totally be attacked! Im not against it and minor powerplay is fine so far as you don't try to like seriously wound her.
- Friendships. She could really use them.
- Enemies. For more angst.
- Loss. I will be putting up a nice lil sibling adoption thread for anyone who wants to come and cause her issues.
- Drama. Her life is already dramatic so yea
- Just pm if you think she'd fit into a plot (;
She is not open to:
- Death. I love her and she is not gonna die yet
- Horrible Maiming. I don't want her blind, broken, deaf etc atm. Can change depending on my mood but, otherwise i dont want her super scarred up.
-
that was quickFerncry sounds so cute!

Fern's eyes lit up with joy and she bowed her head in respect and agreeance. With this compromise, both clans would survive and the alliance would be made stronger. She would push herself as hard as possible, sure to feed as many as the mottled molly could. She stood proud, purring happily despite the negativity she felt radiating off the black queen behind her. She understood where she was coming from aswell, Fern having to give up many meals in favor of feeding the littles ones, only getting a few bites in awhile. But, perhaps if Starclan saw them working together, the prey would be easier to find and they'd be merciful to the starving forest clans.
She nodded at the time, rising to her own paws to be off to rest as much as she could with an empty belly until sundown, looking at Redstripe with pride in her eyes.
-
awh dont worry. Fern is pretty oblivious to most things lol
-
i love all those ideas lmao. Theyd be like polar opposites with Mint being an extrovert and Fern being so very reserved and nervous
-
Ferndapple felt so happy, her chest filled with joy at helping and she meowed. "With it being leaf bare, perhaps Snake Rocks would be good. I doubt the snakes come out during leaf bare, right?" She meowed, flicking an ear nervously. She didn't want to put anyone at risk but she knew Snakerocks was usually pretty good for no-one really hunted there for... Obvious reasons. She never saw an adder herself, no. She came from the mountains, and it was quite cold so adders weren't a problem. But hawks were. And nothing could be scarier than being picked up like a kit by a giant bird.
She shook off her thoughts, blinking like she had became distracted. Yeah. Snakerocks would be good to look through.

"But that doesn't mean to steal. Those before us got through worse things than this, as horrible as it is, and survived enough to put us back into our camp and thrive up until now with little to no stealing. Why are we any different? Why is Riverclan any different aswell? Because theyre known to be plump and overfed? Well, from how this tom sounds and the fact kits and queens in both of our clans are dying, i do believe they are in fact not as well fed in that clan as we assume," Ferndapple meowed softly, been silent as she observed the exchanges, "And now, because of our hunger and selfishness, we are fighting amongst ourselves. We are divided in a season we should be closer than ever, all of us. We're all hungry. The river is mostly frozen, prey are in their burrows, and birds are out of the forest mostly until newleaf, so why are we stealing from clans who are struggling like we are, who are suffering losses just like us." The otherwise quiet molly was very passionate about this, voice strong as she stared at each of the cats in the group with calm, leveled eyes.
