Of course, Heatherkit was hiding behind her mother, not much liking the idea of having to meet someone new, regardless of who he was. But, knowing that it would make Moonwatcher proud and that this was someone very important, the blue point shuffled softly out from behind her. The tiny kitten was the runt of the litter and was almost half the size of her brothers. Craning her neck to look up at Blackstar, she tapped her small paw on the ground to calm herself.

"Hi mister," she peeped, voice hushed and shaky with fear. "I'm Heatherkit." Those were all the words she could muster before she lowered her head, leaning into her mother's fur for comfort. Were they leaving the nursery? Did they have to? Of course, she would prefer to stay with her family and join them outside rather than stay inside all alone, but why couldn't they just all go back to sleep?

Being outside of the nursery freaked Heatherkit out. She didn't wanted to be bombarded by any strangers or forced to introduce herself. Luckily, it seemed her family were the only ones around so she felt a little more comfortable. The tiny kitten was sitting near her mother, casually watching her brothers, when she saw her father appear.

"Daddy!" she chirped, running over to the tom. She loved everyone in her family, especially her mother - but she held an undeniable bond with Asphodelpaw. Jumping around him in excitement, she reached up with her paws to try to bat at his nose.
