A sandstorm was whirling around in the desert. High above the ground was a brown figure flying through the storm peacefully, and mostly unseen. Those who have the Sight, would see two spirits riding on the dragon's back. Purple gems glistened through the storm. Those gems were the beast's eyes.
As for the spirits, they are condemned souls due for the devil's wrath. However, the beast they are riding upon made a deal with them as they begged for their lives. They were to serve her until she dies, they will be bound to earth and avoid the God of death for many many years. Want to know the reason Satan owns their souls? Well, they murdered and ate the newborn babies of the beast they made a deal with. They were alive for 9 hours before being killed and eaten.
Why would the dragon spare the souls of those who killed her first ever children? Well her father always told her she was weak and didn't have the heart or control to command spirits like he. Oh how he was wrong. Named after him. The God of death's daughter is Anubis Egy. Guess what! Egy is short for Egypt. The hawk spirit in the living world was Katuka. Now he is only known as Watcher. The coyote was Nuna but now he is Guardian. Watcher scouts above and around the area to make sure it is safe for Anubis. Watcher also spys on her enemies and animals she is unsure of. As for Guardian, he is to protect Anubis. Guardian has the ability to possess his mummified body and protect Anubis at ALL costs. If his body was sliced in half, he would still be able to stand and protect his master.
Anubis was searching for a warrior. A spirit on the verge of leaving this Earth. To serve her as an assassin. That and a doctor to heal her wounds. Her job is to help spirits pass on, OR to keep them bound to this world to serve a better purpose.
She was a priestest of sorts.

"Someone has entered the storm."
Anubis flicked her ears at the sound of Watcher's horrid voice. It was like a baby crying in pain to her. Absolutely dispiseable. Flying lower, the beast saw a white form sticking out from the sandy winds. "Hmm." With a whip of her tail, the storm began to disapate. She landed with a thud, and sand exploaded around her. She was maybe eight feet away from the small creature. Anubis was a young dragon. Merely at the age of 203, in the eyes of the Gods she was still a child. In the eyes of the mortals she was ancient. She still had some growing to do as she was only 6'3 and only 700 pounds. How is she so light? She has bones like birds. Thin and hallow. She is also very skinny for her age. She should be a thousand pounds already.
Her purple eyes open and a body fell from her back. It was a mummified body of a long limbed coyote. Guardian hovered over the body of his, just waiting to possess it and leap in between the two living creatures. It was bit needed. Anubis could handle herself against a small mortal.

Anubis -- Priestest
Female -- Anubis is a well informed female with a passive agressive approach on life. She does not take no for an answer from anyone, but she won't get her own paws dirty. That duty is on her enslaved spirits Watcher, Guardian, Warrior, and Healer. They are the ones that go out and do what needs to be done while Anubis is sitting comfy eating blood pudding. Now if she is bored she will go out and get her claws a little stained if you know what I mean! As roles such as ambassador, she is very president and digs up all the facts before she purposes anything worthwhile.

Always Dead
Since Anubis arrives, whenever Watcher tells her if a starnger approaching the Ruins, a sandstorm circles the camp of the Ruins. Today was a quiet day so no need to generate the wind to pick up the sand. Anubis was laying on a large rock warming her fawn pelted body. Her jewelery was glistening in the sun.
"Someone is approaching."
Anubis looked at the mummified body beside her with her vibrant purple eyes, then to the feline approaching her

Okay oof I couldn't wait! I kind of want to get some art of her spirits. I want to kind of like showcase them? Especially Guardian as he possesses his mummified coyote corpse! An example is in the character art but IF you do do this, could you make the fur look more like a coyote? I couldn't find a good coyote picture to ref off of
So maybe two separate images, one of Watcher and one of Guardian? But like three different positions in the image? For Guardian just two in one of his forms and one in the other.
Guardian is agressive and will attack until Anubis says stop.
Watcher is a spy and a look out and is quiet.
(But they are evil spirits o.o)
Only reason I requested now is because umm you're awesome and like I don't know when someone will post another form Soo...

the beast saw she was frightful, and that pleased her. It showed they were human. That they have humanity. Watcher circled the white creature from the sky while Guardian hovered over his body. Waiting for a signal. Anubis didn't give it. She layed down and curled her body up like a snake. Cocking her head, her adornments glistened in the desert heat. "Anubis Egy. Do you reside here?"

Questions? Oh Anubis was so amused. She whiped her long tail and Guardian moved away from his corpse and Watcher moved away from Lois.
Anubis uncoiled herself so she could stretch before coiling once more. She was getting comfortable in the sand. "The truth? I'm looking for a creature on death row. Perferably a condemned soul, to add to my ranks. Someone who is a master at healing and someone who specializes in killing people." She said in her Egyptian accent.
"If so happens I stumble upon someone who does not meet my criteria, it is my duty to help that soul pass on." The large furry and scaled dragon gave her tongue a flick, trying to familiarize herself with this tiger.

The tigress had found her in the desert, searching across the lands to add to her spiritual army. Small it is, with only Watcher and Guardian, Anubis plans on making it grow. Now, Anubis can return the dead to their bodies and no matter what they will be alive! But... Their body is still nothing but a rotting corpse. So, to keep the bodies in tact, she makes fabric out of her shedded fur to make wraps to keep the rotted bodies in one piece. The wraps are strong and can withstand most things besides white fire. The fire of hell. Alas, Anubis cannot generate hellfire like her father. She was gifted with the wind like that of her mother. Perhaps if Anu has children, one of them would be lucky enough to have that godly flame...
Anubis was laying on a slab of sandstone when Achelois called for a gathering of souls, well, mortals. Her chocolate ears perked, listening to the small tiger. Sparring? Well that sounded pointless to her really. Guardian does almost all of her fighting. His soul is like a tank but his body frail. Now it has gotten to the point his body is wrapped in Anubis' fur. Durable and less likely to be chopped in half. The wraps are hard to cut unless you hit the same spot over and over again then it will start to rip. It's not indestructible no, it's just... She is a dragon and her scales are her fur. Soft when you feel one way, and spikey when you feel the other. So it's not even really fur if we get technical.
Anu yawned and looked at the restless souls that are hers. Watcher and Guardian were just floating beside Anu.
"Is this sparring really nessesary?"
