What if a strange young cat, around apprentice aged or maybe the age of a young warrior, comes to the clan claiming to be a descendent or relative of the leader of the clan and pleads to join as they are running away from a rogue group, then after a while of training and being apart of the clan he/she demands a battle between himself/herself and the leader for the rule of the clan.

Duskberry slowly opened her eyes and glanced out of the entrance of the warriors den, she lifted her head and let out a small yawn as she stood up from her nest and made her way out of the den. As she padded out of the den she had come to a stop near the entrance and stretched her front legs in the morning sun. She looked around the snowy camp of the clan and noticed that Blackarch had already awoken as had Nectarcloud, She gave Blackarch a good morning nod before padding over and sitting next to the other tom "Morning Nectarcloud. This cold seems harsher this morning than it has been lately." she meowed, in a half joking half bored tone.
Leopardpaw lay in her nest and watched a few of the warriors gather and share tongues with each that morning, although she wanted to continue her training for the day she hated the snow and how it bout froze her toes. She sat up in her nest and gave a long sigh before padding out of the den to look for her mentor. The dusty brown marbled tabby looked down at the snow that covered the ground of camp and kicked up a bit it detest.

Duskberry gave a small nod in agreement to Nectarcloud's last comment "Yeah. I guess we are pretty lucky." She meowed as her gaze moved over to Morninglight. Her gaze faltered on the she cat for a moment longer before looking over to the apprentices who were awake, Leopardpaw and her thick furred sister Lynxpaw along with the young tom Wolfpaw, she wondered what it's like being a priest's apprentice but she was more than happy with being a fighter for the clan. Duskberry glanced over at Nectarcloud "Maybe if Morninglight doesnt have anything patrols organized yet I think I'm going to ask to be put onto a hunting patrol. You know, to get a head of the prey." She meowed.
Leopardpaw's ears twitched as she listened to her clan members conversations, but not necessarily paying attention. She noticed her sister speaking with the priest apprentice Wolfpaw and grinned, although she was a bit shorter she was still the oldest and did occasionally enjoy making sure she was doing enough to take care of herself. The dusty brown marbled tabby padded over to Lynxpaw and Wolfpaw and sat down "Hey Lynxpaw, Wolfpaw." She meowed warmly to the two other apprentices.
-
Leopardpaw stood from where she was sitting and stretched her front legs, claws unsheathing and kneading the fresh snow. She looked over at Lynxpaw with a wide smile "Hey, since your actually up early maybe Morninglight will send us on a patrol together! It's been a while since we've gone on a patrol together, hasn't it?" She meowed hopefully to Lynxpaw. As much as she did enjoy spending time with her sister but her main goal would be to see how good of a hunter she was. She knew her parents like seeing herself and her siblings progress in their training.
Duskberry thought for a moment before looking over at Morninglight, she then looked over at Nectarcloud "It seems like she is preoccupied at the moment with Blackarch. Maybe I ought to wait for her to finish." She meowed to the tom. The fighter she cat may be fairly confident but she has never been comfortable with interrupting the leader when they were in the process of.speaking with other clan mates. Her light ginger tail flicking back and forth, dusting up some light snow as she waited for the leader to finish her conversation.

Name: Larchstorm
Age: 24 moons
Gender: She cat
Rank: Warrior
Personality: Larchstorm is a fierce young warrior who do anything for the clan and isn't hesitant to show her loyalty to the new leader of the clan and feels like he will make the best decisions for the clan. She may have a sharp tongue when given a reason to be angry or when faced with stupid questions but she has a big heart and it's not hard to see by the way she interacts with the youngest apprentices and kits. Larchstorm tends to help whenever she sees a situation that could use an extra paw.
History: Larchstorm was born and raised in the clan with her two brothers named Redfoot and Lionleap to two hunters by the names of Kestrelflight and Sunpelt. As she was growing up in the nursery all her parents would talk about was how she, and her brothers, would become a hunter for the clan and help provide food for the clan. Now all that might please a kit, seeing their parents excited about her future to help the clan but all Larchkit(at the time) could think about and feel is that she wanted to be a warrior rather than a hunter but she had never said anything about it to her family out of fear of them being disappointed. By the time she had been made an apprentice she had worked up the nerve to ask the leader if she could train to be a warrior, it shocked her parents and brothers at the time, her mother was accepting but her father was disappointed and couldn't hardly speak to her during her training as he felt that Larchpaw had tossed the dream he had for her to the wind and was doing this in revolt to them trying to plan her life. From the moment she had started her warriors training it became obvious that Larchpaw was far more suited to become a warrior rather than a hunter and even though her mother could see it her father didn't want to accept it and her brothers, Lionpaw at least anyways, had taken their father's side. While she was training her brothers did occasionally speak to her she could tell that they felt a bit of resentment towards her for speaking out against the family, as they were both hunters as well, Lionpaw was more cold to her than Redpaw but Larchpaw stood steady in the face of her family's resentment. She ended up growing a sharp tongue and when spoken to in a condescending tone by her denmates, family, or any cat in general she would shoot back with a smart aleck comment and would occasionally make a joke about it. Throughout the rest of her training she tended to keep a ways away from her family unless she was made to go on a patrol with them to lend a helping hand. As time moved forward and Larchpaw had gotten older and it was getting closer for her to become a full warrior she and Redpaw had started to get closer again once in a while Redpaw would give her a few hunting lessons just so she would be able to survive on her own and vice versa Larchpaw had taught him some battle moves to make sure he could protect himself until a warrior could arrive. It took time but now as time wore on she finally was made a warrior after what felt like a life time she feels like she and her siblings have a bit of a relationship now, it may not be much or as close as other siblings are but it's still something to be fairly happy about.
Crush: Open
Related Family: Sunpelt(father - hunter - adoptable) Kestrelflight(mother - hunter - adoptable) Lionleap(brother - hunter - adoptable) Redfoot(brother - hunter - adoptable)

Leopardpaw frowned at Lynxpaw "I don't appreciate that little attitude of yours Lynxpaw, and if I were you I would lose it. Quickly." she meowed in a confident and irritated tone before watching her sister when she had noticed that Blackarch was going to take his apprentice Flutterpaw out on a hunting patrol. Her frown held it's place and she rolled her eyes as Lynxpaw seemed to be more eager to go on a patrol with Flutterpaw than her own sister, but she guessed that was slightly fair as she had distanced herself from Lynxpaw and the rest of her siblings for quite some time up until recent days. Leopardpaw thought that something was going on between her longer furred sister and the other fluffy apprentice but she could never be sure, but seeing that Lynxpaw was acting odder than usual she shook her head before she stood up and took a few steps forward towards her sister "Lynxpaw, if you would like I'm sure I could find another or my own mentor to take me hunting... if you would rather that I mean." She meowed to her sister. Even though she did occasionally want to keep an eye on the ever so slightly younger she cat the dusty brown apprentice knew that her sister could handle herself, even if something had been bothering her Leopardpaw never liked to pry open the answer, rather wanting her family to come to her freely.

OOC: does larchstorm have an apprentice?
Larchstorm had made her way out of the warriors den and looked around the rest of the camp, wondering just what the day might bring to her. She sat down near the entrance of the warriors den and just watched the rest of the clan go about their business for the day. The pale golden tabby noticed that the apprentices were preparing for the day, she couldn't help but to grin when she heard the younger she cat even asking if she was apart of any of the patrols for the day.

Leopardpaw's ears twitched at Lynxpaw's last comment, she grinned and let out a sigh "I may be small, but in your hurry to grow I'm fairly sure your brain didn't form properly. Plus the bigger the size the more to dislike about the cat." she meowed in an arrogant and humorous tone. She strutted forward, tail swaying in the air making her way towards Morninglight "Excuse me? Morninglight, I was wondering if there were any patrols I was needed on?" she meowed in a warm and confident tone to the leader of the clan. She usually never let her sister get to her as she figured she was just jealous of how confident Leopardpaw was and how well her training had been going as of lately.

Smokepaw lifted her head from her nest in the apprentices den and frowned over at Bumblepaw as his snoring had woken her up few times throughout the night. She glanced outside of the den at the morning light that had peaked into the den, she let out a large yawn and drew a paw over her face. She stood up and stretched her legs slowly before looking back over at the snoring Bumblepaw, as she started to make her way out of the den Smokepaw looked back and stepped on the black and white tom's tail in retaliation for being woken up by his loudness "That was for waking me up, you little mousebrain." she meowed humorously. She then made her way out of the entrance of the den and looked around the clan's camp to see who all was up already that morning.
