・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Hearing her own name called out by Alkesei momentarily made her heart freeze as her muscles tensed. She assumed the worst right off the bat, her mind immediately drawing to the conclusion of exile, execution or worse (was there anything worse?) she’d gulp before facing the dragon, head lowered in shame and respect as she slowly made her way over to him.

Was it possible he knew what’d she’d been up to, or perhaps it was about something different. Did he figure that she was too dangerous to keep around. She didn’t want to leave her family and friends because she was dangerous; she wouldn’t. She’d stop just below him, much taller than she’d once been when he’d first knitted her scarf. Yet she still felt impossibly small. "I’m here sir. Is there something you needed?" her voice was clear despite the distinct wobble.

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - The beach was a place she avoided, it was her natural enemy. Or much rather water was, the sloshing of the waves or the cawing of birds overhead brought her no peace. No matter how many claimed this place was soothing and capable of cleansing the soul all it did for Candela was make her nervous. All it took was one wave, one torrent and she would be hoisted out to sea. A place not even her flames could protect her in. as a pretty as it was the ocean would be her death, she was sure of it.

Her ears would swivel, picking up on a faint sound. Someone else’s breath, she’d turn on her heal. Pawpads digging into the wet sand and sizzling as the waves lapped at the shore. Stinging against her paws. Her baby blues would fall on an unfamiliar man. One she’d never seen before, was he just a sightseer a joiner perhaps? Regardless she was ashamed she hadn’t spotted them.

She’d pad foward, paws squelching as she walked out of the banks and towards this man. Head held high despite her shame and a tiny smile on her maw. "Hello." she’d woof with a nod, Head tilting. "What are you here for?"

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - With every week that past she worked harder and harder, making up for her obvious failures with respite and determination. As unruly as her power was she was determined to one day rule over it, to hold it beneath her paw just as it’d done to her for her early life. She kept all the lessons she learned to heart, Nesa may not be here anymore but her guiding words and lessons would never leave Candela’s mind. As long as she lived.

Her control was minimal, behind what a normal functioning ‘apprentice’ would be capable of. Yet her training made her body and mind stronger; a double whammy but a very good one. She’d long realized that as the weeks passed the heat that blistered beneath her skin and manifested into clouds of blue, silver and gold would intensify with age. It’d grow stronger and more dangerous, yet she felt more in control. Akin to a snakes venom her fire was most dangerous when she was young and held no control over it. She now knew how to dispel the greater flames, she knew how to force it out along her back and out of her throat. A far cry from most fire elementals but a truly marvelous feat for herself. It wasn’t a curse anymore, it wasn’t a blessing either it was simply apart of herself. A stubborn dangerous portion of herself but without it she’d lose a fundamental part of herself. Candela and her fire were one, they coexisted as if they were two seperate beings yet without each other they’d perish.

A whispy blue ember would flow from her mouth and onto a pile of firewood she’d gathered in the morning. It’d crackle on the dried withered log before catching alight. Soon magnificent blue whispy Fire would smoothly ripple and rithe against the wood. Crackling loudly until it ascended into the air, her bonfire was completed. She’d wait for the heat to die down, watching the blue slowly turn back to a normal average orange and yellow. She’d clear her throat before barking out an invitation to anyone nearby. "Hey! I- made a bonfire if anyone wants to hang around. We could... tell stories or something!" in reality she had zero clue what anyone did at a bonfire.

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela was a hermit here, still so vehemently ashamed at herself for being here. She came back despite knowing better, and she made nothing of her time here. Wallowing in her own guilt instead of doing what she wanted; making friends. She believed this was her third trek over here, she was losing track of time. The pup forced herself over, tail and ears lowered submissively at the crowd of veilers. Most looked to be children but that didn’t stop her from looking unbearably nervous.

Introductions were hard for her, she didn’t find herself to be interesting enough to talk about. Yet she’d try, because everyone else was and she didn’t want to look like the ‘strange silent spy’ she didn’t need to be questioned. She cleared her throat before fumbling out her words "I’m Candela." she’d start trailing off as she tried to figure out what was safe to say. "My uh, my fires blue. Which is pretty cool I guess... since it’s my favorite color and all..."

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - She’d stare at the ciggerate bobbing the waves, watching it dully as it drifted. She wasn’t offended by it nor did she see how it was dangerous, she inhaled smoke all the time. What was the big deal? Was it dangerous or something? She wouldn’t intrude or ask she just regarded it with a state before going back to looking up at him. His explanation was suitable, long but she enjoyed the clarification. He certainly had a strange dialect, it was unique for sure. She quite liked it.

The pup would nod before speaking up again after Adam. "Yep! There’s nothing too dangerous here as long as you don’t try leaping off the edge." She’d chime "I’m Candela, if you’d like a tour I’d be happy to give you one!."

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - He knew, he knew, her knew. Her mind raced, practically breaking down as reality crashed in. He wasn’t mad but who knew what he was thinking or what he would do to her. She stared at him wide eyed, clearly caught before she could even try to lie. She licked her lips, lowering her head in shame. There wasn’t anything to argue, she’d give him the truth "I-I didn’t head over there to betray you I promise. I was just-." she paused jaws snapping shut and tiny teeth clinking together. "I just." she trailed, lifting her fearful gaze back on Alkesei’s. Small smolders had already appeared over her fur. Trailing through her golden brows and across her neck fluff where they normally gathered in abundance.

"I’ve just been visiting. I haven’t done anything bad I promise, i wouldn’t betray Blizzardclan not for anything." she spoke with conviction, earnestly looking up at him. "It was just supposed to be a brief ‘vacation’."

    * I'm undecided on what i want to be but i'm very interested in both law and Forensics!!

    * Writing/Drawing are my main hobbies; i have no desire in pursuing either of them further. I'm happy doing what i do for fun

    * I love horror movies and fiction; that being said i don't get scared very easily!

    * When i'm not here i'm more than likely playing World of Warcraft; i've played it almost my entire life and am way to devoted to it to even think about quitting completely

    * My favorite animal is the Alligator! I've always been drawn to them!

    * I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. While i don't let this slow me down whatsoever I do get horrible cramps in my joints particular around my wrists and fingers

    Candela

    * Almost entirely an original character; she just has a few inspirations. One of them being Zuko from ATLA

    * Her fire has a tendency to change colors thus why it was once yelow and has slowly gone blue as she's aged up

    * Misses her siblings dearly. Prays that one day they'll return.

    * Voice will eventually become raspy with age, most likely due to smoke inhalation.

    * Wishes she was born with a less destructive element. But truth be told she greatly enjoys the power she bares

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Another raid so soon? It seemed like only days since they'd last fled the scene of the canyon after getting Grayskies back. Candela was however excited about the prospect of giving this another shot; she'd make use of herself this time and show these gross-exilers who was boss. She wasn't afraid of them, that's what she told herself anyway. They were mangy flea bitten good for nothings and she'd be doing them a favor by scorching them. Not that she'd ever take pleasure in hurting anybody...

The young Eternite would approach, head bobbing along at Alkesei's words. She'd wait for his call, not daring to impede or disrespect the leader in any way. She was treading on thin ice as it was...

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Projects no matter how much she hated them were of utmost importance to the girl, she couldn't slack and let her grades falter. She was the only hope; the sole child still in school and she was determined not to screw that up. Her GPA couldn't slide, not even an inch and her behavior should stay immaculate. But group projects were so unruly and unpredictable, especially when the teacher decided to randomly place kids here and there. Dooming her to working with some nobody who looked more interested in leaning against the wall than actually joining the conversation and lending a hand. The girl would grit her teeth, pale blue eyes looking back at him as she tried to mentally fish him over. She already knew he wouldn't listen but alas....

When the conversation died down she took matter into her own hands, sighing heavily as she nervously made her way up to him. Biting her lip as she tried to steel her emotions in order to sound much more stern than she truly was. "Erm hey" mission failed, she couldn't be brave if her life depended on it "We need your help y'know.... It's a team effort and w- I can't take a bad grade" she tried to reason, though she may as well be talking to a wall. She wasn't even sure if he'd listen to her. "So could you please pitch in?"

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela despite her age had had aptitude for learning the liberal arts; reading being something she'd picked up long ago in the earliest months of her puphood. Yes she had to be careful and read from a distance to avoid setting things ablaze but books were her solace. There was many things to learns, both fiction and non fiction. Long forgotten histories, tales of grandeur and of course fairy tales her favorite. The topics of Socialism or Capitalism would go over her head but in due time she'd grow to even understand them as well as the most sophisticated facets of learning and reading.

This was an activity she did alone, she rarely if ever let anyone read side by side with her. She couldn't work up the nerve to ask her friends or even go up to her parents to ask them to read to her. So she spent her time alone, gazing over long strewn out sentences over and over until they made sense. Yet as padded around camp she heard the sound of pages turning. Her pale baby blues would fall onto Westerby curiously. From what she'd seen and heard about the male he didn't seem to be the intellectual type but who was she to say. He was an interesting dude, she remembered that much about him so him partaking in this act wasn't surprising in the slightest.

She'd carry herself over, tail wagging slowly and her ears flicking back as she spoke "Hello again Westerby!" she'd woof softly, eyes scanning down to the book he was reading. Her head would cock curiously as she tried to scan over the words "What's that you're reading?"

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela had amassed quite a crowd, the first to arrive being Kabachet and Henry, who she nodded eagerly at. The ladder brought up scary stories something that truly made the little pups skin grow cold, scary stories as the name implied were quite frightening and it was very likely that her emotions would get the better of her. Telling scary stories in front of the bonfire was harmless for most people but for her, it spelled disaster. However she couldn't intrude couldn't force the words out. So she nodded, agreeing to Henry before msutering out a proper argument. If she burnt anyone tonight it'd be squarely her fault; not his.

Arthur was next to arrive; she felt horrible bad for not introducing herself to many of these face! They must've thought she was some sort of stranger, had she been truly that captivated in her training to take notice of them. She was so rude. So terribly rude. She'd offer him a quaint smile in return nodding gratefully towards him, glad she could offer him this warmth and relaxation. Next to come up was a truly magnificent specimen, a dragon adjourned in feathers. A interesting but kind looking man; despite his species. He looked far different than Lief did, but it was unfair to him to compare him to her. She'd allow her paw to be risen up, her head tilted curiosuly up at him before she'd bark her own introduction. "Oh! I'm Candela Eternite." she'd say with a polite nod, allowing her paw to fall once the gesture was completed "It's nice to meet you sir Almadaris" she'd add in pleasantly

She'd take a moment to look between them all looking over their faces and making a mental note of all their names; Arthur, Olivia, Almadaris, Kebechet, and Henry they'd all come here to soak in the warmth of her bonfire. She hadn't expected anyone to come so this crowd was shocking! She was glad "I wish i had some cool stories to tell. Or had some food to share but I'm ah... I didn't plan that far in advance" she'd admit weakly with a shrug and a lowered head. "B-But if anyone else has something to say i'm all ears!"

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - She didn't know much about the drama between Blizzardclan and the Veil, she'd only heard snippets from her parents and occasionally from the other adults. It was a complicated affair, and she'd never truly get what was so significant or dangerous about the veil. Weren't they just another clan trying to survive and thrive like they were, they weren't causing that much harm... Not that she was aware of anyway.

She'd shift where she stood before raising her voice up again, tail still lowered and tone continuing to quiver "Mister Alkesei can i ask you something really quick?" her paws would dig into the ground before she went on. "Why were we at war with the veil in the first place? Is there a reason?" it was a genuine question, she wasn't trying to undermine or insult his ways of leading or how he handled outerclan relationships she just wanted to know why so bad.

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela was by no means an adult but she wasn't a child either, she was at the cusps of adolescence so close yet so far from maturity. The young paladin as she aged understood that she had more duties to attend to, she understood it fell on her shoulders to look after the other kids and to keep them safe. At one point she was an unruly little one, hard to contain or keep safe but now things had changed. She still had her obvious issues but she'd honed her skills to make them more workable, not just for her own sake but for the sake of the other Blizzardclanners. No matter how young or old.

The mutt approached Perseus not long after he called out his inquiry. She didn't mind escorting him around, she felt that she was capable of looking after him. It was only briefly anyways. The paladin would smile softly, one ear flicking nervously. "I can come with you" she'd bark softly, head bowed slightly. "But where were you thinking of exploring?"

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela in general was nervous about this whole... thing. She'd never been on a date, even if this was strictly platonic, she had no idea what to bring or what to say. She would've asked her mother but chickened out at the last moment opting to just wing it and pray everything went well. Her fur was brushed and pristine, it fluffed out and was brushed into a nice neat array despite its thickness. She looked presentable for once, not singed and drenched in soot and her own perspiration,

The pup would plop down on the picnic blanket, paws fiddeling against each other as she awaited for her "date" to arrive.

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela stood far in the back as well not far away from Gabriel and the other "stragglers" she awaited Alkesei's call to arms. Until than she stood still fur puffed out and a nervous yet loosely determined look crossing her youthful pudgy face. If this led to a fight she was going to make sure she was remembered by these "exiles" she'd do much more than last time...

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela supposed her powers were prood that magic existed, yet she'd never seen them as unnatural or inherently magical. It were apart of her being, just as integral as her lungs or her paws, without her flames she was little more than an average timid mutt. At times she wondered how other powers felt or how easy they were to wield, she'd always been amazed by Percy's control over flora and had always grown up being amazed and intimidated by her brothers ice.

Her ears would perk at Henry's call, and she'd slowly crane her neck over towards the sound of his voice before trailing towards the cottage. The scent of blood wafted nearby, overpowering her almost always present scent of smoke. She'd never been the greatest hunter, most of her prey was small or weakly so upon seeing his catch layed out on the table she was thoroughly impressed. She was mildy curious if he'd managed to catch them all himself or if he'd received them from someone else. She'd pad closer to access them before looking up to tilt her head at Henry "You're going to skin them?" she'd ask in a woof, going back to his previous proclamation. She'd never learned how to skin anything, mostly she was just used to eating her food with the fur intact. "Umm, sorry but should i have brought a knife? My claws are too dull to... cut through anything" she'd murmur with a shrug, eyes downcast.

    "SPEECH."

・゚ ✦ ° LITTLE FANG - Candela never even considered murder to be a reality, she didn't think anyone was capable of taking someones life in such a brutal way. It was something that happened only in stories, it was weaved up to tell young children to be careful. To tell them about the dangers of reality. But she'd learned she was wrong, there were people out there who'd gladly take her or anyone else's life without even a second thought. As if the lives of their compatriots and fellow "men" were nothing more than corn to be reaped. It was a horrifying realization for the young canid, she'd much rather be ignorant to the true bloody reality of life and all her messed-up children. But once she knew she couldn't just go and wipe that knowledge from her brain. No matter how hard she scrubbed it was impossible. The only saving grace was the assumption that none of the Blizzardclanners would ever participate in such debauchery....

She'd been patrolling by her lonesome, padding across the territory in utter silence as her eyes scanned dully in front of her watching and waiting for anything interesting to happen. Her paws crunched beneath the snow softly as she traversed until suddenly halting as the scent of gore hit her, a heavy scent one she hated dearly but one she'd gotten used to. Her muzzle would scrunch up but without thinking about it she'd bravely follow the metaphorical trail before discovering the large red trail in the snow. She halted, breath hitching as she stared down at it trying to come up with some excuse, some logical reason for this to be here. There was none, there was none, there was none. Her ears would fold back against her cranium and her muscles would begin to tremble. She'd force herself to follow it until she was at Leif's talons, eyes wide with shock and apprehension.

She'd always looked up the woman as cruel as she'd been, she was powerful and unbeatable precisely what she'd once wanted to be. Months ago she wanted nothing more than to please the dragon, she wanted to convince her that she was worth training, that she was worth her time. Yet now Candela was met with conflict, she was met with a realization that perhaps Leif wasn't the hero (as horrible as she was) Candela wanted her to be. She looked up between her and Tsubodai, lip trembling as she tried to find her words.

"wh-what did you do?" the question was blurted out before Candela could even think of taking it back.
