Ooo yes yes! I think having her confide in him about it would be really good for her :0

Candela had no idea where Percy was going to take her, she ahd no idea how she should act or dress. All she thought about is how she'd react if things went bad or even worse if things went well! What if Percy tried to muzzle her- or or maybe even kiss her. Candela didn't even know how she wanted to feel about her but all she knew is that she'd quite literally die if that happened. She'd combust into flames and all that would be left of her would be ashes.
The wolfdog had settled on a small gold chain, one she'd managed to find in the drawers of her old unused cabin. Thankfully it'd been left untouched, and while she'd been reluctant to reclaim it she knew she needed her privacy more than ever now. She'd stayed in here her first couple of days to adjust, to prepare herself to get reacquainted with everyone. It was a scary prospect for the now young-woman she had been so out of the way of large crowds that she'd all but forgotten how to deal with others. Than again she'd never really known how to either. That hadn't mattered much as a pup, when she had her siblings and parents around. Back when she and Percy were still attached at the hip, back when she was "happy".
She'd lay a paw on her chest before sighing and making her way out the door, Percy should be here soon to pick her up. She was so excited yet so very nervous....

Candela didn't fear that many things save for the fire that blistered in her veins. Snakes, Centipedes, even spiders hardly even caused her to flinch anymore. She knew she could just set them abalze and kill them before they even got a chance to hurt her. Did that mean she was willing to play with them or make "friends" no, not in the slightest. Like most non-prey animals she kept her distance and let them be. She wouldn't mess with things she had no interest in.
There was however something kind of sweet to how Vale spoke to the injured snake, just as a mother would talk to her kids. That was a slightly extreme analogy she knew. Her lips would quirk in a wobbly smile as she padded up to her, a reluctant but still easy loom in her eyes. She didn't want to jerk away and make a fool of herself, she'd manage this interaction and maybe she'd even make a friend... That was wishful thinking
"Is it going to be okay?" she asks with a tilt of her head, a worried pang in her voice.

Out of all the creatures she grew enamored with dragons had to be the one she truly looked to with awe and wonder. She saw Leif in all of them, the woman who displayed their greatest strengths their power and the sheer radiation of intimidation and might. She craved that as a child and even now she felt the appeal and pull that Leif had given off in her eyes. Bai-Chen however was nothing like Leif, appearance wise he was her opposite he was thin and pale. But still ethereal and godly in his own right.
Candela would come up to the shoreline, pale white eyes looking curiously towards the Valozan "Hey. If you want someone to cook a few of those than.. Well i'm your girl" she'd offer with a wobbly grin. Trying her best to make a good first impression. It was instinctive to want to get a dragon to like her, but she had no idea if he would even want her help or want to put up with her. "I'm Candela by the way... I recently came back to Blizzardclan if no one told you. I'm Canoris' daughter" her introduction was long-winded but she felt as if she had to give him the full thing so she wasn't just known as a complete nobody.

It’d felt like such a long time since she’d been to a Blizzardclan meeting. It was familiar yet new all the same, seeing Kady up there was both gratifying and a bit melancholic. She wondered where Alkesei had went off to, the Leader was always a kindly man and she still had the scarf he’d worked so hard on from way back. Regardless she was happy Kady was here to lead, she couldn’t think of anyone more worthy of succeeding him.
The girl would take a spot next to her mother, casting a friendly glance towards her. As she listened to the first announcements made. Mostly about things going on as well as Solaris one of her groups she hadn’t heard a thing about. How far were they away? She would’ve gone but she was sure she’d fuck everything up. She didn’t want to ruin an alliance by setting this literally on fire. So she’d stay where she belonged between the Floating Islands and the Mountains that housed the Haven.

@/Geralt I could make if that works for you?
@/Grimmtales
I might have a romance already in store for her now but I’d be happy to still have a plot between her and Grimm. Perhaps she catches strange feelings for him that could end in a one night stand to try and get rid of the way she feels but it backfires and she feels guilty for cheating. And would try to just pretend it didn’t happen even if it hurts her (or even him)?
@/Ladon
Take your time <3
I’ve been busy lately so it’s not an issue at all

Maybe Gray and Candela could be friends (again)?
Possibly she tries to keep him safe as well as constantly try to bother him for any herb that will help her calm down/help with her fire so she’s practically always bothering him in the infirmary

She’d only met one kindred soul, one woman who fizzled our much to soon for her liking. A woman who died before Candela even reached her first year, her mentor the only mentor she’d ever accepted. The only She’d likely ever accept. She’d trained herself, to afraid of bothering anyone else with her volatility and danger. The hollow She’d once worked in had served its purpose but in the end it failed her as well. It didn’t stop her from hurting anyone, it wouldn’t stop her from killing someone.
She’d blank, watching the flames curl around and sizzle against the meat till it was starting to blacken. She’d startle at a sudden voice, neck fur bristling as a surge of power coursed through the fire simultaneously before fizzling back to the regular roar. "H-hey Duskmire!" she’d bark to loudly trying to disguise her embarrassment and failing completely and utterly. "Sorry." she’d apologize compulsively to his comment, she couldn’t do much about the temperature it always stayed like that. Discolored and way to dangerous.
To his request she’d nod her head about to open her maw when Cass approached. She’d nervously watch the uni-eyed girl wondering if she was going to try and pull something or berate her for something. Her teeth would grit nervously but she’d force a reply "Of course... Theres no way I could eat this all by myself" she shrugs her shoulders before pulling back her now burnt food and letting out a whimper at the sight of the blackened flesh.

Candela was notoriously bad with weekly tasks, she’d always been independent and didn’t really pay any mind to or remember the tasks she stockpiled. It wasn’t that she was forgetful just simply she’d always been busy with things, but Wind Haven was relaxed she didn’t have to worry about getting bombarded by chaos and discord. She could just sit back and take it easy.
Besides she wanted to help, she didn’t want to just sit back and let everyone work for her. She was a Guardian, not just some run of the mill member and she had to actually act like one. She had to prove she deserved this promotion.

She'd draw closer to take the fish in her jaws, as her fangs entered the scaly "hide" a sizzling could be heard as it cooked and blistering within the confines of her maw as she sent blue flames flickering from her throat. Cooking it at the same time she was biting into it. She'd place it down after she wolfed down a few bites to appreciatively look at Bai-Chen. "It taste really good heated up though, Bai-Chen" she struggled with the name, it was for sure foreign but she'd managed to say it correctly.
Her eyes would flick to Jonas and Lucas who she'd respectful dip her head faintly towards them, she'd met the cub before but Jonas was an entirely new face. That or she was going senile. Which she wouldn't be surprised if she was. "A-are you sure is what I mean? I can cook it really quick" she'd raise her paw up only to will a burst of flame to crawl up her foreleg down from her paw. The turbulent flames would dispel quickly, she still didn't trust herself to control it for long.

*EYES* ooo spicy drama

She didn't understand why she wasn't more excited about the promotions, she should be proud that two of the formerly-most important people in her life were growing prestigious and powerful but that didn't stop the unrest from growing in her gut. She hated the feeling, was it jealousy or something else. She was proud of them, they deserved it much more than her who'd run away and dissipated into the wind for a horrible reason that she'd kept hidden under wraps. She thought she never wanted power, in Wind Haven she'd just accepted her role with a ounce of worry and that aftertaste of pride and- ambition in her core.
It was a horrible feeling, she hated it and wanted it gone. She'd swallow the dryness down and smile, looking to her mother and woofing a small word of "Congratulations Mom" she'd look for Percy in the crowd before barking out at her. Not wanting to get up and run to her, she could find her later to celebrate. Maybe she could throw a little party just for her, would she even like that though. Working on that would take her mind off these strange desires after all, so she just might.

She felt horribly under-dressed as she spotted Percy making her way over, her fur would prickle in both embarrassment and that slight satisfaction of pleasure that Percy had dressed herself up all for her. Her ears would tilt back and she'd gulp reluctantly before making her way closer to her date. Fighting back the urge to tremble nervously as she tried to dispel any of the raging flames that gathered over her "collar" all that'd be left was smoke and the final tendrils of the flickering azure flames.
"H-hey Percy" she'd say back voice warbling a clumsy girlish smile on her muzzle, one paw would tenderly play with the chain when it was pointed out and she'd look up eyes glimmering "You really think so?" it was a tad desperate, she'd always liked compliments espcially from those she respected. Percy was one of the few she'd ever fully based her pride in, those comments those little occasional compliments and congratulations had mean't the world to her and her self confidence. It was stupid of her but it wasn't in her control whatsoever.
She'd take her spot next to her and she'd lean slightly in to bump shoulders affectionately with her frien- date... She really wasn't all to sure which was better to refer to her as. She hadn't even known her intentions anyway, she was just being a weirdo probably. Making more of this than she should, she just was happy to hang out again and wanted her to know. "You look really nice too" she'd say softly, in hardly more than a whisper not being able to will herself to make her tone any louder. She'd nod her head and wait for Percy to lead to ashamed to say anything more.

That’d be great if they could have one! I’d be happy to make if that works for you? <3

Ooo yes please
She’d be so worried he was trying to make fun of her but would be so happy that he’d actually be interested in seeing what she can do

She’d always loved watching people work, especially when they were painting or drawing. She found it so amazing how they did it, how those shapes and forms were made. She’d never been able to draw, to scared to stay near the paper long enough to press a paintbrush or pencil into it. The most she did with paper was read, which was less as hands on and stressful as drawing. She’d always gotten frustrated when she messed up so she just knew putting her in front of an easel was a wildfire waiting to happen. So she was happy to just sit back and watch.
She was reluctant to bother him and had been as silent as she could as she sat behind him until Nadia and Canoris had spoken ruining the silence. She’d take her chance and sheepishly pipe in "You’re really talented. Umm if I can ask who taught you?" all skills had to be acquired from somewhere, even her flimsy control over her fire had been learned and honed from a whole ton of sources.
