Ashkit is a RiverClan kit and the reincarnation of Bluefrost. She is currently three moons old and ages every 50 posts. She identifies as cisfemale and her sexual orientation is heteroromantic heterosexual. She was created on November 6th, 2018.

Ashkit, along with her siblings Dawnkit, Drizzlekit, Duskkit, and Polarkit are half-Clan. Their fathers, Morningfrost and Frogleap are both WindClan, while their mother, Bluefrost, is from RiverClan. Dawnkit, Duskkit, and Polarkit live with their fathers in WindClan while Ashkit and Drizzlekit are being raised by Ryecatcher in RiverClan. Ashkit has a variety of other half-siblings, such as Aleksei, Beeflight, Desertbreeze, Elmpaw, Nettlepaw, Riverpaw, Serpentpaw, Lavenderkit, Wrenkit, Mothkit, and Flamingokit. Her family is very large and extensive, spanning across many Clans.

Despite being named for her mother's best friend, Ashkit shares a striking resemblance to Bluefrost. Adopting many Russian Blue characteristics from her late mother, she even shares similar facial features. Unlike her mother, Ashkit's pelt is more slate gray than blue-gray, appearing as a very dull and dark color. Her icy blue eyes contrast nicely with her fur, probably being one of the most prominent and striking features of her face. She also possesses a distinct white blaze right between her eyes, what she likes to call her 'comet'. This mark was given to her by StarClan as a reminder to her uncle, Chasingcomets, who killed Bluefrost. Ashkit has a very petite form, relying more on speed and stamina than brute strength.

Ashkit is very concerned for the wellbeing of others, especially those in her own Clan. She puts a lot of thought, time, and energy into her altruistic nature, always being there to lend a paw to help or a shoulder to lean on. When Ashkit sets her mind to something, there is very little that can deter her from completing her task or accomplishing her goals. She is a very decisive individual and always knows what she wants and how she wants it done. Likewise, her mind is very creative and she is always there to offer insightful advice. She always has her eyes out for a way to be helpful and useful. Patience is a virtue, and it is one that Ashkit does not possess. She functions with the end in mind -- but that end better come quickly. Ashkit has no tolerance for waiting, not when there's things she could be doing. Impatience is something she struggles with, and one of the few things that can make her upset. This might be a nod to her perfectionistic tendencies. Ashkit is always eager to please, to complete things to the best of her ability. Failure never fails -- pun intended -- to make her upset. She's sensitive, and the fear of others not seeing her as a competent member of the Clan sets her off. One has to walk on glass when around her because Ashkit is extremely prone to valuing others' opinions of her too much, especially when they're negative. Extremely focused on always doing what's best, she is also a very withdrawn individual. For one reason or another, she guards herself and does not let many in close to her heart.

0-6 moons — Ashkit was born on one unfortunate leaf-fall day after her uncle, Chasingcomets, mortally wounded her mother, Bluefrost. Her mother went into labor early and dragged herself to WindClan’s border where she gave birth to five healthy kittens with the help of Rootlegs, RiverClan’s other medicine cat. Before she died, she was able to name Ashkit after her best friend, Ashfolly. Her siblings Dawnkit, Duskkit, and Polarkit went with their fathers, Frogleap and Morningfrost while Ashkit and Drizzlekit went with Ryecatcher, a warrior who accompanied Rootlegs to the scene. She was taken to the nursery and nursed by some of the queens there until she was old enough to be weaned.

Finished up Ashkit's sub account so she's all ready to be played once she's born. I love her so much already, she's such a sweetie! <3

Twin blue eyes watched as the beetle skittered across the vibrantly colored leaf. Little needle-like claws pricked the soft ground in anticipation as she waited for the precise moment to pounce. When the beetle got to the longest tip of the tri-pointed leaf, that was when she made her move. Letting out a battle cry, Ashkit launched herself forward, claws outstretched towards the small creature. “I gotcha!” she hissed. Upon landing squarely on the leaf, Ashkit tumbled around on the ground with it, surely hoping the little beetle was trapped between her paws. However, when she pulled them away, the little insect spread its wings and took off into the air. “Huh...?” she whimpered as it disappeared from view.

Ashkit sighed as she pulled herself to her feet, shaking dust and debris from her blue pelt. Tail nearly tucked between her legs, she spat at the leaf and retreated towards the nursery with a scowl on her face. ”Mousedung!” she swore as she swatted at a pebble which flew into the air, disappearing from her view.

A voice caused her to jump and Ashkit halted in her tracks as she whirled around, finding herself face to face with the familiar tabby form of her deputy. Her ears pricked in shock as Twistedtail allowed for a compliment. The fact that she still needed improvement flew right over her head. She had good form for someone her age? “What could I im-improve?” she asked the deputy, scrunching her nose as she struggled with the new word presented to her.

Her attention was briefly directed towards Whitepaw who mumbled something about swearing on his way over. He appeared grumpy and Ashkit flattened her ears in uncertainty as he made his way over to her. However, he seemed to adopt a look of amusement as he asked for her name. “Ashkit,” she mewed. “Ryecatcher is my father.” Of course, not biologically, as the tom had only adopted her and Drizzlekit after the traumatic death of a mother - Bluefrost - that she was too young to remember.

A sudden movement from the nursery averted Ashkit’s attention again and she found herself face to face with one of the older kittens in the nursery. Sycamorekit, she thought her name was. “Hello,” the gray kitten mewed, wagging her tail tip in greeting to her denmate.

Ashkit did indeed look like her mother. She even possessed a white spot that marred the perfection of an entirely blue coat, except this one was strategically placed on her forehead, resembling a comet. The only bit of evidence provided by StarClan themselves that Chasingcomets has been the one to kill her mother. The small she-kit was none the wiser. As Ashfolly padded over to greet her and her denmate, the kit’s ears perked when the red tabby made mention of their similar names.

“I was told my mother named me after you,” she informed Ashfolly proudly as her chest jutted outward. The she-cat before her must have been pretty important to Bluefrost if she had honored her daughter with the same prefix. Did that mean Ashkit was special, too? The young molly was distracted from her thoughts when it dawned on her that the red tabby would have been very close to her mother, and curiosity got the better of her. “What was she like, Ashfolly?” she asked.

Hey there! Ashkit is my new RiverClan baby since I killed off Bluefrost. She’s the daughter of Bluefrost x Morningfrost x Frogleap, and is adopted by Ryecatcher (and kinda Ashfolly who is her namesake). Right now she doesn’t have much development so she’s got a sort of blank slate kit personality that will develop more as she grows. You can read her tags for what that exactly entails. I would love to interact with all my old Riverfam friends on this character so here’s what Ash is open to:

’Kits! Snow!’

Kestrelsong’s voice drew Ashkit from her slumber. Standing up, the kitten stretched her limbs out in front of her as her lips parted in a heavy yawn. Slowly, she padded from the best she shared with her brother and out into the wintery white camp. The cold breeze ruffled her gray fur and made her shiver. She might have disappeared back inside the nursery where it was warm if it wasn’t for the flakes of snow that cascaded down from the sky, littering the ground in sparkling white ice crystals that glistened in the sunlight. “Woah...” she breathed in awe, her breath coming out in a puff of steam. She stepped forward, the snow crunching beneath her tiny paws. It stung her paw pads and she shivered. “Brrr... it’s c-cold!” she squeaked, teeth chattering.
