❝ THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE IN ME, JUST WAITING TO BREAK FREE ❞

Cole had... no idea what to say. Tears were welling up in her blue eyes, and her throat felt tighter than it had in a long time... tighter than... than... no, she didn't even want to remember that day. Wasn't losing one parent enough - why did she have to lose two? Visibly trembling, the young molly would finally speak, tired of listening to everyone's word when she could not find her own. "no... i- this is... you CAN'T." She hadn't meant to yell - hadn't meant to, but not really. Anger was coursing through her, over riding the sadness and the understanding she'd been trying to voice moments before. "H-how can you just... just leave? " she wanted to run away, to run and to hide and to curl up and cry. She wanted to... she wanted... she just wanted her mother. But flameseeker wanted to leave. Her family just kept falling apart... when would it ever end?

i'm sure they'll probably get along great! but i'd like to get an ic interaction thread - that way we can see if they'll work together.

However, Cole just got blindsided by some ic drama with her family, so she may be a bit cold during this first interaction despite trying to be more friendly to people

Also here's her personality since her bio is taking a bit longer than expected

Cole is very cold and distant at most times - known for her blank expression and icey eyes. But she's a loyal and hard working warrior - gifted at hunting, worked hard enough to be promoted to warrior ahead of her siblings and at a rather young age, and independent enough she's willing to patrol on her own. But she's very emotional inside- she built walls as a kit due to feeling so insecure and odd due to how easily upset she was, and she's working hard to tear those down, to show her feelings, and to let people in. She's better with actions then words - doing small things or big ones to show she cares, because she often either can't find the right words or what she wants to say just doesn't come out right. She also prefers simplicity - she likes pretty things and to be well organized, and takes up a rather minimalist lifestyle in that she does what is needed without to much hassle and tries to avoid unnecessary things unless they make her happy.

Cole watched from the sidelines - face as blank as ever, but her eyes sparkled with just a hint of joy and just a hint of sadness. Family... it was a gift from starclan to have one, and she was happy the two reunited... but... she missed her own mother even more now.

Cole often slipped out of camp to spend time alone - she was a gifted hunter and held her own in battle, so moonstar had put up with it even back when she was an apprentice. Now however she was a warrior - and doing such was even more commonplace. Humming very faintly beneath her breath, the she-cat followed a familiar path, her eyes half-lidded in comfort as she knew the trail oh so well.

A crack from above startled her, and Ivey blue eyes widened in panic - was a branch going to fall onto her? Looking up however only worsened that fewling, as she spotted her ginger -furred brother wobbling on a branch.

"Starlingpaw! G-Get down from there!" she'd yell, panic bubbling up much to strong for the she-cat who still had so much trouble with her emotions.

Having spotted them as they made their way towards camp, cole had padded over with interest - wondering who it was her clanmates were escorting. At the sight of such a familiar face and scent, she'd stare, blank-faced as ever but with a hope shining so bright in her eyes no one who'd ever set eyes upon Coldnose could miss it. "Mom? What... are you coming home now."

Cpole was a bit hurt and worried to hear the words coming from her mothers tongue - she thought this was her fault? "Starclan would never punish everyone for the actions of just one cat." that wasn't what she'd meant to say, and internally wincing, she'd nervously correct herself "Besides, you did nothing wrong... just, figured yourself out?" that was better, maybe, although coldnose was still cursing internally at her awkwardness and lack of... social skills, or whatever. She was trying to do better - really, she was.

Cole was... tired, to say the least. Her dad was dead or missing, she wasn't sure which - her broth-no, sister was now, well, her sister; her mother had left, her mother had returned, half her clanmates were dropping off the face of the earth... or worse, dying. In better news however, she'd finally gotten back into the swing of things. Border patrols, hunting, cleaning dens, guarding camp. It was simple, easy, mindless busy work and she was loving it. It had proved a welcome distraction. And she also had much more free time as a warrior - which meant this afternoon, she was going on a leisurely stroll, passing by fourtrees.

After her kidnapping, Cole was more familiar with some twoleg items, though she despised them and the bad memories they brought with them. Keeping her distance, her cold ice-blue eyes would narrow slightly, and she'd simply look away in distaste - not even bothering to approach.

Coldnose had never minded the rain - it was soothing and calming; so long as it wasn't a downpour like it had been a moon or two back. Padding over to join the younger apprentices, the calm warrior would softly speak, her words hesitant and unsure despite the blank stare she seemed to be giving them. "it's nice."

cole was not a climber - she was more at home on the ground and in the undergrowth. Even open moorland was more comforting than being up so... high. Shaking her head as she padded along after moonstar and goatkick, she'd let a small half-smile slip onto her lips, and her eyes were ever so slightly less frosty than the moment before at the leaders joke.

Parenthood - it was something Cole wanted, but knew now was not the time for it. She had no real significant other yet anyways... though there was perhaps a certain windclanner still in the back of her mind. Approaching the two, she'd offer an uneasy smile - the gesture was still quite foreign to the young warrior. "She'll be a great warrior some day." she'd murmur, icey-gaze following the kit.

Startled yet not showing it, icey-blue eyes would slowly trail over to the tom - her blank face showing no real signs of emotion for a moment, before her eyes sparkled ever-so-slightly with curiosity. The stranger was unusually polite - and his speech suggested he wasn't clanborn. Very few clanborn cats referred to people as 'mam' - which, made the young warrior feel just a tad bit old "Just... wandering i suppose. It's a nice day," she'd mumur, her soft voice calm and polite, though her speech was a bit stiff, as if she wasn't sure of what she was saying. "...You?"
