carmenere had instructed him to host a training session focusing on the usage of weapons. alcibiades was not one to disappoint, especially on the field of warfare and its many " arts. "

alcibiades had spent a good amount of time gathering up what weapons he could from the armory, things like spears, halberds, swords, daggers, scythes, and other weapons had been propped up in an area just outside of the mansion. he'd cleared it out just for this task, so he direly wished that some of the cartel's members would be willing to participate in it. for this training session in particular, however, instead of being in the hellhound body so many of the cartelians were used to, he'd jumped into his birth body.

an slim bodied catsune painted all white with golden accents, the muscles under his gorgeous fur well - toned and strong and two pairs of feathered wings hugging close to his sides. this was the body he was the most comfortable with, as it was the one he had been born into and the one he had trained in for as long as he could remember. rolling prettied shoulders back, alcibiades would stand within the mansion's gaping entrance. "i'm hosting battle training, and it's focus will be on weaponry. if you wish to possibly learn something new, it'd be good to participate. when enough of you arrive, i'll instruct you all on what to do next." with that, the nine - tailed catsune would turn on his heels and depart to the area he had prepared for the session.

he stands like a proud general at the head of an army, just as his father taught him. he couldn't get such vigorous and vicious training out of his head. it would be forever ingrained within his mind. he takes a couple of calming breaths, his tails wavering behind him, and his wings opening confidently at his side.

Unsurprisingly, the Consigliere and Capo was not very far behind Penny. As he approached, he'd seen how Carmenere had brushed past him and further into the mansion, seemingly downtrodden. The hellhound's mouth pulled into a slight frown, wondering if he should go after her to see if the girl was fairing well - or to investigate what the possible cause of this was. Shifting slightly, he decides to trail after Penny for the moment, and came to pause beside his co - worker, flicking his gaze from Merlot to Loki, who seemed to be upset as well. "What in the world is going on here?" He asked himself, his tail giving a short flick.

alcibiades remembered knitting a cute sweater for one of his former clanmates in the dark dynasty. the tiger hadn't trusted him with the thing, for whatever reason, so he'd felt somewhat dejected by the end of it. he still kept the thing, hoping that some tiger - sized person might appreciate the ugly sweater he'd made roughly a year ago. it was still in pristine condition too!

following after penny's voice, the angelic hellhound would settle himself near, plucking up some fluffy, sky blue colored wool that had caught his eye. it even seemed to glitter slightly! he looked at the other things penny had lying around before shifting his attention fully onto the basilisk, whom he offered a smile. "exciting stuff we'll be doing today, hm? i've always liked sewing and knitting,"

he'd gotten it from his mother. she was, of course, the softer of his parents. his mother taught him medicine, and knitting was something he'd picked up from her as well. she quite liked to knit ...he imagined she did it because of the stress she was put under by his overbearing father. "thank god that brute is out of our lives."

alcibiades couldn't help it when his ears flicked back at fallengrace's exclamation, their accusation: liar. the hellhound's mind was steeped in a blossoming confusion that only made them frustrated with the dragon's stubbornness, and reluctance to see that, truly, none of this was his fault. the spiteful words that their sibling spat towards him only made alcibiades frown with sadness, for only he knew the actual truth. he'd planned to tell fallengrace at some point, about the reason he tried so hard to best the eldest in everything they did, and why he, in particular, tried to earn their father's favor. but he never blamed anything on fallengrace - not inwardly at least. their squabbles always ended with fingers being pointed, though it was always superficial: it was what siblings did.

he couldn't say he was surprised either. he knew what kind of shadow that he would be enveloping the rest of his siblings in with how big his wings were. their parents allowed them to fly into the sun, while their siblings remained rooted in their spots on the ground, forced to watch as alcibiades did circus tricks for a cruel carnival. fallengrace ...didn't understand any of it.

although blinded by thick shadows, alcibiades merely accepted what was to come next. he was hit by the cactus the dragon had thrown at him, and pins sinking into the fur around his neck and shoulders. dozens of tiny little needles bit him at once, and the force of the cactus thrown made alcibiades falter in air, a wince leaving him.

he folded his wings to his sides and tried to descend, and was pushed into the ground by fallengrace's heavy claws. the hellhound winced, but said nothing as the other ranted to them, their pain that alcibiades knew he caused. he knew it. he'd always known it. but he did it for a reason - that was one thing the dragon never thought of, the " golden boy's " secret agenda. he was being prompted to admit a hatred that was never truly there. fallengrace would not hear the words they wanted, unfortunately. "i loved you," he mutters this softly enough for only fallengrace to hear him, his rose colored eyes staring defiantly into his sibling's own. "everything i did, becoming the heir of our wretched family was for everyone's sake. i hated every moment of that, but every day i had to remind myself that i had to endure everything father and mother put me through so that one day we could build the hamriks from the bottom up: starting with you and me. i lied to you and everyone else for years because i loved you all so much." alcibiades would have said more, would have explained why he did it, but he hadn't the time.

he twists his head to the side as he hears penny's call, before sighing softly with a bitter smile shifting onto his face. "so what was it that you said? that i know nothing about you?" he tilts his head gingerly to the side, fighting back tears. "it should be the other way around, i think..." with the call for a retreat, alcibiades knew that he'd have to return home so that he could properly treat breakout and, more importantly, be there for his crewmates. utilizing his light elemental, he would hope to suddenly brighten everything around them, similarly to the effect of an flash - bang, with the objective to effectively distract and temporarily blind fallengrace. with that, he'd tear himself away from fallengrace's grasp, and stretch out his wings once more to retreat with the rest of the cartel, leaving his sibling with his words.

alcibiades remains rigid as the woman turned her attention onto him, his brows furrowing against his forehead as she assures to him that what she was saying wasn't because of what he'd done earlier. he found it hard to believe, and logically so, at least. a heated talk like this happening suspiciously soon after something like that taking place? how convenient.

the hellhound only narrows his eyes slightly. he doesn't understand why she would be this open about the sort of person she was, especially if she already knew that vampires were considered to be taboo, and being associated with such was a surefire way of being heavily disliked. if this wasn't because of him and rather for rue, why did she feel the need to announce her existence as a vampire to everyone in the cartel? it seemed like a personal matter to him - one that the cartel didn't need to be involved with ...but each to their own, he guessed. if it made her sleep better at night, then what was he to say?

as dumb as he thought it was, he says nothing in response, only flicking his gaze away from azumi when rue came up beside him. her soft humor made alcibiades sigh quietly in acceptance. he wouldn't make it his problem if it didn't need to be. "right." says the capo before he stiffly dips his head to both mother and daughter and moved off to conduct his own business, though one thought did disturb him.

    "breakout had history with vampires?"

    - out!

oooh, a human au with alci and breakout? i can't remember when their last human au was! probably a really long while ago honestly

and also maybe a regular private thread with alcibiades because you can bet he'll be so worried over breakout and will be riddled with guilt because he thinks it's his fault that he got so hurt. ooor maybe we can squish that into their au thread for a plot :0c

and noted !! hope you get better. make sure to drink lots of water if you're feeling unwell <3

ohh yeah, that was like towards the beginning of the year? or somewhere in the middle of it - and it's the new year now. definitely has been a long time since then!

a main game based au sounds alright to me though. if you'd like i can make it :0

and oh yeah, that's totally understandable. alcibiades will feel so bad seeing him like that though, and feel completely powerless, but he'll try his best regardless!

i believe it was in march that they got together? i think it's been a bit longer since they've known each other though! it really has been a while since these two have known each other, thinking about it more

and alright! have a good sleep, sei - chan!

    eyes that potential plot.

yes please? i'd love that! can't wait to see what these two siblings will get into now after their huge feud

    everything hurt.

although his body ached with the bruises and wounds that had been inflicted upon him, the capo is horribly stoic. along the way home, he was completely and utterly silent. thoughts danced about in his mind, like the tango, intricate and complex, and his heart felt heavy the whole venture to the safety of their mansion. he couldn't believe this happened -- why had this have to happen?

the hellhound quietly grit his teeth together as he carried on, stubbornly, the long needles of cacti sticking out of his neck and shoulders. it didn't nearly bother him as much as breakout's health did, who he fervently fretted over even while they were mostly out of the jungle now. as the raiding party arrived home, alcibiades' legs finally gave up from under him. he slumps onto his haunches, far too exhausted to even retrieve his first aid kit, and he has to sit there and watch and listen as sir pentious regurgitated his boyfriend.

the sight was horrid to behold, and he felt his stomach flip with unease. the act of swallowing breakout and then throwing him back up was appalling for the lack of better words, but he supposed they didn't have any other convenient method. alcibiades had been stuck fighting fallengrace, and a lot of the other members of the cartel had been interlocked in their own fights ...penny did as much as he could, even though the result was gross.

as rue and penny talk, alcibiades catches his breath. he struggles to his paws again, blood trickling from his wounds. "i'll make preparations for treatment," the nurse would inform before he turns, disappearing towards the infirmary to gather what he could. he forces himself to act quickly no matter how much his body screamed at him to lie down. he was their nurse ...the only one that was really around, anyways. he couldn't treat himself until breakout and penny were safe.

alcibiades flickered his gaze to rue as she spoke, his brows lifting as the situation was explained to himself and penny. his frown remained, if not deepened slightly upon hearing the dilemma. "oi vey," he thinks as he reclines into a seat, but held his head high nonetheless. he and penny would be able to reach a decision ...they didn't need to involve breakout for something as trivial as this, hopefully.

"put this fellow probation? well, that seems hardly fair ...or specially welcoming." alcibiades hums, though his words were moreso directed towards penny as he raised his gaze towards the other capo, wondering if he shared his opinion. he understood that protecting the members already here were important, but judging newcomers because someone in the clan had bad chemistry with them was unreasonable and frankly inexcusable.

he turns to look at merlot briefly, his pierced ears sliding forward slightly upon his head before he returns to gazing evenly at loki. "if i'm hearing this right, this disagreement seems to be completely one sided. and merlot didn't want to cause any conflict - you seemed to have caused such yourself, hun, pitching such a fit." he pauses with an small, amused smile. if merlot and carm had personal quarrels, they could surely solve it on their own grounds. it was not any of their business to step into their person affairs - that was what he thought, at least. he knew he wouldn't like it if someone poked their nose into his business. he trusted that this merlot fellow wouldn't hurt carmenere anyhow, but if push came to shove alcibiades would be fully willing to kick the other to the curb himself.

"i don't see anything wrong with allowing him to stay. your thoughts, penny?" he concludes and tilts his head towards his fellow capo, rose - washed eyes seeking a similar approval.

    "ALCIBIADES!"

ah, it seemed like his presence has been summoned. the hellhound would not take long to arrive on scene, his strides made swiftly. curiosity is no stranger upon his features, his brows gently pushing together on his forehead as he approached. "yes, penny?" the nurse would hum as he arrives at the basilisk's side. a moment later, his gaze finds purchase on feliks' face, someone he doesn't believe he's met formally but recognized to be the thunderlands' leader.

simply being in the cartel for as long as he has only meant that he had a fairly firm grasp on their politics and who were their associates. the thunderlands themselves were seen as an valued associate of theirs from what he could remember. a pleasant smile lifts onto the man's elegant features as he dips his head slightly towards the chieftan. "you must be feliks, yes?" he says once he raises his head again, rose - washed eyes shimmering with his usual warmth. "it's a pleasure to be able to meet you. i'm alcibiades, capo of the nurse division." the ivory and sunset marked hound leans back onto his haunches beside his co - worker, his tail wrapping around his paws. "how may i be of assistance to you?"

alcibiades failed to know that breakout had family in the exiles - they hardly talked about each others family anyhow, the subject far too heavy for the hellhound's shoulders in the first place, especially now that he has been betrayed by his very own sibling. the last time alcibiades had interacted with the exiles, it hadn't been a pleasant one to say the least. they'd betrayed his trust and love, turning their backs on him when he'd brought them out of a plague and drought with the materials he'd attained in the dark dynasty when he had ascended to leader. understandably, that left a very bitter taste in the back of his throat.

the hellhound arrives at the saluki's call, but he hesitates in coming any closer as he recognized the scent the surgeon carried. rose washed eyes narrow slightly, his tail giving a firm lash. he stands at an distance, close enough for the exiler to see him and far enough to guarantee his own safety. "what are you doing here, exiler?" alcibiades questions, and although his voice was soft it was guarded and brittle. what could an exiler be here for anyways?

alcibiades had been nearby when penny's scream had echoed out from the forge. he had been trying to collect a few herbs for a garden when he had been startled out of his concentration, and he whipped around in worry. dropping his basket where it was, alcibiades would swiftly make his way over to the site where he saw his stubborn boyfriend walking about despite him telling him not to and penny, with his arm half - submerged in a barrel of water. despite the feeling of flourishing annoyance at his boyfriend's wandering about, penny's evident pain caused a bit more worry to arise in him as he steps closer.

the ivory and sunset marked hellhound narrowed his eyes sharply at the exiler's words. he was here to see breakout - yes, that would have been fine by itself, he supposed - but the word he used, fetch, made the capo's lips curl upwards immediately and the blood in his veins start simmering. people have called him a pet before, an accessory with no subconscious, and the implications of being a mere pawn nonetheless triggered a tidal wave of anger. even if it hadn't been ghoulian's intention, there was a flicker of indignation in his eyes as he responds aloofly, "breakout has been injured, and has been prescribed to bed rest," that was putting it lightly, though he wouldn't be surprised if the stubborn man was up and walking without his permission. "perhaps you should come back later when he's feeling better, mister ghoulian." alcibiades suggested with the slightest tilt of his head as he looked down at the exiles surgeon, trying to iron out his expression into something more neutral. he would have preferred for the exiler to not come back at all to save himself an headache, but he wasn't exactly the one with the utmost authority.

his thoughts churned for a moment, the cogs in his head turning slowly. this man, whomever he was, knew breakout on a first name basis. alcibiades knew that breakout had stayed around in the exiles for a while longer than he had after he had left the ungrateful canyon - dwelling group in the dust. was this man a friend of breakout's from his time in the exiles? he wrinkles his nose slightly at the thought, a huff pushing past pale colored lips. he'd thought he'd cut ties with that insufferable group of barbarians. but perhaps not.

the situation the thunderlands found themselves in was unfortunate, of course. to lose a medic in the harsh winter times was no doubt unfortunate and nothing short of sour luck. "i see," the hellhound would hum. it didn't take him even a moment to consider his options, his decision reached almost instantaneously. the thunderlands was an associate, and while he had growing concerns about breakout's condition, alcibiades wasn't the only nurse around, thankfully. he could afford to stay in the thunderlands for a short amount of time and let the other nurses cater to breakout's injuries ( but something about that didn't feel right to him - perhaps because he didn't trust anyone to come within several feet of his currently injured boyfriend ). he'd have to swallow down his personal feelings on the matter, however. this was more important. "i will be more than glad to help you and the thunderlands. allow me to collect my things, and i'll be right along." an immediate departure, not only because he wished to immediately assist the group, but because he knew if he was able to teach what he could, he would be home sooner. his worries would not have to fester for long. his gaze shifts to rue as she arrives, his ears flicking slightly upon hearing her offer. ah - that's right, the thug was still relatively new to the cartel, wasn't she? perhaps accompanying him to the thunderlands would be an valuable experience for her and, if she wished, she could learn the basics of medicine as he lends his teachings. "of course, rue, only if you wish." he says to her, "if you're going to come, you should collect whatever you'll need as well."

this would be his first time coming to the sundran jungle. he remembers hearing rumors of a fire happening in another part of the jungle, but the western part of it seems to have been far less affected by it. it was quite humid despite it being winter in other parts of the world, but alcibiades felt that he was lucky to sport such a light colored pelt. he couldn't say the same for rue, however, what with her use of the fire elemental power. he wonders if harnessing the power made her feel warmer -- if that was the case, it'd be rather unfortunate, wouldn't it? "almost there," the man would hum as he saunters forth swiftly on his long legs, knowing that the thug would be able to keep pace with him. it felt nice to be able to go as fast as he could in a body like this -- quite a few of their clanmates were less than half of their size, and even he had to be aware of where he stepped a majority of the time. in the end, the trek from delos up to south orcadia hadn't been too terribly long.

alcibiades slows to a stop as they encroached upon the border, his tail lashing slightly behind him. feet before them laid the thunderlands territory, and the male peered into its foliage. despite having grown up on agrelos, the man hadn't bothered to venture to the jungle for any sort of reason. his home had been on the archipelago islands, and he had never had much reason to leave it for any reason thanks to his family and their subordinates. it was lovely here though, he thinks to himself. pushing a sigh from his maw, a smile carving its way onto marbled features, he turns to glance at his escort. "apart from the humidity, it's quite nice here isn't it?" he picks up conversation until they're approached, the capo leaning back onto his haunches to finally rest.

    - RUE INFERNO

alcibiades wasn't expecting the sudden change in attitude from the exiler. his brows furrowed deeply in surprise, but he didn't take a step back even while ghoulian dared get near the border. he was about to shoot back a retort, hot upon his tongue for him to stay back if he wanted to keep his head, but his demands admittedly caught the capo off guard. "little brother?"

his jaw is slightly agape, and he doesn't respond immediately as his crewmates arrived on scene to pitch their opinions. brother? breakout had a brother? alcibiades is unable to wipe the surprise from his face until minutes later after merlot and rue had spoken, his tail giving a slow swish behind him. "st - stand down." he says after a moment more, ivories nibbling anxiously upon his lip. he's nervous, of course he is, because this was the exiles. he didn't trust them as far as he could throw them, but this was breakout's family. he couldn't just ...he gives merlot and rue a sideways glance before he turns his rose colored stare onto ghoulian once more.

"i will let you see him, but i will be along with you, understand?" he doesn't explain his thoughts, or why he had a sudden change of heart. but he knows breakout might have done it for him, too. his gaze narrows upon ghoulian with skepticism, a silent threat in his eyes.

    - uber rushed i'm sorry

the prettied hellhound would glance down at the saluki as he came closer, stepping over their border, and up to his side. his pierced ears fluttered at his gratitude. while he was still a bit put - off by the sudden revelation between this man and breakout, he managed to nod his head slightly towards him. "...don't mention it." he found himself mumbling, and began to turn away to lead towards the mansion when he heard loki's voice and her assertion. the capo looked towards her, before stating evenly, "just make sure that no more exilers come up to the border, loki. he won't hurt my boyfriend. i'll make sure of it." with that stern assurance, alcibiades turns away without another word, his decision and his command final. "don't argue with me or i'll really lose it here and now." he thinks to himself, angry red peonies wanting to sprout up from underneath his paws. he silently gestures to ghoulian to start moving with a flick of his tail before moving on towards the mansion with swift steps.

"ah, it's hot over here..." comes alcibiades' soft comment as he approaches, wavering his tail behind himself in a way that was meant to cool himself off. the heat that loki gave off was a lot at once, so much so that even while to some it'd be nice to revel in, the mere intensity of it was enough to make the other hellhound uncomfortable. he looks to her for a moment, quietly asking if she were okay with nothing but a concerned look in his rose - washed gaze before fully turning his attention onto angelbeats.

"i don't know hayliel, but she was the leader here at some point, yes?" he eases himself into the conversation, a meager smile offered towards the ambassador. "i wasn't around back then, but i believe liquidgold had been here a couple of months back." he hadn't spoken much to them himself, but they had apparently been a part of the cartel for a while. "unfortunately, i haven't seen them either."

with a light sigh, he'd tilt his head slightly to the side. "how was your trek from the meadows? not bad, i hope? would you like some rest before you leave again?"

    - rushed towards the end aaahh
