Eridus had known about the kingdom, how it had been ruled by a king that was fair and free, until he had died. Then the kingdom had been under his wife's commandment, rumours telling of such a cruel woman. She shook her head, she had no clue.

Eridus thought for a moment, head turning to look behind her as if she were going to walk away but she didn't. "marriage it is then" she quietly remarked after a few moments. Breaking the awkward silence that had been thrown over them. "though, any funny business, and you're dead, same with that pretty bird of yours" She stated coldly, now standing up and walking off. She was hungry, and she wanted food. The negotiating or whatever that had been had been exhausting.

Anders giggled at the recount, she couldn't imagine someone blowing Max off. Max was the sweetest person she had met, always looking out for others, caring for them. She would probably cut off her own toe to keep her happy. Anders looked at Max concernedly, eyes catching her gaze and indicating to the glass, a small shake of her head. She was not going to carry her back home drunk.

She then turned back to her mum, jaw clenching, she was dancing with the devil. "so implying she's being naive with me?". She questioned, her patience for the woman quickly losing. "I would think Max rather likes me".

Aksel smiled. "i might go back either" She winked with that. "i dont have anything or anyone waiting for me" She shrugged, deciding to pop into the conversation. She smiled again, viewing the others, her friends. Her best friends. The people she would risk her life for if needed. She loved them more than anything.

"while i'm here i plan on getting f*cked up and drunk, who's with me aye?" She yelled again, another bright smile covering her face. She loved to get drunk, not that she would ever admit it, but it was a bit of a problem, drinking. She mostly did to forget everything, a few hours where nothing mattered, nor did she have to care about anything. She was free. And this holiday, this trip meant being free.

Because she was hungry, she imagined Dove was too, and though the food here would in no way shape up to any food presented to royalty, it was something and if she didn't want it, it was her problem. She returned to the tent with two packets of food, both containing mainly beef jerky but some fresh buffalo meat, hunted and kill that morning. She looked at the bird, eyebrows raising at the interaction before waving the packet at the other girl. Sitting down in one of the chairs and digging into her own chow.

Anders hand drifted to meet Max's and instinctively grabbed it, squeezing it tight. She was starting to get over the whole dinner, the whole wedding. Max's mother was truly someone she couldn't stand. She kept her gaze with the woman, heart beating as Max spoke. "dinner looks great huh?" She states, the smoothly turning to Bailey and Chance, not wanting to special such a special few days for the two of them.

Terry was not looking forward to the new year, her third year. Truthfully she had only attended university because her of father's money, an offer too good even for her to deny. She had been accepted through her photography, a keen eye for magnificent images but not so much on being a decent adult. She was sluggish, care free, couldn't really give a rats ass on her life. She just wanted to have fun. And fun was what she intended on doing.

She had been dropped of quickly by her fathers friend, a woman she had grown close to when her mother had died. And with a hug, she had left her. Standing on the side of the road with a bag pack and one small suitcase. She wasn't big on possessions. She wandered up through the crowds of eager looking students, grabbing her key and storming straight to her room. She wanted nothing more than to drop her stuff and head out. Catch up with some friends from previous years, get a low down on the parties that would be held on the first few days, she wanted to know it all.

Terry burst through the door, a goofy grin littered her face before realising someone else was in the room. Then it lowered, and so did her feel of enjoyment. The previous year she had no roommate, just one big room to herself and it had been perfect. This was not going to be fun. She lifted up with her free hand to adjust the beanie on her head before lowering it again. "uh, what's up" She finally muttered, finally resting her two bags onto the bed.

sorry about no fancypost! in a bit of a rush aha

Anders had been assigned to clean the royal families rooms, to hand wash each and every sheet, to make sure even the tiniest peck of dirt was gone. But that's not what she had in mind. For months she had been saving up for a suit, tailored made to fit her, for her to attend one of the balls in secret and many of the other maids had helped her. Especially when it came to getting ready. Even she hadn't thought about it all that much, and when she was presented a silver mask by another girl double her age, she couldn't help but feel ashamed. If anyone had seen her and recognised her, it would have been a disaster.

Anders stepped nervously into the ball room, though, her stance showed no weakness. She stood up straight, eyes gazing through the crowd. Her jaw clenched as people deep in conversation walked past her. She walked forward again, eyes locked onto the far side of the room, and was making swift progress before bumping into someone. The princess. She turned quickly, but careful enough to not knock the mask from her face. Her arms reached out instinctively to catch the falling woman, a small nod towards her as she did so. "so sorry ma'am, i wasn't quite looking where i was going" She painfully said.

Ander's caught the small smile from the princess, returning a small smirk. She had known the others would talk to her in confidence, showing off their many assests, desperate for the honour to marry the princess. She had been taught by another servant to speak, confidently and fluently, previously sluring her words and speaking as little as possible. She was prepared.

Her arms remained on the other girls arms, glancing to look at another man looking at the pair of them, a judgemental glare stabbed them. "can i take you for a dance my lady?" She questioned, returning and locking eyes. "i'm sure you are well annoyed with all the offers you have been given" She continued, an unusual smirk playing at her lips. "i bet a dance will keep them off your back for a moment" She finally finished.

Terry glanced at the other girl as she unpacked, unsure on why someone could be so optimistic about working. She had completed her high schooling, she was done. She was meant to go live her life freely, go travelling, just have a fun time. Yet she was here. Attempting to have fun. "Journalism" She replied rather coldly, even for her. She shook her head to herself slightly, taking a small breath, "you?" She questioned, continuing the small talk.

She had decided to major in journalism. It gave her the perfect opportunity to both travel the world and take photos. And she loved her camera. She had gotten her first camera when she was young, and from that day she always had it around her neck. As she grew up, it left the house less often, only on big occasions but that didn't stop her from becoming a very good photography. Now the travelling part of her had risen from her mother before she had passed. Her mother had once travelled the world, before she was born, and told her of the many stories she had.

Terry then began to unpack, opening her suitcase first and throwing what clothes she had into draws, wherever they could fit, the black and white pillow covers, sheets and blanket covers thrown onto the bed messily. She fished out her photography equipment, sitting her camera onto the bed side table, and trip pods and small bag of other bits and pieces in the corner of her side of the room. She then took out what photos she had bought. Most from previous years of partying, hectic scenarios where the images were mainly blurring but showed how fun those nights had been. She had endless photos of her and another girl, mostly of them exploring forbidden and private lands. The girl being her ex, Jessie. Though they had broken up some time ago, the two were still good friends, and would often get back together for a night or two, though it would never last. The two of them being extremely similar and it both annoyed them.

Terry didn't exactly get astrology. I mean yea, stars, sun, cool shit but then again people could say that about her own hobby. People could argue for her to live in the moment instead of taking photos of every little thing. She shrugged it off, only really tuning back in when she had asked her about groceries. "you're 20 right? so you can't buy alcohol, uh, if you can just grab a box of coke cans?" She questioned, fishing a $20 note from her pocket and handing it to her. "keep whatever change there is" She finished, turning back to her own stuff. As quick as she had started unpacking, she was already done. She didn't own much.

For a moment she was relaxed, content but then a knock at the door startled her. She already knew it was david, a guy he had met last year. They had hooked up, mainly because she hadn't hooked up with anyone for some time and it was a feeling she was craving. He of course knew she didn't particularly like guys, but they were friends nonetheless. Terry practically skipped to the door, she knew the what question was coming, he was like a messenger, telling her of all parties going down. Opening the door she smiled, throwing herself into his open arms, pretending to faint as he picked her up, like an old timey couple. They were dramatic for a moment before she was dropped. "yo, terry my man, party tonight, dylan's house, you chill?" David asked, receiving a nod from Terry before he looked behind her at the other girl, eyebrows raising at Terry. Terry sighed, turning to her. She knew what David wanted. "yo, Celeste wanna come party tonight?" She questioned.

Anders smiled, cheeks red from blushing though it being hidden behind the mask she wore. And when she was taken onto the dance floor she was taken by surprise. She didn't expect the princess to actually accept her offer, let alone lead her, after all she was the one who had approached. Anders lifted her other hand to rest behind the girls back, eyes occasionally glancing the crowd as they watched on. The silence between them felt awkward, and thinking back to the various lessons the other workers had taught her, she knew what to do. She took a deep breath, managing to both concentrate on dancing and speaking. "you're eyes" She started, instantly stumbling but regaining her footing. Her jaw clenched, a guilty look plastered on her face. "they're beautiful" She finally whispered, this time, her dancing near perfection.

Terry couldn't help but roll her eyes at the girls response, she hadn't known the girl was an RA but it wouldn't stop her from being her. If she wanted to get up her she could. "come on prig, get someone to cover for you or something" She moaned, though she had no need to even want her to attend the party. She knew David wanted her there. She knew David well, she david liked Celeste.

She left David to hold open the door, rummaging through the draws she had just sorted and fishing out a white jumper with the words Brooklyn plastered on the front and a picture of one of the many streets on the back. She slipped it on, pushing it down over her stomach. "it's the first day," She started, now taking off the beanie, flattening her hair and replacing it with a plain black hat. "you've gotta have some fun, and i know already that as soon as classes start, you won't be able to do anything else but study".

Anders returned the grin, pulling the other in closer with confidence. "i had a few friends teach me" She stated giving the princess a small wink. She took another deep breath, the movement and feeling of the girl felt natural to her. She held the silence for a moment, jaw clenching as she weighted the option of telling the princess who she was. She couldn't.

"i'm not like anyone in this room" She mumbled, shaking her head. "i don't have money, i'm some daughter of some king and queen, i'm no one". She finished, almost as if she was warning her.

Anders couldn't help but blush, her rosy cheeks spreading over her whole face as they swayed. Anders hadn't ever really talked to the princess in such a way before. She would give the girl an occasional nod as she walked, a small "sorry" and "here miss" every now and then but no conversation. But she enjoyed it. Previous she had been reluctant to even support the royal family through anything, though she had the urge to protect the princess. She took a deep breath, eyes skipping over the crowd before catching the kings glance. She looked down quickly, before returning to look at him as he stood and began to walk out of the ball room. She gulped, heart beginning to beat faster.

She turned to Jeanette, hand lifting from her back and stroking her cheek for a moment before turning. "i'm sorry, i have to go" She muttered, waiting a moment before turning, dashing through the crowd, avoiding people where she could. Reaching the hall way outside the ball room, she broke out into a sprint, running loudly through the corridor, only skidding to a stop in front of her own dusty small chambers. She ripped off her suit, hiding it under her mattress and chucking on some old clothes she had been wearing during the day. She flipped off the mask, rubbing her face and rubbing her hair. She then took off out of her chambers again, she was meant to be cleaning and if the king was coming to check up on her, she would be screwed. She managed to get to the princess' quarters before he did. Acting as if she was preoccupied making the bed as he walked in. Receiving a small nod from him before leaving. She drew a small breath in accomplishment that she hadn't been caught though she couldn't help but think back to the princess.

Terry gave her a smile. "yes, right cool" She said, glancing over at David who now had a gleaming smile plastered on his face. Terry stepped to the door, giving david a smile before closing the door in his face, "gotta get her dressed" She called out to him before facing her. "you got any comfy clothes, like a basic t-shirt and long jeans? a jumper maybe, it gets cold" She spoke, walking over to the girl's wardrobe and peeking in.

"also, when you're there, i would keep close to me" She stated as if she had given the speech a thousand times."i'm sure you know some of the types of kids here, and some of them can be bad" She continued. "if someone tries to ya know, touch ya or anything just come tell me or David, well sort things out" She stated, now turning around to face her.

Anders fitted the blanket onto the bed, placing the pillows neatly against the head board and rubbing her hands together. She still had lots to do but she was still attempting to catch her breath after the run. She turned to one of the shelves against the wall, grabbing the duster by its side and waving it over the wood, careful to not knock anything off, but being careful to get every spec.

She was perfectly content on what she was doing, she had done it a thousand times before, but when she heard the footsteps approaching the door, her face flustered. It was the princess. Why was she back so soon?. She played it cool, taking a deep breath, focusing on looking like she hadn't know the girl approaching.
