hello! i'm renaismic and i'm in the process of making my new character, lovetheory, and thought it'd be best to get a plotting thread up for him! i apologise in advance since this is a bit of a mess if anything needs explaining regarding his main plot then feel free to ask for clarification!
i'm in the process of doing his tags but as a summary for him, lovetheory is a 22 month old domestic feline, rather small for his age with soft gold eyes and brown fur, darker brown freckle markings scattered across his cheeks. he is probably the biggest sweetheart ever and although he's not too shy to spit out bitter sarcasm, he genuinely does care about anyone and everyone that he comes across even if they're mean to him. it takes a lot to get on his bad side, love being able to forgive nearly anything. he isn't exactly the picture of nonchalance however, he is quite easy going for the most part and therefore extremely easy to get on with.
he's not actually in a group at the moment but, if you see his main plot below, i was thinking that he could join the group of any potential love interests/his potential genuine love.
note: lovetheory is homoromantic which means that in regards to romance, he's only going to fall for males however he is pansexual so plots could arise around that!
main plot
lovetheory is a hopeless romantic through and through. he has a very damaging habit of falling in love too easily but never saying anything as he fears rejection and does not want to be the cause of any ruined relationships. to quote third, the character that i take inspiration from for love: 'the main reason why it's so hard to confess your love to a friend, it's the fear of rejection. at least, it's better to be friends than nothing at all'. his mentality is that he would much rather keep his friends and suffer alone with unrequited love than to ruin things and lose the ones that he loves.
the kind of love that i'm definitely 100% open to is for one-sided love on his part, especially if it's him falling for someone who could not care less about him or his feelings. being the naive boy that he is, lovetheory would be completely oblivious to the lack of genuine care and his innocence makes it very easy for him to be led along into falling head over heels for another simply if they show an interest in him. for anyone that he falls for, they could even become aware of his feelings but not let lovetheory know that they know, using this knowledge against him to get him to do whatever they want since he would be willing to go to great lengths to make them happy. these relationships, however, will all end up heartbreak.
he is entirely open to love however, genuine love will be something quite long term and potentially extremely angsty. ironically, while he is off falling in love with those who do not care at all about him, i was thinking that he could become best friends with someone who ends up falling for him but he doesn't actually realise it since he believes that they only care about him in a strictly platonic way. although i'm open to this, i might be a bit picky? but only because i really would want it to be something that happens over an extended period of time.
outside of his main plot, he's also open to nearly anything else other than death or severe maiming. feel free to suggest anything and i'll be more than likely to say yes!
