"Pythonstrike?" The voice of the deputy would sound as the silver tabby and her patrol of NPCs' paused on their way back to camp. A soft frown of confusion would touch Moonwatchers face as she walked over and tilted her head, "What are you doing out here? Don't you smell the storm coming?" Her tone was simply curious, as the last thunderstorm that passed over their home had caused the warrior some distress and so it was odd to the deputy that she was out and about when the weather was turning. It would be then that she would spot the kitten on the ground and Moonwatcher would blink in surprise, "A kit? Where did you find them?"

"Well, aren't we a spirited bunch today?"

The smooth voice of the deputy would sound from behind the group. Her pale yellow eyes would flicker from Grey, to RedGhost, to Darksage, and finally to her son Mintpaw. She would stop just beside her kit and would blink at each warrior in greeting as she smiled, "Are we having a bit of sparring practice? Mind if I join in?" A soft glow in here eyes could be interpreted as curiosity and a bit of a challenge to the toms.

The Thunderclan deputy would listen with narrowed, thoughtful eyes as both Sorrelstar and Pitchstar spoke. Once Pitchstar said his piece, the silver tabby would step forward, dipping her head to the leaders who had gone before her, "Thunderclan shares in both your joys and your grief. As stated before, this Leaf bare was a harsh one for ALL of the clans, whether it be starvation, disasters, or the loss of loved ones. We are all mortal cats, and I feel the ache to remind every cat here, that the clans are all part of one larger picture. If one of us fails and is lost, the others suffer." Moonwatcher would look down at the crowd of cats before her as she continued, "Thunderclan is doing well by Starclans blessings. As many of you know, our forest was burned down due to the acts of one evil cat, but that time as come and gone and we look forward to new beginnings and a time of peace." She would state the last word with a bit more gusto then the rest of her speech, making a point to state her opinion on whatever wars were possible to start, "We have welcomed four young cats into the coveted rank of Warriors, one of them is here tonight, CinderHeart. We have also named some new apprentices as well as welcomed newly born kits. We are strong and thriving." Moonwatcher would then step back to allow Nightstar to speak.

looking for your lover, forest kitty?

Pale moons would narrow slightly at the black and white she-cat who would stride up to her next. "No." Her reply was only a fraction of a lie, she still missed Asphodelpaw achingly, but he had not come to her, and she assumed he never would unless she truly looked for him, unless she really needed him. "But Asphodelpaw is as little as you are kind. It pains me to know he believes he deserves such an after life, and I will tell him such myself if I happen upon him. But my love is not who I seek tonight." She would looked down at the she-cat in soft curiosity as she spoke before she moved so she could face all three forest cats properly, her head still held high, "I have come here looking for a tom named Dolorem, and the information he took with him to his death."

A purr would erupt from the silver tabby as she wrapped her paws and tail around her beautiful daughter. Though she didn't often had the opportunity to express it, the deputy adored her kits. They were the only physical embodiment's of her and Asphodelpaws' love for each other. Each of them were so smart and talented, so bright and a source of light in her otherwise cold and anguished world. So as she pulled her daughter to her, she had to grit her teeth in the grief that threatened to swallow her whole. After several moments of simply holding Heatherpaw, she collected herself enough to look down at her and smile lovingly, "Are you free for a moment? I have a gift for you."

Moonwatcher would sigh, attempting to recollect the remainder of her emotions as she smiled weakly, "Of course you can.....So much has changed since you were last home..." She would trail off as she looked down at her paws. Could she still be as honest with Zephyrstream as she had been before? Was that possible? Or should she be on her guard since he had been gone for so long? Her throat ached to spill her soul out to her old friend, yet her pale yellow gaze would simply glow in warmth, as it always did, "Where did you two end up going?"

She blinked in disbelief as the tom shot her a goofy grin and then she stuttered, "I...what....WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" She hadn't meant to shout, but in her shock she had also momentary lost control of her voice volume. She would clear her throat as she reigned her emotions in once more and meowed a bit more reasonably, "And where is Nightpaw? Didn't she go with you?"

So her assumption had been correct then. Moonwatcher would blink as two she cats approached her, one a dark brown tabby, and the other a jet black that almost hid her in the forests darkness. She was sure that her silver pelt stood out some, and yet maybe the tendrils that adorned her body helped in a way. As both cats finished speaking the deputy would meow politely, "I came here to find someone." Her tail would flick once I'm apprehension as she continued, "I assumed this was the Dark forest, so I came here as this was the best place to find him." Or so she hoped.

    Why was she here?....

Moonwatcher would grumble that to herself as she opened her eyes and found herself in Starclan once more. It had been almost a moon since her last visit, and it wasn't exactly a good memory. Strangely a lot had changed since the last time, and the silver Molly would simply sigh and groom her chest fur before look around. Still as empty and silent as she remember it. It wasn't that she hated coming here, but she saw no point in it now, HE wasn't here. Something in her soul told her that much, so why? Moonwatcher would decide that instead of simply waiting around for some starry ancestor to show up, she would explore.

Her pawsteps would be silent, barely feeling the silver grass that perfectly matched her pelt as she walked. But something seemed off...it was as if she had found a border and on the other side....it was dark...foreboding...menacing.

Every cell in her body told Moonwatcher to turn away, to go back to the safety of the star covered forest. But she was intrigued. And so, she took a deep breath and stepped over the border. Immediately the light went away, like someone snuffing out the sun, and she was thrown into a black forest, where she felt eyes on her in every shadow. She would swallow hard, her heart hammering in her chest as she looked around thoughtfully. Was this the Dark Forest? The Thunderclan Deputy would shake out her fur and start walking once more, maybe she would find something interesting.

Moonwatcher had been on one of her infamous solo patrols. The Thunderclan deputy would be remarking one of the borders that marked the end of Thunderclan territories near the two leg place. At first, her mind was clouded with her memories of her dream. The dream where Apshodelpaw had come to her in Starclan, only to cruelly slip away just when she was about to reach him.

It would be the scent of a loner that jolted her out of her foggy mindset, and she would frown as she spotted a figure seeming to be waiting for something at the borderline. Moonwatcher took a deep breath, bracing herself in case this newcomer was a threat and trotted forward, "I hope you understand this is clan territo-" She would cut off as the face of the loner became clear and she almost stumbled in her steps as she halted, "Z....Zephyr?..."

She would chuckle good naturedly at the state of Rulindil as he sped into the medicine cat den where she had took up shelter. She would raise a paw to shield herself from the few drops that headed her way as he shook out his pelt and then smiled warmly at the tom, "Fairing well enough, considering the current weather." The deputy would rise to her paws and move over to join him where he sat and tilted her head, her left paw rising once more to point at his wet pelt, "May I?" It wasn't often she offered to clean another clan members pelt. If one thought hard enough about it, they would realize she had not done so since Asphodelpaws' death. She wasn't sure what stirred her impulse to assist her clanmate, but she wasn't really thinking about reasons.

Pale yellow eyes would watch the storm as it raged around camp. The silver tabby had taken refuge in the medicine cat den, since that was the closest shelter to her after her hunting patrol. It wasn't so much that she was scared of the storm, or that she disliked getting wet, in fact she rather liked the sound of the thunder and roar of the wind around them, it helped her remember her humble place in the world. Still, the deputy knew that she had to remain healthy, and getting soaked to the bone wouldn't help matters. So there she sat, watching as the trees above them moved to and fro precariously from the strength of the wind, and she watched as her clanmates, warriors and kits alike, headed for cover from the chaos.

Curious pale yellow eyes would follow the sudden movement caused by Darksage rushing out of camp. The deputy would excuse herself from her conversation with a couple of NPCs' and would follow Mangle a tad slower after the mute cat. Once she reached them, she would clear her throat to get their attention, "Darksage, Mangle, is everything alright?" She would turn her concerned glowing hues to the dark pelted warrior and meowed gently, "Did some cat say something to you?"

The next voice to touch her ears would be none other then Rulindil. Her whiskers would twitch in curiosity as the tom spoke, and she mentally noted that she hadn't really seen him hanging around any of the other clan cats as of late. Her tail would swish behind her thoughtfully until she finally nodded and meowed, "Rulindil, I'd like you to host a meet and greet for the clan. Count up all of the new cats, including yourself, and report to me with your findings. Its' time Thunderclan began acting as a family again."

"They are beautiful names, Flameseeker." A familiar warm meow would sound from the entrance as the Deputy made her appearance. She had been out on a patrol when her friend had been giving birth, and a tinge of regret caused her paws to hurriedly carry her towards the nursery. She had been there for her friend for her first litter, both of their firstborns so close together in age made Moonwatcher feel a particular bond with the ginger molly. And she had missed it. The silver tabby would clear her throat at the cats gathered and she noted the slight discomfort in Flameseekers gaze before speaking, "Perhaps it would be good to give the mother some space, hm?" Her tone was a suggestion, but simply a gentle order as she smiled in friendly affection, "Congratluations Flameseeker, They are truly beautiful."
