Moon would come to a stop at the top of a tiny hill where Featherpaw would be able to see a better view of Thunderclan and beyond. She would turn and smile down at the she-cat beside her and meow warmly, "Of course I will teach you. I am your mentor after all. We will reflect on one code a day. That way if you have questions we can focus on them." Moonwatcher would then turn to face Featherpaw and meow a little more seriously then before, "On that note, the first code we learn is, "Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle." She would then smile to Featherpaw and purr, "In line with that, Come, we are going to the sandy hollow to begin your battle training."

Moonwatcher was actually pretty excited for this announcement, the silver tabby would leap into the meeting root and meow loudly so her clanmates could hear her, "Thunderclan! Bloodclans' new leader WildSeas had extended an invitation to their Spring Feast as a notion of good will. I understand that most of you are hesitant to trust this the city dwellers, so I am asking you to trust me as your deputy. I myself will be attending this feast, and would like if a couple of you came along as well." She would look around at the cats that had gathered before her and then nodded gently, "Those who wish to go with me, we will be leaving momentarily. Please meet me at the camp entrance." The Deputy would then leap down from the root and move to wait by the entrance.

A silver tigress would stalk forward behind the gentle frame of Laurelpaw. Golden hues glimmering in the afternoon sunlight as the Deputy of Thunderclan settled beside her younger sister and dipped her head warmly, "Lavenderskies, it's good to see you." Her ear would twitch in amusement at Breezepaw and Orangepaws' interaction with Laurelpaw and she purred softly to her fellow deputy, "You're apprentices are growing strong. How are things in Skyclan?"

The sound of rain would be what slowly summoned Moonwatcher from her sleep. The deputy picking up her head and blinking away the exhaustion from the events of the last couple of days as a huge yawn parted her jaws. She would cast a look around at the sleeping bodies around her, a soft affectionate smile on her face. This was her family, even if some of them disregarded her and her position as deputy, she would give her life for any one of them. That was the motivation that got her to her paws every morning, and gave her a small semblance of peace at night. And with that thought in tow, the silver tabby would lightly stretch, being careful not to disturb any of the sleeping cats around her and started towards the den entrance.

Once outside, she would lightly wince in soreness as rain drops tapped her head and shoulder, her wounds from the rat fight still stinging if she moved a certain way but she was grateful that there wasn't an infection to worry about yet. She knew that Heatherpaw would rather she rest, but she had duties to attend to. So after a quick grooming (a weak attempt to bring some form of order to her now wet pelt) She would trot up to the meeting root and meow loudly, "Good Morning THunderclan! Please come forward for duties and Patrol assignments."

Moonwatcher would listen to the tom speak with understanding in her gaze. After a moment she would nod lightly and meow gently, "I believe they are worried that you are right in your claims of trying to change. Most cats do not like change." His question would catch her a bit off guard and she would blink in surprise, "Oh...Well..." She would blush under her pelt as she looked away, choosing to stare up at the moon instead of meeting the toms emerald green eyes. "Yes and no....Things in Thunderclan have..changed...And not for the better.." She looked down at her paws and her ears flattened against her skull as her gaze darkened in what appeared to be grief. "My life...It's been out of control every since I was an apprentice. Lost my mother to my father, lost the love of my life because of a moment of selfishness. And now, this group that cat Spectre leads, they brought an old friend of mine but also a new world of problems. I feel torn in what I should do, and if Blackstar even truly trusts me anymore.."

Moonwatcher had just been returning from a border patrol when she spotted Willowfoot coming out of camp. The deputy was still limping around herself, her injuries from their fight with the rats were still fairly new, but Moonwatcher couldn't bring herself to simply sit around camp like her daughter more then likely wanted her too.

A soft smile would adorn her maw as she dipped her head in greeting, "Willowfoot, nice to see you up and about today. Where are you off too?"

It was the touch that had snapped her out of it. She had not heard her name being called, had not felt the tremble of the log as another cat jumped onto it. But the nose to her still healing shoulder would be what would bring her back to the present. Golden hues would turn to meet startling green as the silver tabby blinked her inner thoughts away, as if she had been caught doing something she shouldn't be and was desperately trying to hide it away. "W....WildSeas?" Her voice trembled ever so slightly, her heart had been beating harder then she had realized and as such she had snapped out of her trance breathless and had to fight her body to relax. This was a friend...so why was she feeling like she needed to hide what she had been doing?

She would clear her throat after a moment and offered the tom a soft smile, "I was..just getting some fresh air...I suppose I needed some time to think." She woulf look him over gently and then meow gently, "What are you doing out here?..."

    Tired was an understatement.

Heavy paws would carry the figure of the Thunderclan tigress towards fourtrees, the place that had become like a sanctuary for her. After the incident with Adderstrike, and the blatant attitude towards her from the younger cats of the clan, Moonwatcher could feel her soul being chipped away piece by piece. Was it wrong? To care what her clanmates thought of her? Was she wrong to feel hurt and belittled and ostracized and just...

    Alone

That word alone caused a shiver to go up her spine, her fur rising as she grit her teeth. She nearly ran into the log that lead to fourtrees because she had squeezed her eyes shut so tightly that when she did reopen them, she saw small stars in her gaze.

Her muscles rippled as she launched herself unto the solid wood. Ivory claws sank into the bark of the fallen tree and she looked ahead, taking note of the smooth portion that had been worn down from generations of warriors and leaders and apprentices. She would follow the path, her gaze every so often slipping to look down at the water below. At first, it was to keep from falling, trying to keep balance, but soon, she would stop moving.

Her golden hues would stare at the rushing waters below, and for a moment, it was almost as if it was calling to her. How bad would it be? To fall and slip into the water, would Thunderclan care? Would any cat? They would simply replace her with a new deputy, probably belittle them too. Or maybe they would do better then she was doing now.

Moonwatcher would slowly fold into a sitting positon on the log, the moonlight overheard turning her pelt a glowing white so she appeared as a ghost. When had it all gone wrong, she wondered to herself. She had been happy once. Had a mother who loved her, a father who taught her things. Was it her mothers fault? For hiding who little Moonkit was to the others? For lying to Dolorem, the tom who loved her, and tricking him into thinking that Moon was his kit. Perhaps, But the deputy had come to terms that her mothers death by dog at the paws of her supposed father figure was punishment for her lies.

The deputy would absent mindedly brush her tail along the long jagged scar that ran down the length of her belly. She always wondered if she was meant to die that day, saving her friends, sacrificing herself for the tom she loved. Was that why Starclan seemed to reject any piece of peace and happiness she had managed to find. Was Asphodelfields' death her fault? She had hurt him so many times, never meaning too, but doing so anyway.

    Would her kits miss her?

Moonwatcher would flatten her ears ever so slightly at that thought. All of her kits except for Heatherpaw had vanished as the weeks went by. Starclan only knows where they had gone. Was that part of her punishment too? Her own personal turmoil for not dying when she should have.

The water looked to calm to her, so accepting, Thunderclan would be alright, wouldn't they? Yea....They'd be alright...besides, maybe her mother was waiting for her...

The deputy would simply blink slowly at the warrior. She knew he was simply trying to get a rise out of her, trying to ruffle her fur into snapping at him and making an emotional fool of herself. But it would not work this time. To be fair, Moonwatcher was getting really tired of all of this. The attitude that had surfaced in Thunderclan since Lambstars' reign, and had only worsened with Blackstars leadership (or lack thereof). So she would let the tom speak, and when he was done she would meow calmly, "Noted Adderstrike, now get moving and report to Blackstar after Heatherpaw has tended to you."

She would then turn her attention back towards the Bloodclan cats and dipped her head, "Thanks again Wildseas." The silver tabby would then turn and walk back to camp.

It was hard to remain calm as she listened to what Adderstrike had done. The deputy would take a deep breath, as if to center herself before her eyes snapped open again, smoldering dangerously despite her icy calm voice. "Adderstrike. Go home and find Heatherpaw so she can tend to your wounds." She would wait for the tom to abide by her orders before turning to Wildseas, she looked different this time. The normally kind tabby would appear like a tigress, dangerous and emmitting an aura that one could easily read as 'do NOT aggitate'.

"Thank you for bringing Adderstrike home, Wildseas. I will report this behavior to Blackstar and he will be dealt with appropriately, you have my word. Please send Ruth my apologies as well."

"Good morning you two." Moonwatchers voice would sound behind the pair as the deputy walked up and smiled at them both warmly. Her golden gaze would move to the objects the two cats were talking about and she tilted her head curiously, "What do we have here?" She would step forward and lightly sniff one of the items, her nose wrinkling slightly as the scent of two leg was still lingering on it.

"Hold your tongue, Adderstrike." The deputy would materialize before the group, her golden hues, normally warm and polite, had darkened several shades. What had the tom done this time? He had been doing so well, Moonwatcher had hoped that by putting more faith in him, that he would become a strong and dependable warrior that she knew he could be. But the wound across Wildseas' face, and the smug expression on her warriors, only caused her anger to roll over in her gut as she narrowed her gaze, "Wildseas, what has happened?" She would shoot her warrior another warning glare, in cause he attempted to try and explain himself instead and then she turned her head to face the Bloodclanner. "Did Adderstrike do that to your face?" Great, just when Moonwatcher had finally found some common ground with the city dwellers, this had to happen.

Well she would be lying if she said it didn't hurt like hell by the time her patrol returned from their mini war at the Bloodclan border. The Thunderclan deputy would be leaning against Rosewater, scarlet blood dripping from a wound on her left shoulder and from another bite on her hind right leg. Moonwatcher would look around at her patrol to make sure they were all accounted for before sighing heavily from exhaustion and half laying/half flopping onto the floor of the clearing. "Sunspots, see if you can find Blackstar and tell him what has happened. Shimmerpaw, go and grab Heatherpaw please." She would each of her patrol an encouraging smile as she purred, "You all fought well, I'm proud to be your deputy."

A small pit was growing in her stomach despite her otherwise upbeat attitude. Snow and Heatherpaw were going to murder her for not being more careful.

Moonwatcher would open her maw to reply to Rosewater, an attempt to hopefully soothe the young warriors nerves, when a younger cat suddenly appeared before. She would listen to Viperpaw as he listed the herbs he was using and their properties, and a small smile would clear some of the pain from her gaze. "Thank you young one." Her voice would be a slight purr as he finished and she carefully rose to her usable paws, "Your clan must be proud to have such a talented healer." She would then dip her head to Ruth and the other bloodclanners, "Thank you all again for your help, Blackstar will be as grateful as I am. Shall we head home then?" She would direct the last question to her clanmates, leaning lightly against Rosewater for support and nod for Sunspots to lead the way home.

"Ruth? WildSeas?" The familiar mew of the Thunderclan deputy would come from their right side and Moonwatcher would limp over to greet the pair. Her shoulder and hind leg covered in cobwebs and strong with the scent of herbs. The silver tabby would attempt to sit, half laying down in the process and she would smile at thtem warmly, "What brings you here? Is all well in Bloodclan?"

"Shh settle, Rosewater..." A soft yet exhausted smile would form on the deputys' maw, pain flickering like flames in her molten gaze. "Don't worry now, I'll be alright." I hope....

The Deputy would leave that last part unspoken, but she wasn't stupid enough to believe that she was impervious to any infections or dangers that the rats may have been carrying. She would turn her gaze to the others, counting them before sighing in relief, "No, They all appear ok." Her gaze would turn to Ruth, Wildseas, and Alexi with gratitude, "My injuries might have been much worse if you had not helped us. Thank you." She would listen to their concerns about her injuries and then meow calmly, "I will accept the healing, but only enough to get me to camp. The others must be wondering what happened to us by now." She would heave herself to her paws, scarlet now staining her previously glowing silver and she would wince lightly as the sting of the wound began to become more and more insistent. "Rosewater, Please take the apprentices back to camp and report to Blackstar, Sunspots and I will follow shortly."
