Asphodelpaws' voice stirred Moonwatcher from her sleep. After talking to Blackstorm and Hollow, the young warrior felt better about what had happened. She got up and slipped out of the warriors den and padded over to sit where she could clearly see and hear their medicine cat.
You look so different...
The thought ran through the young mollies head as he pale yellow eyes looked up and seemed to look her friend over in a mixture of trust and determination. Yes, he may look different, but Moonwatcher knew that he was strong. She cursed herself for not going to him sooner and knew that she should talk to him before the anything worse happened, but it never seemed a good time. And now there they were; Asphodelpaw on the high rock calling the clan together for a meeting none of them ever thought they would be a part of. The silver tabby lashed her tail behind her and sat tall, hopefully showing her friend that she was ready to fight, ready to fight with him and the others to bring ThunderClan back to its' rightful glory among the other clans.

Moonwatcher shook her head and meowed gently, "Time sure does fly around here, doesn't it?" Truthfully, Moon wished time flew a bit faster. She had watched Snow all through her kittenhood and now that she was a warrior, she wanted what her mother had. A mate who loved her and kits that she could raise and teach to be strong and respected warriors of ThunderClan.
Moon looked down at Starkit who was sleeping peacefully in Snows' chest fur and blinked as realization dawned on her that she and Starkit haven't actually met yet. Whiskers twitching in small guilt she rose to her paws and stretched, "I'm going to grab some prey to eat, Thanks to Asphodelpaw my appetite is finally coming back. Do you want me to bring anything back for the kits?"

Moon nodded softly, and brushed her tail against Snows' side as the white mollies eyes clouded with worry when they landed on the nursery. Was she worried about Petalkit and Stonekit? Moonwatcher also wondered where Slatepaw could be? Of all her adopted siblings she was closest to Slatepaw in terms of friendship. Though Moon would be lying if she said she wasn't a least a bit jealous of her sisters mate, Lambstar. She missed spending time with Slatepaw, but ever since she and Lambstar started dating, it was as if MoonWatcher didn't exist anymore. She shook her head to clear away her depressing thoughts and turned to pad over to the fresh-kill pile. She grabbed a decent sized rabbit and after looking around camp, turned back and placed the prey before Snow so she could eat first, "Hey Snow....have you seen Slatepaw lately?"
-
MoonWatcher shook her head and stepped foward the rest her head on Snows in an attempt to comfort her, "Shhhh, Shhhh, Slatepaw is fine. I'm sure she's just with Lambstar being all gross and lovey dovey and stuff." She had meant for the words to come out in a playful manner, but instead there was a bitterness to it that surprised even Moonwatcher. She stepped back and blinked as she stammered, "I...I'm sorry, Snow I....I didn't mean to say it like that I just..." Her ears flattened and she looked away, not able to meet her mothers gaze.

Moon hesitated for a moment before nodding and settling back down beside Snow. She took a bite and chewed it thoughtfully as she stared at the camp clearing. When had life become so complicated?....What had happened to the days when she and Slatepaw could go hunting together? Or the days that she and Asphodelpaw could just argue with each other? She sighed as she swallowed her food and laid her head on her paws, tail tip flicking softly as she drifted farther into her thoughts.

firefly!
OH LAWD THAT CAME OUT AWESOME!!!!
-
Moonwatcher looked at Snow without moving her head and shrugged softly, "Just thinking about how life used to be.....if I'll ever find a mate or have my own family..." she blushed lightly under her pelt but she knew that if she could talk to any cat it was Snow.
-
"And what do we have here?"
A silver tabby padded forward, interrupting the apprentices arguing. MoonWatcher glanced at each of her friends before her gaze settled on Firepaw and Stonepaw. So they were a thing, huh? She would have been happy for the pair were it not for their current situation.
"Firepaw, interesting to see you again." Her tail swayed behind her as she meowed in a calm yet undeniably stern tone. Her pale yellow eyes then flickered over to Stonepaw and her brothers, along with Lightpaw, "Woud any of you mind telling me why he is here?"
Firepaw should have known better, or maybe he did and just didn't care. Those new scars adorning his head, face, and body proved that he had already been through hell over in BloodClan, and a tiny spark of sympathy showed in her gaze for her former friend. But her had made his choice. And now he would have to face the consequences, whatever those may be.

Moonwatcher walked into camp, another bundle of herbs in her jaw. She placed the bundle down to yawn and fight back the urge to sneeze from all the smells and flowers that had tickled her nose the whole way back home. MoonWatcher was going to talk to him. If to do nothing but to see how he was holding up in the midst of all this chaos and to see if there were more herbs Asphodelpaw needed that she had failed to collect. After taking a steadying breath and grabbed her bundle again and calmly walked into the medicine cat den. She looked around the dimly lit space and dropped the herbs at the entrance of his storage room before meowing, "Asphodelpaw? I brought some herbs you might need." She would be lying if she had said she wasn't nervous to see him face to face for the first time since everything had gone to hell. Her tail tipped flicked back and forth, the only sign that she had a little anxiety over the whole thing as she waited to hear a response.
Asphodelfield.

Moon listened as each cat spoke in turn and then looked at Stormpaw. What was going through her mind as these toms all growled and hissed around her? The warrior meowed gently to the female apprentice, moving to place a tail on her shoulder in a gesture of friendship, "Stormpaw, what do you think about all this?" She knew all of these cats before her were smart enough to make their own decisions, but deep down, MoonWatcher hoped that Stormpaw would refuse, to tell Firepaw that these visits had to end and to stop risking both of their lives.
//Sorry short post.

Moon offered a soft smile to Snow in gratitdue, "I will...I just..." Her cheeks flushed slightly as she meowed, "I see Lamb and Slate, and you and Blackstorm and you all look so....not alone. I guess I want that.." Her ears flicked as she tried to find the right words to express what she was feeling to her mother, "It's like, I know I have you and Blackstorm...but....I'm your daughter, and I'm his niece so..it's expected for you to care for me. Is it selfish of me to want to be loved by some cat that isn't family? A tom who'll stand by me and support me when I...." She faltered and cleared her throat, not wanting to bring up her depression in this conversation. No, that was a topic for a different day. Or maybe never. She shook her head again before smiling her usual warm smile at Snow and shrugged, "But you're right. Maybe i'll find a mate in time."
-
She was ready.
Moonwatcher watched with a small glint of pride as Asphodelpaw and Blackstorm stood before them, both looking strong and determined as they addressed their clanmates. So it was all finally beginning. A shiver went up the mollys' spine as the threat of BloodClan was made apparent, but instead of dread MoonWatcher felt...thrilled? Her ears flicked in surprise as she felt excitement course through her paws and down to her claws. She was ready to fight for her clan, and maybe, just maybe, she might find some fun in it as well. A part of her was scared of this new attitude, maybe she was more like her father then she cared to admit, MoonWatcher remained silent, but confidence was radiating off of her as she straightened, sitting proudly and looking all of the able bodied warrior that she had been trained to be. Her pale eyes were no longer warm and friendly, this whole situation had changed her in more ways then even she could explain. MoonWatcher looked deadly, her gaze now sharp and filled with anger that matched even Asphodelpaw. If it was a fight BloodClan wanted. Then a fight they would get.
-
Hurt flashed in her pale eyes before she shook her head. He was hurting in ways that Moonwatcher understood. She had felt the same way when she watched her mother be ripped to shreds before her eyes, she heard her mothers screams even to this day.The silver tabby gently stepped in front of the tom and meowed a calm yet stern tone to get his attention. "Hey, take it from some cat who knows. Putting walls up isn't gonna help you and it'll only numb you to details that you would otherwise notice." Her gaze softened slightly as she continued, "I'm sure cats have been telling you that it wasn't your fault and it sounds like Fox-dung. But ultimately they are right. Stop beating yourself over a situtation no cat could predict or control." MoonWatcher stood there and waited for his angry explosion, waited for him to call her names and tell her that she was wrong and how dare she tell him she understood. And she planned to bare it all.Even if he ended up hating her for. Because some cat would have too if Asphodelpaw was ever going to get better.
-
MoonWatcher followed her denmate until he asked where they should hunt, she nodded in agreement at his words before meowing, "To keep with our new 'no talking' order, we should technically avoid the border lines. We can try our luck in or near four trees. That way we can hunt freely on neutral ground and not have to worry about being questioned as to why we are there." She started to move and kept her ears open for any signs or sounds of cats. Blackstorm had said that BloodClan could come any day now, and the thought of those murderers in her home made her more angry then scared.
-
when they reached the log for then to cross she smiled back at Ravenfang in a playfully teasing manner, "Don't fall off, I dont want to have to bring you home soaked and have Silverstorm tear my ears off." Moonwatcher jumped up and padded over carefully and then jumped off on the other side, waiting for her clanmate to join her.
-
Moonwatcher let him go, but she watched him with sad eyes. She turned and walked out of the Medicine cat den and felt like a failure all over again. She sighed heavily before turning and walking outside to take a minute to herself. The silver tabby just let her feet take her to the edges of Thunderclan territory and laid down so she could watch and listen to the forest around her. She couldn't save her leader, and she couldn't even help the one cat in camp that she cared the most for. What use was she to the rest of ThunderClan? She looked up to where the stars were shining above her and she slightly whimpered, "What am I suppose to do, mom?..."
