    he felt the van creak as it came to a stop in front of lyn's house. hunter spotted her on the front doorstep, rolling his eyes when he spotted the birdcage. of course she couldn't leave him behind. seeing that she had not yet spotted him and seemed to be preoccupied with whatever she was scrolling through, he honked the horn in an attempt to scare her and perhaps the little budgie. he pushed zao out of the passenger seat where the german shepherd had been happily residing, into the back seat to make room for lyn. he figured she would not be happy sitting in the back whilst the dog sat shotgun. he then got out, opening the trunk in preparation for her bags.

    hunter responded with a chuckle, well, that was kind of the point, lyn. why did you even bring him along? he loved to mess with his friends just a bit, lyn's reactions had to be some of the best though. through the van, he could see zao's attention perk up as he noticed the screeching of the little bird. he tended to bring zao everywhere so the two had seen each other before but the dog tended to not be keen on the little bird. he did his best to tolerate him however, even though both him and hunter agreed on the fact that the budgie could be obnoxious.

    hunter shrugged, it's okay lyn. we'll make it work. are you ready? we gotta go get everybody else. we'll stop by jack's next. he hurried to get back into the driver's seat, starting the rusty old van back up. perhaps it was not the most reliable method of transportation for a road trip but to him, unpredictable events made trips that much more fun. the inside of the van had already resorted back to a boiling temperature after only being off for a couple minutes but it was not long before the ac once again blasted through the vehicle. he decided that next he would just leave the van running as an attempt to keep it cool inside.

    noticing lyn was enjoying the music, hunter turned it up a bit. it was one of his favorites, a very commonly known song. the ride to jack's house was slightly longer amounting to about ten minutes. the friends tended to be spread out around the town but the often visited each other. already missing his sports car, hunter groaned a bit at the in capabilities of the van, the acceleration was slow, the turning radius was large, and the van was incredibly bulky. he wheeled it around one last turn before they headed down the street that belonged to jack's house. he turned into the driveway before coming to a stop, spotting jack sitting outside as lyn had been.

    hunter groaned, no but i figured this would be better for a road trip. we'll be fine though. this trip is gonna be amazing even if it kills me. regaining his happy go-lucky compusure he recovered with a quick smile, have you got everything? we won't be able to turn around if anything was forgotten. you'll have to make do with whatever they have at the nearest gas station.

    hunter squinted, a common occurence when he was thinking about something, maybe to jay's house next. either him or ivy, both live pretty close to here. he nodded his head after making his decision, we'll head to jay's and then swing by ivy's right after. then we just need to get poppy and we'll be good to go! he was ready to get this trip on its' way. he had been planning it for a long time and getting everybody on board had been hard enough. he wanted to get everybody in the car before any of them had a chance to change their minds. he figured jay would be most likely to do so, so he wanted to get him in the van as fast as possible.
