Asumi felt her cheeks heat. Whether it was anger or embarrassment, or potentially both, it caused her to stand from Ichiro's leg and huff. She hadn't left the table, not letting any opportunity pass for freedom. Her presence continued to smother the air.

Ichiro's jaw clenched at the actions he was receiving from Asumi, irritated she would go so far to sit on his leg. It was passing a thin line he thought was protected, but apparently easily enough to slip through. He let out a frustrated sigh, brows drawing close to each other as his eyes narrowed. Deciding to leave Hanami's response to Asami as that, he ignored what had just happened by letting out a sigh and changing his demeanor. His shoulders lifted as he did. "I hope I get to see you both more than I normally should." He smiled a little. He glanced at Riku and discovered him still gawking at the scenario that just played out. He watched Riku shut his mouth and bite his cheek and decided to only brush this off as he was surprised, too.

Ichiro moved his lips and silently mouthed sorry to the two of them, not expecting what had just played out before each of them. Unfortunately, his day with Asumi was far from over. At least until third hour - which was long enough. The second hour of the day he had the same class with Asumi. The first hour, however, he had as kind of like a break. He sees her for breakfast, goes their own way for first hour, and sits beside each other in second. Thanks to Asumi, he was doomed to sit beside her for the rest of the year to come - unless something changed her mind altogether which seemed impossible.

// just letting you know, my activity might be wonky as my monitor for my computer has now decided it was finished. So until it gets replaced, I’ll have to be on my phone.

Ichiro nodded. “Riku and I normally do, so having you there during lunch will be equivalent to the past.” He smiled at the recollection of the memories. He felt as though between the three of them, memories came on a whim.

His gaze went down to his hands which had rested on the table and intertwined with each other before they unlocked and went for his phone. He took a glance at it, for the time, and let out a sigh. “I think we might as well go to class. Sorry if you were expecting breakfast, Hanami,” He stood from his seat, “we should have came earlier.” He mumbled, watching as kids were finding out the time themselves and scurrying off to their first class. Everyone sure was in a hurry to get to class, but no one wanted to be here.

Touma bounced from his chair, not saying a word of the situation between Asumi and the “three”. His eyes darted from Ichiro, to his sister, to Riku, and finally to Hanami before he could mutter out, “Ready to go to class?”. His eyes swept over the table almost as if he were trying to find something to do in such little time, like throw something away or flick a crumb. Whatever it was, he was ready to move. He wasn’t excited, but bored.

Oh! Ryuu’s age can be 20 years old.

“The king is sort of a wimp” haha, I love that!

On another note, I apologize for any inconvenience. My monitor decided it wanted to stop working this morning so I’m currently working with my phone for this. I don’t know when it’ll be replaced, but it won’t stop me from roleplaying!

Ended up going out today and getting one, but forgot to add both Mareike and Adelonda are incredible!

Is there a place you can think of for starting the rp? Did you want to have a separate thread for the actual rp or anything?

//Yeah, ended up going out today and getting one. Way better than my last at least!

Riku stood from his seat and pushed it in while smiling to the two of his friends. He couldn't agree more to Hanami's comment about the school's food, after all he ate breakfast with Mrs. Fujimoto and only wished he remembered to pester her about making him lunch. He never does, feeling as though it's more work than needed for her. He swat the thought of Mrs. Fujimoto's delicious food away from his thoughts and occupied it to Hanami and Ichiro as they were saying her farewells until lunch. He sustained himself from Touma and although he was wary of him, tried to acknowledge Hanami's strength and let the worry subside. He couldn't say Ichiro was doing the same since after all, from the corner of his eye he could see his friend stiffen slightly. He scoffed to himself quietly. Ichiro had always been there for him since his newly-found protective mode and now seeing him propel his protectiveness for Hanami, he couldn't let his laugh vanish. "Bye, Hanami!" He called after her as she left with Touma to her first class.

Riku moved around the table and joined Ichiro's side to bump his elbow to his. Ichiro, who had been lost in thought, jolted slightly and eyed him. He crookedly smiled to his friend, giving him a sympathetic look. "She'll be fine," Riku promised, "she's strong." He dug his hands into his pockets and squeezed his hands. He hoped he was right himself, he thought as he glanced up to see Hanami just disappear into the crowd of students. Ichiro and Riku were apart of the rear of the crowd of students to leave. Luckily, Asumi had left without anyone noticing. This only allowed Riku to sigh in relief to himself, realizing she always made his nerves on end. Although he always knew this, it only became an actual thought at this moment.

Touma trailed after Hanami and kept pace beside her. He shifted his bag on his shoulders to try and receive a better position for the weight of it. He glanced at Hanami and his brows knitted together in curiosity. From the conversation she had with Ichiro and Riku, he became interested. He let his eyes stare off at the army of students going different ways all over to get to class. Like a school of fish, they maneuvered, except with more of bumping shoulders and huffs from annoyed students. There were small spots where it would be more clear of students, but those moments in the hallway were always short-lived. "So," He mumbled, "you've been best friends with them since childhood? What were they like?" He inquired, giving another curious look at her.

That sounds great, and the title to rename it.. hmm.

I normally just do lyrics since that's what I base plots around, lol, but whatever you'd like it to be! ^^

Touma grinned as he tried to picture the almighty, famous Ichiro bickering over ice cream with the reserved, withdrawn Riku. And an added figure, the one that stood next to him. The seemingly kind, but not to be underestimated Hanami. His amber eyes stared at her as he laughed. "Ichiro sure doesn't forget now, does he?" He recalled as he continued his pace, although slowing down when someone tried to cross by or whoever slowed down in front of them. His eyes went back to watching where he stepped. He, however, continued to look over as she spoke to show he was listening. He held a grin the whole time. "You said you've just came back into town, right?" His eyes steadily looked her over before he looked ahead and grabbed both of his bag straps and pulled a little. "That means you don't know them now, how do you know they haven't changed?" His eyes continued to stare ahead. He begged to differ with her statement, knowing for a fact as he'd had his moments between the two - they didn't act like that; giving out stuffed animals after Ichiro finished one person to the next. Everyone could wish they did.

Sad ending, those lyrics were, but perhaps (if depicting from the song)..

    - "Once I took the crown to which I had been schooled and bred, I found it heavy on the heart, though light upon the head."

    - "The stars are very beautiful above the palace walls, but their bright, entrancing glow reminds me of the freedom I gave up so long ago."

Normally, that's how I do my titles for threads. They might be a tad long, though. Unless you wanted me to come up with a title by means through lyrics and making something up new! Sorry if I misinterpreted.

Touma smiled. "You really care about those two, huh?" He let himself pause as he tried to think more deeply about her words. They struck. "I'm envious." He mumbled more to himself, but it was aloud. He let out a sigh and continued on down the hallway. They had to turn to get to the other side of the hall, and in doing so it led to their class. He walked in first, but turned around to look at Hanami. He was quite jealous of their triangular friendship as it matched evenly on each side. "I may not know Ichiro, but I know what he's done." He mentioned with a half-smile. He stood in front of Hanami and he looked down at her. Whatever he was doing seemed to express cockiness.

Touma let out a sigh, feeling regret in his sudden comment. “Right, right.” He muttered as she walked off to her desk. He hesitated before he trailed off to his own desk which happened to be in the far back, but the same row Hanami was in. He threw his bag beside the chair and leaned back as he stretched his legs out. He however did occasionally glance over at Hanami, keeping his promise.

Riku sat at his desk, propping his arm up on the desk and leaning on it. He absolutely hated being here, but he was thankful his attention wasn’t uproaring as Ichiro’s. His gaze flickered from the window to the teacher and to a few students, wanting the time to pass faster.

Ryuu refused the order of his father to take a seat, instead he paced back and forth in front of his father's throne. The empty throne beside him added to his displeased attitude. This room, his father, the people and the fresh news he's received of the trade that screwed the Kingdom of Nyong made his skin boil from beneath. Was this the cost of losing his mother? Ryuu's narrowed, amber eyes brightly glowed of rage. His father's, or rather the King's pleads continued to piss him off. His eyes swept from the floor he glared fiercely at to his father in an accusing manner. "If only you had let me control the trades," He snapped, "this wouldn't have happened!" He let his right hand swing to his sheathed sword and squeezed it to control his anger. His left hand clenched into a fist which also showed off his strength, but also showed off the dragon tattoo that wrapped around his entire left arm. Most of the time, he'd hear the dragon tattoo fit perfectly with his personality which he couldn't disagree with as he would occasionally give it a good glance from time to time and could only imagine the spirit it brought with it. The dragon tattoo wasn't just a tattoo, but a mark he was given by priests of their Kingdom. All royal blood in the Kingdom of Nyong were given a symbol to wear at proper age, declaring the type of leader they'd be. It held great importance to their kingdom, but Ryuu found some of his people to be wary of his symbol.

Ryuu's eyes shut at the voice of his father, blocking him from his sight as he listened carefully. He allowed himself to focus on his breathing to let some of his rage slim down. "Ryuu, my eldest son," His father rasped, "you should have more faith in your younger brother." Ryuu's eyes fluttered open, depicting his words carefully. He remained silent as his father continued. "It was fault of the Slenia Empire that our trading has gone amiss. You cannot forget that from the report I specifically given to you myself."

Ryuu sighed as he allowed his hands to loosen. His right hand continued to rest upon his sword as he sustained himself from snapping any further. He had to remember his father was taking a great impact by ruling the kingdom all the while losing his wife. Piling to his troubles would only cause more destruction than necessary, however, he let his apology speak for itself among the long silence the both of them shared.

// I suppose we could skip to lunch then to the end of the day c:

Riku lifted his arms into a long stretch just before the bell rang to conclude the hour, but the beginning of lunch. His eyes waved around the class of students, watching as most of them left in a hurry. Then he, too, got up and tried to maneuver his way swiftly between the students. His way to the lunch room wasn't graceful, but no one complained about him. Whether it was because of Ichiro or because of them not caring, he was grateful of not being called out. He briskly entered the lunch room and searched the cafeteria for either Hanami or Ichiro. He frowned as he didn't see them. He let out a soft sigh and decided to wait.

// realized i misspelled Nayong in the last post - whoops!

"There is something I wish to share with you, though." Ryuu's father broke the silence that had been growing thick of regret. His gaze never left from his father as he propped himself up in his throne. His throne was much larger than the empty throne beside it, which happened to be another pet peeve of Ryuu's, but under his control there wasn't anything he could do. He remembered complaining to his father one day about the size difference, but his mother had interfered and promised it was perfect. His mother was the kindest living being he'd ever met and she never wanted more than she already had, but his father always forced new things to be sent to her. His parents were incredibly close and they really proved love to be magical, but the loss of his mother also proved love to be the most painful thing. Ryuu let such thoughts to be dismissed as his father spoke again. His expression wasn't promising. "As my eldest child, Ryuu, I have one request to make of you," His father's eyes shined in hope, "in order to refrain our kingdom and the Kingdom of Adelonda from shedding blood with each other, their King and I have proposed for both you and his youngest daughter to marry for the sake of our peoples' lives."

Ryuu hesitated at returning his own words. "A war? Marriage?" He inquired as his eyes burned into his father. "You haven't spoken a word of these things."

"Until now." His father replied calmly.

Riku gripped one of his straps to his bag as he stood there awkwardly in an open, but not too open, spot in the cafeteria. He silently hoped either of his friends would depict him from the crowd since he couldn't seem to find them, but he didn't lose hope in keeping an eye out. His attention was caught as he spun around to the familiar voice of Hanami. He felt some relief wash upon him as his shoulders slumped while she approached. "Hey Hanami," He replied nonchalantly, "class was boring as always. I really wish I had a class with someone I knew, but my hopes were apparently too high." He rolled his eyes, but a smile overcame his peculiar annoyed expression. His brow lifted, however, as he could hear the grogginess in her voice. He chuckled at this. "I'm going to assume your classes have been pretty easy so far."

"Search party for who?" Ichiro asked as he approached the two, casually looking up from his phone. He shut off his device and stuffed it into his pocket, eyeing the two. He rolled his arms as if they needed to be stretched and then dug his hands into his pockets. "Come on, let's go get lunch before it gets packed." He mumbled with a yawn. It wasn't close to the end of the day, but hee was already breaking to a point. Dealing with other people who called themselves his friend was a hassle for him, but he always got through it and never objected.

Riku looked over his shoulder, his laugh diminishing from the conversation with Hanami. "Gosh, I'm going to need mirrors to watch out behind me." He muttered.
