    INTRODUCTION --

Long ago, two cats from different Clans met. The father, from RiverClan, and the mother from another one. The mother had just gotten out a relationship, as her mate cheated on her. When the two met, it was love at first sight. They had loved each other for a long time, but they had grown distant after their first litter. The father was not happy, was not satisfied, so he began cheating on her, though due to his depression and his PTSD of being in so many battles. The mother grew angry and left her children, but the father “reconciled” and they had gotten back together.

They had loved each other once again, but the mother had gotten addicted, to sleeping around as well, as her mate had gotten possessive, and abusive. This was simply a downward spiral for their family, losing hope in StarClan, hating each other yet saying “I love you.” They were given one last chance for their love, another litter. Thinking that the mother could not get pregnant, they lost all hope. However, she did. To their surprise, they were little miracles from StarClan, or so the parents though. It appeared tragedy struck once more, their litter was preterm, premature. They felt as if they would’ve lost a child, but to their delight, they all survived.

However, the parents feel as if StarClan has told them to abuse their children, only in private, to retain the “perfect family” picture, the family that everyone should look up to, the abuse would make them stronger, guide them to their proper places, and that is where we pick up.

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

StarClan had watched over her, made her into a miracle of her own right. Born so, so early, she was never meant to survive. And yet, three moons, almost four moons later, her she was. She would stand, her blue-silver eyes shining in the starlight. These, these were the ones shown to save her-- who saved her from her imminent death the night she was born. Of course she would revere them. It was her first now she was out of the nursery, given her protective parents. She was told stories about how the night sky was so expansive, that not even a kitten's eyes could hold them all. How each star twinkled and shimmered, was so bright.

So, when the black smoke tripped, got up, dusted herself off, and took a peer at the sky, she was amazed. Her jaw dropped in awe, and her eyes twinkled shown in the stars. She sat down, taking it all in."It looks amazing..." She whispers quietly, inspired by these little dots in the sky.

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

A purr. It caused her to jump, her black hairs standing on end. The way she moved downward, the way she was suddenly eye-level with the kit. It had caused her to back up, shaking slightly. She had asked her something! Oh... oh. She should respond. Stammering, the black smoke remarks, "U-um yeah. J-just a bit o-outside the nursery. D-don't want me to get hurt! B-b-b-but... Yes, the stars are very pretty! I'm glad this is-is my first sight." She tried to look as normal as possible, even adding a small smile. It was obviously forced.

Well, it appeared that another one could not sleep. Hearing the soft pawsteps, Miraclekit was ready to dash into the nursery. What were these cats gonna do to her? Even if they were small, they were a lot bigger than she'd ever be! They could do what they wanted. However, their tones didn't suggest it. It was especially Minnowripple's that calmed the kitten, letting more of her fur rest and lay down. She watched as the gray warrior took a seat, and heeded her warning. "I w-would l-love going a f-full moon trip! A-and I'll be... be careful! K-keep m-m-my eyes out!"

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

Miraclekit could not get enough of the stars she saw on her first night out of the nursery. They were brilliant, gleaming, and shining. They filled her view and her own eyes held the beauty of Silverpelt in them. So, on another night, she slips out. Her pawsteps are quiet, almost like a mouse skittering by. She was so tiny, so small, that of course they would hardly make a sound. Her silver-blue eyes twinkled as the thoughts of fun she would have this night, just breathing in the cool, night air. Seeing white dots in a blackened sky, bits of purity in an impure world. She looks back behind her, making sure the nursery is quiet and no one has heard her before she lays down, looking at the stars. That was, of course until... some of them... moved? She gets up, ready to cause a ruckus. Was a StarClanner falling back down to them?

She begins running, running to get someone up. That is, of course, until she crashes into the nursery wall. "Oww..." she growls.

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

The kitten fumbles backward, shaking her head to clear her vision and to hopefully get rid of her headache. That’s when she hears the stray leaves of the small cat. And then she hears the gentle, quiet, voice. "Oh, hiya, Ashfolly!" She purrs. Despite her worry, the kitten tries to appear as fine. If others bumped into things, it couldn’t be too bad! "And I really like the stars, I like seeing them and you can only see them at night. Though it appears... one is falling?" The kitten meows in a questioning tone, pointing up to the shooting star.

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

Was everyone in this clan night owls? They sure seemed to be, with the amount of cats that was now crowding the kitten that could have been easily mistaken for a mouse. Next who came up was Tempestpaw, who seemed to be an amazing cat. And she didn't just say that because the two kinda looked alike. From what she knew, Tempest was a very kind-hearted she-cat. A Gathering , huh? "S-So, I won't be able to see it until I'm an apprentice, b-b-best case scenario? But that's so f-far from now!" Her voice held almost a pouting sense.

Well, it appeared her question got answered by the somewhat small cat, Ashfolly, who appeared to be thinking. Saying she would get the kitten up. For once, a genuine smile crept onto her face. "R-r-really? Oh! Oh, thank y-you so much!" The kitten purrs, about to get onto her paws.

That was, until she heard the voice of little Beekit. He did not sound happy, at all. He usually never was, so scared of things, and he was two moons older than she was! "Be-Beekit... look past how terrifying they are. Think of how pretty they are, how they fill a v-v-void with bits of light, so we can see. A-and appreciate that we are here to see th-them." Her meow was gentle, silver-blue eyes holding empathy. She knows what it's like to be scared, too.

Her gaze fell on Minnowripple, seeing bits of fur stand up. She watches her thick fur stand on end-- and realizes that she would have to talk to Minnowripple later. Too many people were around right now. It would do more harm calling her out right now. She turns her worried gaze away.

Yet another voice, and another kitten. What! How many kittens could be awake right now? She wanted some alone time. The anxiety was coming back, she felt a bit swarmed and she stood up for a brief moment, tapping her paws on the ground. Though, unlike her solid fawn friend, she was a believer. She believed that StarClan would hold all their souls. "W-w-w-welll... not f-for a l-long t-time. Some st-stars are d-dimmer than oth-others..." She trails off, biting her tongue.

She hadn't noticed her night owl father, the one who desperately wanted a picture perfect family. They would become one, at least on the outside. But shattering the frame would open one's eyes, let them see. As if his protectiveness over her extended to that frame, that it would never be broken. That was, until she heard more pawsteps and turned her head. For a brief moment, terror filled her eyes before she went back to pretending everything was fine. She was still a bit shaky, evening with the rasp and the loving words. She was still getting chastised, at least that is what she thought. "Um... M-mother is sleeping," she says, a sort of sheepish answer, and one that truly didn't answer his question. "Ah... o-okay. Af-After I'm done." Of course, now this meant that she would be by her ever so loving father all the time. This was simply proven when he sat down, gently laying his tail around the black smoke.

And, Miraclekit had a thought of waking her mother, but the way that Littlepond slept-- smiling, happy for once, Mira didn't want to ruin that. In fact, she thought her mother would have been sleeping. But nope. She had came out of the nursery, her voice seemingly fearful and it showed in her glittering gold eyes. She turned towards Mama, attempting to smile sheepishly. Uh oh. She was gonna be in trouble now. The black smoke nearly jumped when Littlepond touched her forehead with her nose, something a caring mother should have done. At getting scolded, though appearing gently, her tail and ears drooped and she meowed, "Okay... I won't go b-by myself a-again." With a warrior or someone else, on the other paw? Probably. Watching her call their father, Miraclekit nodded. Even if her father was... "different" than others, she would be happy to have his protective touch on them. "Y-yeah! It-It'll be f-fun, Papa!"

    I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

One thing Miraclekit lacked... motor skills. It took her longer than most kittens to even start walking and she stumbled and fumbled when she did. It made playing with other kits more difficult. And when she did, the others always had to slow down for her. She just felt like a burden. The black smoke didn’t get invited to much anymore.

Of course, being a kitten, she made mistakes as well. It came when she was playing a game of moss ball, something, for once, she was invited to. And she moved to catch it, accidentally tripping into the other kit. The kit seems to lose patience, huffing and walking away. "W-w-wait! I didn’t mean to t-trip. Oh, c-come on! I didn’t un-untangle the b-b-ball." She meows, a bit of begging in her voice.
