The world change had gone smoothly enough for others, but for some it had been nothing but terrifying.
Whatever had happened to the kitten, it had hit her hard. The kitten laid in the pine needles under the trees, bleeding from her forehead. She was unconscious and limp, but still breathing.

I would like to see the two of them interact at some point! They're both young so perhaps we could see if they work well together and befriend one another?

Abiliene stayed limp as Velvetpaw tried to pick her up, but the movement was enough to wake her up. Her head pounded against her skull, and she immediately let out a cry. Ow! Ow ow ow!
-
"Can you hear me?" The sound was a little distant despite being right up against her ear, but she could understand it. It was a question. Her head hurt her so much that she could hardly concentrate enough to speak, but she managed to nod her head. Yes, she could hear them. Who was it though? Abiliene didn't recognize the voice or her surroundings, but she didn't remember how she'd gotten here. She didn't remember what she'd been doing before she'd gotten here.
"Wh-Who, who..." The manx was having trouble speaking. Her words slurred and stuttered, and the movement of her jaw hurt. She didn't finish her sentence, and instead collapsed to the ground. The pine needles felt nice. She wanted to sleep.
-
"Stay awake...my name is...you're...safe with...I think." The words echoed through her head; distant and almost inaudible amongst the constant ringing in her ears. She didn't want to listen; she wanted to sleep, but her eyes opened and instead stared at the ground in front of them. Then suddenly she lurched to the side, mouth open as she retched up a thin stream of vomit. Abi fell back afterwards, but her head didn't hurt her so much anymore.
"M-My, my naaame… is Abii." She couldn't get her mouth and tongue to work right, so her words slurred together. "M-M-My h-head hurts.."

Hellhounds are still around! Frostsoul, I think, said that they were basically hounds to her, so they're allowed. Dunno about the 6 feet thing, but everything else is okay.
edit;; I'll ask real quick for clarification

// she has a concussion & there's a bloody impact wound above her right eye.
"My h-head." Her words were slurred, careful and slow, but delayed. She was at the mercy of the two, and she didn't even know their names. She forgot the one. Abiliene tried to stand up and managed to do so, but quickly sat down. It made her especially dizzy to do that.
-
Her head still hurt when she looked at something bright or moved her head too fast, but things were much better. The only thing was that she just couldn't remember things she might have done minutes before. Had she even done anything? She had no idea. It was incredibly frustrating, but she'd been told that it would improve with time. Hopefully that was the--wait, did he say it would or wouldn't improve? Oh no... she couldn't even remember!
The manx kitten was located in what was to be their camp, specifically within the castle hall itself. Abiliene could remember specific instructions to not overexert herself. She'd been told several times, by several different clanmates. At least they cared. Is it care? Or pity? She didn't know.

Rogues! Run! Hide! The kitten jolted to reality, and sprung to her paws. That itself caused her head to start throbbing again, so she immediately sat back down. No, wait, that's us. Uh, duh! The kitten looked around for the source of the sound, and was surprised to see the black cat she knew standing on some part of the castle. But what was her name? Ugh, she couldn't remember. This was so frustrating!
Then there was another, some sort of... wolf? It looked kind of cat-like, too. He spoke, but it didn't make any sense to her. Who was assuming leadership? Him? No, he wanted to be a "deputy." Who was the leader again?
-
Abiliene turned her head--carefully--to look for the voice. She recognized Vel, but couldn't quite recall her name. She was too ashamed to ask, so she just smiled and flicked her tail in a sort of greeting.
"Thank you!" She was quite hungry, but refrained herself from digging straight into it. "Schneeps says you've been healing well." Was Schneeps the doctor? That was his name. Schneeps, Schneeps, Schneeps! "Oh. Yeah, he did tell me that." Did he? Hopefully, uh, she didn't know the difference. "Thanks for uh, not letting me die." Then she dug into the mouse Vel had brought. It tasted really good. She was hungry.
-
Was she around here? Honestly, Abiliene had no idea. The last thing she remembered wasn't traveling to a pine forest. She remembered frolicking in a meadow. Then she remembered a loud noise. She couldn't remember where it came from or what it was, but then her memory jumped straight to being woken up in the pine forest. To her irritation, she just couldn't recall, but she did know where she lived.
"I lived in a den in the forest, with my mom and brother." She wondered where they were now. Were they alive? She hoped so. "Are you? Oh, wait, uh..." Of course she was from around here! Dummy! "Sorry."
-
Why were people's powers missing? Were hers? She looked at the grass beneath her feet. With a thought, they grew just a bit beneath her. Abiliene nodded to herself. This was good. She liked hers.
"Why would powers be missing?"
-
Vel, Vel, Vel, Vel, Vel! Dr. uh, Dr... Doctor? The kitten pressed her paws against her temples as she tried to remember the rest of the clan's surgeon's name. These two clanmates were supposed to be very important! Why in the world couldn't she remember their names? Abiliene let out a huff of irritation and began to pace back and forth. Eventually she gave up, because she just could not remember his name. At least she remembered... No, no, no, no!
"AGH!" This is so frustrating! She felt like crying, but instead pushed her face into the ground and pressed her paws against her temples again. Remember, remember! Ah!
-
She was really confused, but she'd been really confused ever since she'd hurt her head. She gave up on trying to understand. She'd been told her memory would get better with time and revert back to normal. It was still incredibly frustrating. She'd just have to ask... er, "If you're on board, Velvet..." Velvet! She'd just have to ask Velvet what was going on later. They were the same age right? Friends? Surely she'd explain if she asked her later on. She just had to remember to.
"...acid-spitting ants..." What?! She was jolted out of her head. Did those exist? Abiliene didn't want to find out. She would most definitely stay around camp now.
-
Abiliene was just outside of camp when she suddenly thought of how people had lost their powers. And at that thought she became excited, because she had remembered something. Granted it wasn't much, but she was excited nevertheless. One thought led to another, as thoughts do, and she was heading into the woods. The manx kitten was running as fast as her legs could take her until she stopped in front of tree. The earth began to shift in front of her. She was nothing but concentrated, and stared down the shifting soil until a root sprung up from the earth. It reached for the sky, and froze there. Abiliene was delighted! How high can I make it go? How high could I go? I wanna touch the sky! She put her paws up in the air like she was touching the sky, even though she couldn't see it in the dark of the forest.
Something rough and heavy circled around her body, and before she realized what was happening, she was thrust up into the air. Of course the kitten freaked out, and right before she hit the canopy, the root stopped. Try as hard as she could, and she couldn't get it to put her down.
"HELP! Help, I'm stuck!" Now she felt like crying.
-
"I can't remember anything!" she cried, throwing her head up from the ground. Abiliene immediately winced. Ouch. Not so fast. "'Cause I hit my head, I think? It's just so frustrating!" The kitten plopped back down on her butt, and pouted. "I can't even remember what I ate earlier, or even if I did."
-
"If you want to eat..." Oh, she did! She did! The manx kitten bounded on over. She used to go with her mother to hunt, and although she usually just watched, she still had a just of what went on. Even if she couldn't catch the prey she tried to hunt, it was a breeze to just bring up a root and strangle them to death. Sometimes.
"Can I-uh, may I come, please?"

// apologizes for the late reply. I'm mobile and inactice this week and wasn't expecting a thread. I'll do my best to keep up though!
Abiliene couldn't remember who Forthwall was, but she did remember the location of the parlor. So downstairs she went to meet someome she didn't know. Upon seeing him however, she recgonized him. That was Forthwall. Okay, remember!
"Um, hi?" Abiliene was nearly Velvet's age, but she lacked the battle experience the leader might posses. She'd lived with her mother before the switch, and entertained herself with her ability to control plants. It was slightly different here though. Sometimes she lost control.
-
The kitten made her way down to the parlor. Through her inactivity she had been working on her memory by making up games to play and such. Over time it had worked, and in addition to the natural regression of the problem itself, her memory had improved significantly. She even remembered both Velvet and Forthwall's names! Abiliene reached the parlor and sat down nearby, waiting for the wolf to start speaking.
