A photo shoot? Hana felt like she remembered Alex mentioning that while they were texting a long time ago. She remembered the German informing her that her brother was a professional photographer who traveled often, but she never thought they'd actually travel to Osaka for it. She watched the siblings' banter and began to smile a little bit. "Two weeks isn't that bad. And I have two brothers of my own, it's not like I haven't dealt with annoying before," Hana said and chuckled. As much as she loved her brothers, she knew from far too many past experiences that they could really get on her nerves sometimes. A bit subconsciously, she moved her fingers and brushed it through her hair once more as she spoke. "Really, you could've just asked me first. It wouldn't be a problem." Hana understood why they didn't tell her, but at the same time, she wished she could've given them some hospitality.

"The food looks pretty good!" Hana said with a smile when the camera flipped over to show an older blonde man who she could only assume was Otto. Seeing the dishes on the table suddenly reminded Hana that she hadn't eaten at all in nearly a day or so. Though, there still wasn't anything that she particularly craved right now. A slightly surprised look made way to the brunette's face when she heard Alex's offer. "Today?" Hana repeated. Did she want to see her that soon? Did Alex not want at least a little bit of time to herself first? Hana wasn't opposed to the idea of meeting, despite the fact that she still had some work to do. She had no idea when Alex would be available next after all, with the photoshoot and whatever else the two siblings had planned.

"Yeah, we can meet up somewhere today!" Hana replied in a more eager tone this time. She hoped her voice didn't waver as she spoke because she was honestly already getting nervous. Hana always felt a bit different when she spoke to Alex, and not necessarily in a bad way. Rather, Hana wasn't oblivious to the fact that she was definitely attracted to the German in some way. Who wouldn't be? Not only was she kind and entertaining to talk to, but she was also very beautiful. She didn't even think it was possible for someone to be that alluring, both in personality and appearance until meeting Alex.

Without realizing it herself, Hana had gently been biting against the corner of her bottom lip as she thought. She let it go when she spoke once more. "Was there any specific place you two planned on going to later?" the Japanese woman asked next. Normally she didn't like intruding on other people's plans, but maybe she'd be able to join the two then. There was always the possibility that they just wanted to go back to their hotel, too. Hana knew a lot of people would want to do that after such a long flight. Hana glanced down and picked up her mug of coffee, which she left ignored for a while now, and raised it to her lips. She took a quick sip of it and set it back down. "If not, that's okay too. We can come up with something then."

Even one of Hana's brows quirked up with Otto's at what the blonde woman said. "Wait, really? You'd want to do that?" Hana asked. Wasn't it even more of a waste of money for Alex to stay with her even after buying the hotel room? Hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to drag her stuff over if she was being serious. "If you're okay with it, I wouldn't mind," she said with a small smile. While Hana couldn't actually see Otto's face through the screen right now, she guessed he seemed okay with it too, judging from the lack of any verbal objections. "I really hope you're not doing this because I pressured you or something. I don't want to be holding you hostage during your vacation," she said and finished with a chuckle. "Your brother is welcome too, if he ever wants to come by or stay."

Hana watched as Alex picked up a piece of tofu from her plate and swallowed the bite of it. "I think you'll be happy to know that Osaka is kind of famous for its food. I think you'll have fun trying everything out." The fact that Alex was vegetarian did restrict some of her options, but Hana was sure that she'd be able to find some things for her to try. And if not, she'd figure out a different way to make it work somehow. "If you're staying with me, I'd love to cook for you some time too!" Hana always enjoyed preparing food, especially for other people. It made her more inclined to make sure what she was cooking tasted good, and it was always interesting to see the reactions she got from it. She picked up her cup of coffee and drank the little bit of liquid that remained before setting the mug down a final time.

After Alex asked her question, Hana nodded her head first before responding. "Well, I wouldn't quite consider it a fair technically, but festival is correct." The only fairs they really had were trade fairs, which probably weren't all that exciting for someone to go to. "And yes, there is a ferris wheel! Good thing you mention that since it's best to go on it at night. At least, that's what I think."

Hana temporarily looked away from the screen to glance up at the clock that was on the wall. Currently, it was a little bit less than halfway past six. "What time do you want to meet up? Do you think we can do it in an hour or so?" the Japanese woman asked with a slightly tilted head. She needed the time to get dressed and clean up around her apartment a little bit. "And we should probably come up with a place, too."

[ you're free to time skip to when they actually meet since there's not much we can really add to their current conversation, unless you have something in mind c: ]

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

"I didn't know people still played solitaire on their phones," a teasing yet familiar voice said from a few feet ahead. It was the same voice that Alex probably would've been acquainted with by now. It was neither high nor low in pitch, with an audible but slight rasp and accent. There, in front of Alexandra, stood Hana, with a slightly tilted head and smile on her face. It was easy to spot Alex at the entrance since it wasn't very common to see people with naturally blonde hair around. Instead of texting her when she first saw her like Alex told her to, Hana decided to give her a little surprise.

Compared to how she looked previously in the video call, the Japanese woman looked a lot more dignified. It no longer looked as though she had just woken up (although that would've been true at the time), mostly due to her attire and lack of messy hair. Currently, her outfit consisted of a simple black knit top, some blue jeans, and black heels. The glasses she was wearing during the call were out of sight, so it was safe to assume that she had on contacts instead. She also sported a small black bag that she was carrying over her shoulder. Hana's choice in clothing didn't make her look overly dressed, but still nice.

She chuckled before walking closer to Alex and taking a seat down on the bench beside her. Her dark brown eyes noticeably shifted as she looked the blonde up and down. "Wow. You're even prettier in person," Hana complimented, only to let out a little laugh just a few seconds afterward. Even while they were sitting, she could tell the bit of difference in their height. "And you're a lot smaller than I thought you'd be, too!" In reality, Hana was just freakishly tall compared to most other girls in her country. That, and she was also wearing heels, so that helped boost her height up a few inches.

Hana paused for a moment to reach up towards her locks of dark hair, quickly tucking back a small bit of hair behind her ear before she spoke. "I hope you didn't have too much trouble getting that." She quickly glance down at the armband Alex had. "I'll at least be here to translate for you now." Hana cast her gaze back up so she was looking at Alex's green eyes. It took her a few seconds to realize she had been staring before she quickly blinked and looked away. "I'm also really sorry for being a bit late! I'm normally not like that, sorry."

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

[ i could tell from the hair and face shape lol ]

It would've been incorrect to say that Hana's heart didn't momentarily stop when she saw Alex winking at her like that. She wasn't sure why she was affected by such a minimal action, but that's how it always seemed when it came to Alexandra. Simply glancing at the blonde, whether it be in person or even in a picture, made her want to stop and look. People said that beauty was in the eye of the beholder, but Hana was positive that was true of everyone Alex met. Seeing her up close for the first time only reinforced that this girl was without a doubt flawless.

It wasn't long before the corners of the Japanese woman's lips tugged into a little smile. "Is that supposed to be a challenge?" One of her brows slowly raised. If Alex was going to act flirty, regardless of it was meant in a playful or serious way, there was no way Hana was going to sit there and be passive about it. If anything, she should've been proud of herself for not freezing up like a fool, as she did many times before. "Don't think you can get away with tempting me so easily now. I've become immune."

Of course, Hana wouldn't tell her, but it was quite the opposite. If Alex told her to jump, Hana would probably ask, "How high?"

She glanced away from the blonde's face and back down to her clothing, which she realized had changed since the last time she saw her. Hana's head began to tilt slightly, and she glanced back up with the same smile on her face after hearing Alex's compliment. "I can't say I really do look that nice, but thank you. You on the other hand? Surely you'd look nice in anything." Or nothing at all. Hana was a little bit surprised by her own afterthought. She didn't dare say that aloud. "But really, you changed your outfit before coming here? For me? I'm flattered," she said in a sarcastically egotistical way.

She couldn't help but laugh at Alex's sudden change in expression. "No, I didn't mean it in a bad way! It's cute." It wasn't like the height difference was unusual to what Hana was used to, anyway. She usually towered over most other Japanese girls, but she hadn't been expecting to be taller than Alex, even if it was just by a few inches. To her, the German just seemed like the type of person who would be tall from pictures. Maybe it was because of her face? Or body type? Hana didn't really know.

Her gaze quickly flicked down when she felt Alex resting her hand against her thigh before gently squeezing it. Hana's dark brown eyes widened just slightly at the feeling. It was more common that people keep their hands to themselves in the country, so this contact was fairly different from what Hana was used to... but it was nothing she didn't like. It was the sight of Alex standing up that made Hana break out of her thoughts, and she tilted her head up slightly to look at the blonde. At the mention of the armband, Hana reached down to her sleeve and tugged a little bit of it down. "Already beat you to that." Surely enough, around her wrist, was one of the bands. "I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer." She rolled her black sleeve back down and then stood up to her full height next to the German. "Well, we might as well get going, right?"

Despite it getting late, there were still several people present. The sky was starting to get dark, so many lanterns were lit above in the air. There were different booths and little shops by the sides of the path, as well as a couple of carnival-esque rides. If you looked above, you could see the ferris wheel, which was brightly lit in different colors in preparation for the night, as well as a few roller coasters spread out. The first thing that caught Hana's attention, however, was a little food stand. After all, she still hadn't actually eaten anything and didn't literally want to starve. "Can you wait here for a second? I'll be back in a minute."

She quickly turned and headed over to the little stand. When she returned, just about two minutes later, she was holding two Japanese styled crepes in a cone shape, wrapped in a paper casing. Hana held one of them out to Alex. "You've had a crepe before, right? You should try this!"

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

Instead of immediately taking a bite out of the crepe in her hand, Hana first watched the German begin eating it. A smile made way to Hana's face when she saw Alexandra's pleased reaction. She was glad that she didn't accidentally end up getting the blonde something she disliked. "Oh, really? You think it's that good? Well, I wasn't lying when I said Osaka is popular for its food." Hearing what Alex said next with such a straight expression made Hana quickly shake her head and raise the crepe up closer to her own lips. "Oh, uhm, please don't." Her tone was calm and a little serious, although she could tell that Alexandra was just joking. "I haven't actually eaten anything in the past twenty-five hours, I think, so..." She took a few bites of the sweet pastry until there was only the paper holder left. Before throwing away the paper, Hana quickly licked a bit of whipped cream remaining on her bottom lip. Then, she turned back to look at Alexandra.

It was once again such a simple thing, but hearing the blonde refer to her as "love" made one of the Japanese woman's brows raise just slightly, though she made no comment about it. Hana wasn't getting the wrong idea or anything - she knew the pet name was meant platonically, but that was what made her more intrigued. It was interesting to see their difference in culture, even from just talking. Hana couldn't recall any time where she had been called by a name like that, nor had she ever heard other people using it aside from western tv shows. Here, it would've been weird to call someone else by a pet name. Hell, it was even uncommon to address people by their first name unless a relationship was that close. Just that little bit of lenience for words like "love" or "dear" said a lot, even if it didn't seem that way.

After blinking her thoughts away, the brunette spoke. "Well, how about we just walk around a little first?" she suggested. "That'll give you the chance to look around and see if anything interests you, too." There were a lot of different shops, restaurants, and even little stands for playing games and winning prizes, so it was a good idea to see everything first instead of immediately heading to the biggest attraction in their view. She turned and began taking a few small steps away from Alex, looking back at the younger woman for a few seconds as a gesture for her to follow, before tilting her head back forward. It was only when she heard Alex's footsteps behind her that Hana began speaking once more. "Just tell me if there's anything you want to see and we can stop, okay? I'll make sure to do the same."

Her dark brown eyes flicked across the different booths and buildings by the sides of the path. Her pace slowed down a little, just to give them a decent amount of time to gaze at their surroundings. "So, what's it like in Germany?" Hana began. Not only was she genuinely curious, but she wanted to start up some sort of conversation. "Is there anything about it that's really different from Osaka?" Truthfully, Hana didn't really know much about Germany. There were little things she researched and read about on the internet when Alexandra mentioned them while talking or texting, but that still wasn't enough for her to get a good grasp of how the country was. "I hope you're not having too much of a cultural shock in the few hours you've been here." A little chuckle escaped from her lips. "And I also hope you're enjoying the city so far!" Hana paused to look back at Alex with a sweet smile.

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

While Alexandra first began her explanation, Hana curiously listened. She occasionally nodded her head every so often to show that she was engaged in what Alex had to say. "I agree with you on that. I'm always reminded of how modest we are whenever I sit down and watch shows from different countries." Then again, even a lot of Japanese shows displayed romance or other forms of closeness quite differently than how it was in reality, too. It didn't make much sense, but Hana supposed the shows were considered fictional for a reason. "Hand holding is becoming a lot more common now. It's not strange to do it anymore, as long as you don't try to go past that." There were times that Hana could remember holding some of her friends' hands (most of the time it was Yuki's honestly), but even then it wasn't something she did frequently.

Hana hummed slightly in thought before shaking her head. "Romance, love... things like that are a bit strange here. It's all over the media, but in real life, people are reserved about it. Even with platonic or familial love, it's extremely rare to ever actually say 'I love you'. People here think it loses its meaning if it's said often, but... I don't really get that." Hana let out a little sigh and glanced away.

"I think I've heard of Oktoberfest before," Hana said and nodded her head. Still, she had no idea why it was actually celebrated and what events took place during it. Well, other than getting wasted at five o'clock, according to Alex. "Baseball and football are the sports that are pretty popular here. But is it even a surprise that the women's league is better? They're nicer to look at and don't bother exaggerating every tiny injury." It was really extra how lots of soccer players acted like they were practically dying on the floor when all they actually did was get nudged a little. The least they could do was at least try to act better.

Slowly, Hana's dark brown eyes shifted to look back at Alex. Her mind wandered back to the video call from earlier, when Alex flipped the camera over to show Otto. Even if Hana wasn't interested in men at all, she could still admit that Otto was undeniably a very attractive man. All you needed were a pair of working eyes to determine that, really. She couldn't help but quickly look up and down at the German woman again. Both of the Krieger siblings were extremely attractive. Hana knew first-hand from all the times she froze while Alex looked or smiled at her. She wished she could be that pretty.

Before she spoke, Hana ran a few fingers through her black hair and tucked a small lock of it behind her ear. "Well, to be fair, both of you look like you should be professional models," Hana said honestly. Never before had she seen a pair of siblings that looked like that. Their appearance was the type that transcended words. "I'm sure she was a little curious, too. Natural blondes are rare here. I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked to touch your hair at some point." Now that she thought about it, Hana didn't think she recalled ever actually touching natural blonde hair herself. The closest to that was Yuki's dyed hair, but it was really obvious that was just black in disguise.

Not only seeing Alex's smile, but also hearing her compliment made Hana blush. She quickly glanced away from Alex in a sort of flustered way. "You're quite the charmer, aren't you?" She didn't think there was ever a time she had been complimented so much in such a short amount of time. Especially with her appearance. Perhaps it was just her cultural modesty once again, but Hana didn't really think much about her looks. It wasn't that she thought she was ugly or anything, just nothing that special. How could Alex be saying something like that with her own appearance, anyway? In Hana's opinion, she was far more captivating. Alex's facial features naturally complimented each other. Her skin, nose, lips - all flawless. Her blonde hair looked thick and healthy, and her eyes? Hana didn't know they could come in that color. Even the shape of her body was fitting to several beauty standards.

"... I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll find many things more exquisite to look at soon enough." Despite her somewhat self-deprecating statement, she chuckled after. Then, she looked back over to the booths. "Your brother said he wanted a bear, right? I can try to win one for you later, if you'd like. Or now. You don't have to pick a prize already since they also have a point reward system. That way, you can just go to one of the gift shops at the end and get something there with your points." She looked at Alex with an eager smile. "You know those games where you have to throw a baseball at something? I don't want to seem like I'm bragging, but I'd like to think I'm pretty good at them. It would be disappointing if I wasn't, really, since I used to be on a team for it and everything." She waited a moment before her shoulders lifted into a little shrug. "Or... we could try something a little more challenging?"

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

Before she spoke any words, the brunette took a moment to think before slightly shaking her head from one side to the other. "Nope. Kissing here only happens if there's very few people around, or if you're in the dark." Most people didn't really seem to like watching other couples get too physical, at least in a public setting. Personally, Hana didn't really care as long as people weren't borderline going at it in front of her. "Well, that's unless at least one of you looks foreign. Then you'll probably have a little bit of leeway." Japanese people didn't seem to mind nearly as much when foreigners were involved in these acts, perhaps maybe because they didn't think outsiders knew any better.

"And, well... I don't think I've ever told someone I loved them." It wasn't that Hana didn't, because she loved many people in a platonic way. Love here just happened to be interpreted in a romantic way if spoken verbally, so saying it to someone like a family member would've been extremely awkward. "We use 'I like you' a lot more. Saying 'I love you' here is like admitting that you cherish them with every fiber of your being and can't live without them. But truly, love here is based off of what you do and sacrifice for a person. If someone really loves you, then you just know, even if they haven't said something." Now that she thought about it, Hana didn't think she could remember hearing the phrase "I love you" ever being directed to her. It wasn't like she was dejected about it though, considering it was such a rare phrase to hear. Plus, it wasn't like she had ever said it herself. "You can probably tell that Japan is more of a do, don't tell sort of country."

When Alex started with her story about watching the soccer match, Hana chuckled when she was finally finished speaking about it. "Huh, that is pretty cool. Especially considering how many people get switched out just for a little leg sprain." The Japanese woman was a little bit surprised within the next few seconds when Alex tilted her head towards her, like a sort of invitation for her to give the locks a touch. "You really want me to?" Hana asked with one of her brows slowly raising. She stopped walking down the path to to take a step closer and hesitantly raised a hand up to hold a small lock of blonde hair. Although it wasn't like Alex's hair was delicate enough to break just from the contact, Hana still held it very gently. She found herself quite liking the feeling of it, actually. It was both silky and soft between her fingers. She quickly glanced up at Alex before letting her slender fingers brush out of the German's hair. "Wow, it's really nice and soft," she complimented with a tender smile. Not only that, but it also felt and looked pretty thick, yet still very healthy. "It's really beautiful. You must take really good care of your hair, hm? It kind of makes me think back to when I used to grow out mine... but we won't really talk about those times."

She waited a moment before turning back forward and continuing their walk past the booths. She hoped that because of the darkness, the hue of faint red across her cheeks wouldn't be noticed from the compliment. "It's alright if we do it later! I'm sure all the booths will be open late, anyway." Honestly, she was still unsure what they'd end up doing instead though. Even if there were a lot of different rides and other attractions they were walking right by, Hana was enjoying her time just talking to the German. She was truthfully really glad that their conversations physically with each other flowed just as well as the many ones they previously had through text. She guessed there really was no reason for her to have originally felt doubtful and afraid.

After she asked her question, Hana nodded her head. "Yes, in high school!" She parted her lips as if she was about to say something else, but stopped when she saw the younger woman suddenly lean in close. Her dark brown eyes widened just slightly and the expression remained on her face as the German recited what was probably the worst pickup line she ever heard. Still, there was a hint of a blush on her face - not at all from what Alex said, but more so from her closeness and the hushed tone she had spoken in. It was hard to tell what the brunette was thinking since all she did at first was blink while Alex laughed at her own joke. It was only after the laughter came to an end that a smile, a genuine one despite Alexandra's corniness, appeared on Hana's face. "You're really cute, you know that?" Her head slightly tilted and her gaze remained on the shorter woman. Hana liked the sound of her laughing and it made her even more happy to see the German smiling so brightly, even if it was for something ridiculous like this. "But... I'm sorry. That still doesn't excuse the fact that was terrible."

It was only after that Hana chuckled while shaking her head slightly. With a smile still on her face, she slowly turned her head to look away. A few seconds of comfortable silence passed before she spoke again. "I actually am good at catching though, so... whenever you're ready."

    hana sumeragi ☆*:・☽

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

Wait... was Alex joking about her implication? Hana couldn't really tell from how serious both her tone and expression had become all of a sudden. It was this uncertainty that made Hana stay quiet for a moment. "Uhm... well it technically is going to get darker in an hour..." This time, her voice was probably only a little bit louder than inaudible, still due to the fact that she wasn't sure if Alex was messing with her or not. Well, that was, until the German smiled, which was a dead giveaway of the answer. Yeah. She was definitely joking. The thought of making a quick getaway to a more private area just to give her a kiss never ran through her mind until now. Now that Hana was actually thinking about it, she honestly wouldn't mind reinforcing that idea, although she would never admit something like that aloud. Especially now that she knew that Alexandra was just being a tease. The blonde definitely wasn't wrong about calling herself the "best temptress" earlier.

It was definitely interesting to hear Alexandra's thoughts because of her perspective as an outsider. To Hana, being that reserved about feelings was a normal thing. It would've been weirder here for a person to be flashy about showing their love, although Hana was sure that was the norm in many western countries. At least, that's what Hana assumed from various western shows, movies, books... things of that sort. Her shoulders lifted up into a little shrug. "I think both ways have their own strengths and weaknesses. It really just depends on who you are. Some people feel reassured knowing they're loved without having to make assumptions, others are fine without." Personally, Hana was probably the latter, just because of the way she was raised. Still, she respected people who said the three-word phrase often. Even if it was said frequently, that didn't always mean people threw it around like it was nothing.

There was a brief moment of silence that Hana spent thinking before she slightly shook her head. "Dark times? Well, it was during my teenage years, so... I guess you're not entirely off," Hana said and chuckled. A little smile made way to her face as memories began to fill her head. "It was really long, and I kind of just chopped it off without warning. I just came home one day and it was gone. My mom was really mad about it at first. I can still remember her totally overreacting over it." She shook her head and let out a gentle sigh before continuing the story. "Well, I decided to grow my hair out again just to see if that would make her happier, but by the time it got to my chest, she told me to cut it again because she liked it shorter more. It was a good thing for me because I felt the same way." Of course, that was a little bit obvious considering Hana's hair ended at about her collarbones now. She moved her fingers up to tuck a black lock behind her ear with a smile.

It was Hana's turn to be shocked this time when she heard what Alex said next. She definitely hadn't been expecting the blonde to be so bold with her words. There was one sentence specifically that stuck in Hana's head. "I’m not gonna pass up a woman like you." Did that mean that there was a possibility Alex liked her in that regard? She tried looking anywhere but Alex as she thought, and honestly felt thankful that she could avoid responding when Alex asked her next question. "Oh, uhm, yes! Of course we can go now." It was clear from how she first replied that Hana was still a bit flustered from the German's previous statement. She let out a little huff of air in attempt to calm herself back down. "Let's head there now then before the line conveniently gets big."

Considering how close Alex already was to her, Hana couldn't help but very gently take hold of the younger woman's wrist. Her touch was delicate and her grip wasn't strong at all, which gave Alex the opportunity to escape her grasp if she ever felt uncomfortable. Hana's index and middle finger were gently pressed against the German's palm while her other three fingers were by the sides of her wrist. Hana slowly glanced up at Alex with a gentle little smile before heading in the direction of the ride.

It wasn't long before the two were standing in the back of the line, which wasn't all that long. It would still take a couple of minutes before they were at the very front, however. "So, I'm guessing you like amusement parks then?" Hana asked and slowly raised one of her brows. Some people wouldn't have chosen to go on one of the biggest roller coasters available first. Not that Hana minded because she wasn't really afraid of them. "I was never able to go to them as a child, but now that I'm an adult... they're pretty fun. I'm glad I haven't missed out on them."

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

Needless to say, the brunette was a little bit surprised when she first felt Alex's hand slipping up towards her own palm. Her heart began to flutter at the feeling of the other's skin brushing against her own, more so when she felt the German's fingers slipping in the cracks between hers. It was such a small gesture - a matter that she shouldn't be so flustered about - but Hana couldn't help it. It was like she was a nervous little schoolgirl all over again. She could feel heat rising to her cheeks and leaving a faint red hue in its wake. Subconsciously, her grip on the blonde's hand began to tighten. Truthfully, she already liked the feeling of Alex's hand in her own. They were soft to the touch and warm, which contrasted with the cooler air surrounding them. Even when they got to the line and she felt Alex's grip loosen, Hana still didn't let go. Her dark brown eyes flicked down when she felt the gentle touch of Alexandra's thumb running against the back of her hand, which caused the Japanese woman to shiver just slightly. She hoped the movement would go unnoticed.

It took a moment for Hana to lift her gaze back up, and even more to actually process what Alex asked. All the brunette could do was blink for a few moments before she vaguely shook her head. "Oh, uhm, sorry. I think the craziest ride I went on was when I was visiting in America. California specifically. A lot of the American rides are pretty wild, so it's kind of hard to decide..." Her dark brows furrowed and she very quietly hummed in thought, only stopping when an answer came to mind. "I think it's called X2? It was... very unique, to say the least." She momentarily glanced away from Alexandra as she recalled the experience of the coaster. "Hm, the seats rotated at random and there was fire. It kinda feels like you're about to die because you go head-first on the big drop." Hana's tone remained calm, even though she was being completely honest and serious about what she said. She then chuckled and looked back at Alex. "But, it was still fun. I had really bad whiplash at the end of it though. I think I had a migraine for a few hours after."

Her hand that wasn't holding onto Alex's rose up to gently brush through her black hair before she lowered her arm back down. "I don't think I was ever able to go to them as a kid. I was too busy, mostly with studying and stuff like that. I had school, and then after school I had more school, clubs... you know." The brunette released a gentle sigh. "It's nice that you're able to do things like that over the summer though. I wish I could." A little bit more freedom was probably something that Hana could only imagine in her dreams. Her job often tied her down a considerable amount. "I thought it was normal at first, but it turns out we work a lot of more hours here than we do in other countries... Normally I wouldn't be able to do something like this, but since it's you, I made an exception. Consider yourself special," she teased with a playful smile.

As the line began to move up towards the ride, so did Hana. She took a small step forward but still stayed a comfortable distance from the person standing in front of them, all while remaining her contact with the shorter blonde woman. "I want to hear more about you though," Hana began in a tone that was a little more enthusiastic than before. Her head began to tilt slightly. "What was the craziest thing you rode on? What was your childhood like?"

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

    She was late. Terribly late.

And yet here Cameron was, continuing to walk ever so nonchalantly through the corridors of the school. Her footsteps were light and steady, indicating no sign that she was in a rush. After all, wasn't she doing a favor by refraining from interrupting their rehearsal? It wasn't as though anyone mentioned it would be necessary to practice with the prop in her hands, which was carefully sealed away in a little cardboard box. Or perhaps in reality, she was just being shallow? Her eyebrows began to momentarily furrow at the thought and her head tilted up to glance at the clock hanging from the ceiling tiles. There really was no reason Cameron had otherwise to justify the fact she was practically an hour late. While releasing a soft sigh, she lowered her gaze back down and hastened the pace of her steps.

It wasn't long before she finally arrived at her destination, which happened to be the auditorium. While standing in front of the wooden doors, Cameron adjusted the weight of the box onto one of her hands and extended her free hand out to push the door open. She slipped through the crack between and was greeted with the sight of several students. Some lounged peacefully within the many rows and columns of seats across from the stage. Other students stood in a more scattered formation, with some on the wide stage or in the area in front of the platform. Cameron couldn't help but take a quick glance at the decorations adorning the stage. All appeared to be meticulously crafted - it was apparent whoever created it used every ounce of their passion. The noise of the door shutting behind her was what made Cameron quickly look away, only to meet the eyes of several students who turned their heads back after hearing the sound. Though, moments after, it was a new noise - this time a familiar voice - that broke the silence.

"And here I was, thinking you'd never show up!"

    MAIA CHAMBERS

It was true that by the time the older girl finally arrived, they were already finished, but Maia wasn't the tiniest bit mad. Sure, she asked her to come nearly an hour ago, but... things happened, she supposed. She was glad Cameron even bothered showing up rather than not appearing at all. From where Maia was standing nearby the stage with her arms crossed, she glanced down at the box that the brunette was tightly grasping in her hands. She uncrossed one of her arms to gesture over at the stage behind her. "You can just put that over here. We'll move it later." She watched as Cameron silently nodded her head before walking down the aisle between the seats. She carefully placed the box down nearby the edge of the stage.

"You're going to the party later, right?" Maia eventually asked with a slightly tilted head. In her hand was a keychain, and on it were just a few keys. For the most part, they were about the same size, but varied in color. She fidgeted with the keys hanging on the ring as she spoke. "We got some keys for the backstage stuff, but I heard one of them is able to open up all the locks in the school. If it's true, that gives us a perfect chance to explore and snoop around, so if you want, you can join us," the brunette offered. Normally she wasn't one who invaded other's privacy or trespassed into placed that were obviously meant to be restricted for a reason, but Maia was curious. There was a lot you could learn from secrets. "It's totally up to you though."

One of Cameron's brows was quirked upward, though it was soon after that her shoulders lifted into a little shrug. "Yeah, you know... I don't know. I'll have to see."

"Fine by me." Maia paused for a moment before taking a few very small steps away from the stage. "I'm going to go now though before it gets to late, so... if anyone wants to tag along, feel free to."

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

There was something in her that made Cameron want to retort back to the blonde, but at the same time, she knew that Lucy was honestly being reasonably bitchy. What benefit would she receive from causing a scene, anyway? "Okay, well, I'm sorry?" It only struck Cameron now that she hadn't even apologized upon entering, and while her tone was a little bit questioning, she was actually being genuine. "I have other things to do than immediately cater to the drama club." Her attention turned back to the set of keys that Maia was jingling in the palm of her hand. It was true that snooping around the school might've seemed like a bit of a childish act, but it wasn't like Cameron had anything better to do, did she? There was of course that party that was going on, but even those could get kind of boring. They were all just the same thing anyway - the popular kids creating unnecessary drama, people getting high on whatever the hell they could find, sex... It wasn't like the next party to come up would be any different.

"I might actually come with you guys." She needed something to do to kill the time. Plus, even if it was unlikely she'd admit it out loud, the drama kids would probably offer better company than whoever was at the party. Maia was always a fairly outgoing and nice person from the times she talked to her, and Aimee? Cameron honestly didn't know all too much about her on a personal level, but she still respected her for being someone who appeared genuinely kind instead of fake about it. She was also a little bit soft-spoken and innocent too, at least in Cameron's opinion, but there was nothing wrong with that. In fact, it was a little bit endearing.

"If you guys are okay with it though. I don't want to intrude on anything."

    MAIA CHAMBERS

"Well, I don't really think it's technically okay, but they never said we couldn't do it. I mean, they gave us a master key for a reason, right?" By the way Aimee was mentioning those fake horror movies, it almost seemed like she wanted something bad to happen. "Well, we're not in a slasher movie though, are we? It's not like we'll run into some scary serial killer who's been locked in the basement this entire time or something." She faked a small but still exaggerated gasp of air. "Or maybe we actually will? Who knows. We'll only find out if we actually start looking around." With a pleased smile on her face, she looked over at Lucy and shrugged. "You're not entirely wrong, but the school is only boring because we've only seen the boring parts. Don't you want to see what they're hiding?" The logic made sense to Maia. If there was something the staff wasn't revealing to the students, there had to be a reason, and Maia wanted to find out. That, and normally they would've gotten in trouble for exploring places they shouldn't be sticking their heads in. There weren't any adults around to dictate what they could and couldn't do. They should be taking advantage of their free rein.

"And of course you can come! Like I said, anyone is welcome to." She didn't really feel the need to ask Aimee's permission first in this case. Knowing her, she'd probably be the type to go along with whoever decided to join. Maia didn't think there was any beef between her and Cameron, anyway, or at least none that she heard of before. There most likely wasn't going to be any problems. That was what Maia wanted to hope. "But seriously, this is my last call before I'm out of here."

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

"I think it would be pretty fun to find a dead body lying around, actually. It would make this place a lot more interesting, you know?" It was obvious she was joking, simply from how dry her tone of voice was. Still, it wasn't as though Cameron felt like she was entirely wrong, either. Other than classic high school drama, nothing special ever occurred in their school. Sure, there were things like the Nazi room Lucy mentioned, which Cameron definitely remembered hearing about before in various rumors, but that wasn't anything super shocking. Well, it definitely wasn't anything that most other schools had, but rumors still didn't mean its existence was actually true. "It sure is interesting that you're so intrigued by this swastika room." One of Cameron's eyebrows raised as she looked at Lucy. Her tone remained sarcastic, though she knew there was always the chance that the blonde might take her implications the wrong way. Hopefully not though. Even if Lucy wasn't the nicest person, that shouldn't affect her ability to understand sarcasm.

She shook her head slightly. "Really though, the only reason the janitor is in hiding is because the people in this school are fucking disgusting. I don't blame him." Cameron's chocolate brown eyes slowly shifted to gaze down at Aimee. "I wouldn't be too worried about finding anything weird though. I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to hide something like that in a school." Realistically, the chances of something like that happening were little to none. Cameron wasn't the type to really think further than that. There was no reason to freak herself out over her own thoughts and assumptions, even if there still could be a very slight possibility. "So... yeah. No need to panic over something we don't know about yet." She calmly shrugged.

    MAIA CHAMBERS

Of all things, Maia definitely wasn't expecting Lucy to suddenly decide to tag along. Her change of heart was interesting, especially after saying how "immature" the idea was, but the brunette wasn't opposed to her coming either. After all, she was still enforcing the whole "anyone is welcome to join" thing. "See? You can't even deny that you're a little bit curious." A little laugh escaped from her her lips and she quickly turned towards the doors with the keys still grasped in her hands. "Dead body or not, we should get going. The swastika room is definitely a place we should try looking for. Gotta confirm if the rumors are true, right?" She walked down the aisle between the seats and headed over to the exit. Once she was by the wooden doors, Maia pushed them open and held it open with the heel of her foot for the other girls. She let go once all of them walked through and was able to rejoin the group with a few quick strides.

"By any chance, do any of you guys believe in ghosts?" It was probably a weird question to ask out of the blue, but it was relevant for the ideas that Maia had. Personally, she wasn't really sure about her stance on the subject. She saw things before that were hard to explain, but whether or not it was actually a ghost's doing was unknown to the girl. "I heard some stories here and there that there are some ghosts in our school. Like, I heard there was a girl who who died in one of the classroom closets or something like that. I don't really remember, and I doubt it's true, but... it would still be fun to check out." Her head tilted to glance at Lucy as they walked down the hallway. "But first of all, where is this swastika room even supposed to be?"

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

Cameron wasn't quite sure if she ever heard Maia's story before. Chances were, she probably had before, but it escaped her memory. When it came to horror stories, she personally never found the supernatural ones as threatening. She was the type of person who'd be more afraid of cold hard facts rather than the unknown. "I don't really believe in ghosts. Most of the time it's just people making things up for fame." Usually she would rely on science to determine if things were real or not from a practical standpoint, but Cameron would admit that sometimes there were occurrences that were beyond what any scientific evidence could explain. "I'm not saying they're fake, though. I'll believe it when I see it." As long as she couldn't prove that they were fake for certain, it was probably the best decision to stay at least a little open-minded.

It was when they turned the corner and approached the steps leading down to the bottom floor when the lights suddenly flicked off, leaving the area in pitch black darkness. The only ray of light she could see was coming from behind them, shining faintly from one of the windows. As the seconds passed, the light was only getting dimmer, as it was already getting pretty late. In the darkness, Cameron's brows began to furrow. It was definitely weird for the lights to shut off all of a sudden. There wasn't a storm or anything, so what knocked the power out? She reached into her back pocket and slipped her phone out. She pressed her thumb against the home button to unlock it and pressed on the flashlight icon. The phone was able to illuminate a small area in front of her, which she soon tilted to point down towards the stairs. "So... are we still going to go?"

    MAIA CHAMBERS

"Or something?" There was a playful edge to her tone and one of her eyebrows curiously raised up. "Something like... I don't know... genuinely wanting to come with us? It's not hard to see through your excuses." Lucy was supposed to be like some bitchy ice queen, wasn't she? So why would she give a damn whether or not they tripped and died or something else ridiculous? "That's a very interesting way to describe your beliefs though. I honestly wasn't expecting something so philosophical from someone like you." Maia didn't really mean that in an offensive way, she was just being honest. She would've expected a much more blunt answer from the blonde. It was the little jab Lucy made next that made Maia dramatically place a hand over her chest, as if she was in pain. "Ouch. You really don't have to go attacking me like that."

Maia continued following behind them, but came to a quick stop when the lights suddenly vanished. They were left nearby the stairs in the darkness, or at least only for a few moments before Cameron turned the flashlight on her phone on. Maia couldn't help but wince slightly at the sudden streak of light. "A warning would've been nice." She heard the taller brunette mutter a little "sorry". Maia reached into her pocket and took out her phone, turning the flashlight on. She first pointed up to the ceiling lights, which were obviously still out, before letting out a little sigh. As if the darkness was nothing, she casually walked down the stairs with the light pointing forward. "Well, there's no reason we shouldn't, is there? This is just setting the mood."

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

Even when the area was shrouded in darkness and she felt delicate hands wrapping around her arm out of nowhere, Cameron didn't flinch at all. Most people would've probably freaked out at the feeling of something grabbing them in the dark, simply due to classic horror movie cliches, but she didn't think someone latching onto her in this way really fit that cliche down to a T. It was only when she turned on her flashlight that she saw it was actually Aimee who was holding on, and honestly, Cameron didn't blame her. She wasn't mad or disgusted by the contact, and she couldn't figure why anyone would be. If grabbing onto someone made her feel better, then Cameron didn't mind. "I think the only way to check if it's safe is to actually go down there," Cameron said, despite the fact that Maia was already a few steps down the stairs. Lucy was quick to follow after, leaving Cameron alone with Aimee nearby the first step. With the light, she gestured over to the stairs.

"You can go first." She wasn't saying this because she was scared to go ahead, but because she knew Aimee probably would be. If they did happen to come across anything, it would be Maia or Lucy who'd probably find it first. The person in the very back was usually the one who ended up in danger, at least in stereotypical slashers, but Cameron wasn't going to tell her that. She'd probably freak out. The only reason Cameron was so calm was because she was sure this was just some sort of coincidence. Some dude wasn't actually going to grab her shoulder in the dark and try to kill her.

When she felt her phone vibrate in her hand, Cameron looked away from Aimee and over at the screen. The notification was from an unknown number. What was even weirder was that the other three also seemed to conveniently get a text right at the same time. Cameron tapped on the notification before it could vanish, and when she read the contents of the text, she couldn't help but slightly tilt her phone screen further away from view. She quickly skimmed through the bottom half of the text.

"Go, or I will reveal your secrets to everyone.

    Down the stairs, bottom floor.

    Right.

    Down the hallway, left.

    Storage unit."

Normally, she would've passed this off as a really wild prank, but there was something that put the brunette on edge. Who the hell was this person and how did they know her secrets? "Yeah... I got it too."

    MAIA CHAMBERS

She was glad that at least one of them understood the way she was seeing things. "That's the spirit, Lucy. The lights shutting off is really just something in our favor, yeah? This just makes it more exciting." After all, this really wouldn't be as much of a spooky scary ghost hunt if everything was fine and dandy, right? Things were only starting to feel a little bit more real. Sure, it was a little bit annoying that their vision was limited now and their phone battery would be murdered in the process of hunting for the rooms, but Maia was positive it would all be worth it in the end. "Think about it. Maybe the ghost heard what we were talking about. This might simply be a calling." Of course, she was joking once again, but a little part of Maia did actually hope this was a little more than just coincidence.

It appeared like her wish came true after all when they received the texts. By the time Maia was finished reading it, her brows were furrowed and her brown eyes were slightly widened. Who the fuck...? She exited out of the app and glanced back over her shoulder to look at the others. "Uh... did you guys get directions too?" Was there literally some ghost in the school haunting them? Maia wasn't so sure how she felt about going now. It wasn't like she had a choice, anyway. This person... ghost... with knowledge of their secrets, they were just like marionettes. Who knew what they'd have to do next. "I guess we have to go, right?" Maia didn't want to anymore. Still, as she approached the bottom step, she followed as the text said and took a right.

「 i only told the moon — about the way you move 」

Something about the thought of going to Germany honestly made Hana feel a little bit excited. There was no way she'd have any work business outside of the country, so it would have to be on a vacation of some sort. She wasn't sure if something like that could ever happen because of her job and schedule, but she'd have to keep it in mind. Would Alex actually want her to come visit though? Germany was a beautiful place, at least from the pictures she saw before, but Hana knew that it was the blonde that she mostly would've wanted to see there. "Yeah. If I ever do visit Germany, I'd definitely go there with you. It sounds like it would be fun." A genuine smile was on her face and she quickly nodded her head after. Honestly, Hana was positive that doing anything with Alex would've been fun to her, even if it was an activity that was normally considered mediocre. Just standing nearby the German made the brunette feel happier, so of course she'd be willing to do anything with her.

When her job was mentioned once more in conversation, Hana's dark brown eyes slightly widened and she rapidly shook her head. "Don't feel bad about it or anything. Honestly, I really needed a break." A break could almost be a little bit of an understatement. She spent practically a little more than the past twenty four hours typing away at her computer. What she really needed was a normal, actually healthy amount of sleep. She could get that later though. Hana would much rather spend her time with Alex. "You're my savior, actually. I really needed an excuse to get out of the house." If it wasn't for the blonde, she'd probably still be lounging around at home right now. "I've been working for way too long anyway. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a mental breakdown if I have to do it again." She chuckled, and although there was a playfulness to Hana's tone, she was a little bit serious too. If she saw anymore impossible codes on laptop screens, she'd probably start crying right there.

The Japanese woman became quiet as Alex started explaining her childhood. "I actually grew up in a rural area too. Not in a farm or anything like that, though. Personally, I think rural areas are a lot prettier than the cities, even if they're not really as fun." Hana wasn't against big cities because they definitely had their own sort of beauty too. It was just that there was a certain tranquility in rural areas that was impossible to appear in more urbanized places. Rural areas were usually a lot more open, peaceful, and green, while the cities were crowded and noisy comparison. "I moved away for university though." While Hana lived in the city now, it was nothing big like Tokyo, which she liked. It made life a lot calmer. The only complaint she had was that parking was really damn expensive.

When Hana decided to ask Alexandra about her life, she didn't think she'd be so open about it in that aspect. It was apparent by the expression on the brunette's face that she was a little bit surprised by her lack of filter. Hana was sure that she was turning red, and she was really glad now that that they decided to see each other at night. She was glad the lack of light could mask the shade of red dusting her cheeks. "I... uhm... my parents would never. I mean, I don't even need protection, but... I'd rather die than go through that trauma." Just the thought of something that awkward was embarrassing Hana. Living in such a modest country, she was sure that her parents would never look at her the same way and vice versa. Luckily, the chances of them finding out about stuff like during her teenage years was relatively small. "I mean, you can't even do things of that nature in your own house. The walls are paper thin." She wished she was exaggerating, but if someone was having a conversation in one room, you could probably hear it from the other side of the wall if you paid enough attention.

After a light breeze rolled by, Hana momentarily paused to shift a lock of her black hair back behind her ear. "We have hotels here that are specially made for that stuff... It's a super popular thing here. They're basically everywhere. Not going to lie, they're not even bad if you want a little break somewhere. Usually you're able to buy them for an hour at a cheap price and they're really fancy most of the time. It depends on which theme you go for though." Hana knew that some were just like any other hotel room, while others had themes that were borderline terrifying. Some people had strange fantasies, but she wasn't really going to judge them for that.

She barely noticed how close they were to the front of the line until Alex actually reminded her of it. Hana had been really invested in their conversation rather than when they'd be able to board the ride, after all. When it was their turn to get on next, Hana looked from the roller coaster seats and over at Alex. She eagerly nodded her head and finally slipped her hand out of Alex's a bit hesitantly. To be honest, Hana was a little bit disappointed to let go, but she needed to let the blonde get on the ride to begin with. When the employee nearby the ride gestured them over, Hana let Alex go first before following after her. She sat down on the seat beside her and within the next few seconds, the safety bars were pulled over their waists and the roller coaster came alive.

//you can timeskip to after ig, i don't think there's anything important that'd actually happen on the ride unless you had something in mind ^^

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

It didn't seem like Aimee's protests mattered at all because the other two girls were still continuing forward, following the directions listed at the bottom of the text message. It did make her wonder about the smaller girl though. Had she not been threatened with a secret? The only reason Cameron was going along with following some stupid text was because of it. She didn't need other people finding out about that shit. Otherwise, she would've just thought this was some very well organized prank. There was nothing she could say to comfort Aimee, because honestly, Cameron agreed with her. Instead she stayed quiet. Everything about receiving threatening texts from unknown numbers screamed "dangerous". As menacing as it seemed, there was no way in hell she was turning back.

    Right, down the hallway, left.

They finally made it to the room mentioned in the text. Cameron stood back as Lucy opened the door, and she brushed past the other girls to examine what was inside. She pointed the light all over the room to find that there wasn't a person waiting there, but a message. "Check your phones." Instead of doing just that, however, Cameron continued flashing the light on one of the red letters drawn out on the wall. The top half of the letter was dry for the most part by now, though she could see little red droplets dripping from the bottom. The sight of it made her brows furrow. Now that she was thinking about it, wouldn't the smell of paint be a lot stronger? This was way too unusual and stereotypical.

She only lowered her phone down from the red message to examine the latest text sent. This one was definitely a little more unnerving than the last, with detailed descriptions ensuring there was no escape from their school. Cameron looked up from the screen while rolling her eyes slightly. "Yeah... I'm not really in the mood for this today. There's no way every single door in this school is locked. I'm going to go look around."

    MAIA CHAMBERS

Maia didn't really mind when Lucy suddenly sped up and took the lead in their group. As long as they were all going in the same direction, it didn't really matter who was in what order. They soon arrived at the room, and she let Lucy and Cameron go in first before entering herself. Once she was inside, she pointed the light around and immediately felt a weird sensation in the pit of her stomach. This was really making her feel uncomfortable in a way she was sure she had never felt before. "Yeah... this is really weird..." Her voice was a feeble little mutter. It was easy to tell that she was starting to get a little bit freaked out now. Maia looked away from the red writing on the wall and looked at the latest message on her phone. She didn't want to spend time thinking about whether or not the paint was actually paint or not.

She definitely agreed with Cameron about not being feeling like dealing with this shit. Sure, she was the one who said that being in the dark would set the mood for all the creepy things they'd find, but this? This was just going a little bit too far. "I don't really know if you should go alone though. People always die in the horror movies that way." Strange. Wasn't comparing what was happening now to a horror movie saying something? Her thoughts came to a quick halt when she heard a noise coming from down the hallway. Her brown eyes began to widen and she could feel her heart starting to race. What the hell was that? The sounds got louder, and louder, like it was approaching. Maia quickly turned to the door and flashed her light there, only to see several other members of the drama club. She let out a huff of air in relief. So those had just been footsteps, right? Hopefully?

"You guys are in here too? Did you get the texts?" one of the males in the new group said. That only brought up even more questions. Why was everyone receiving the messages? Wasn't this just a prank?

"Wait. If everyone's here, then who sent it?"

    CAMERON MORGADO REYES

This was all just getting more and more unexplainable by the second. Cameron looked back at the drama kids who were crowding around by the opening of the door and staring at their phones or the writing on the wall with comically wide eyes. If anything, the sight of them just made her feel a little bit frustrated. Who the hell bothered making a plan this elaborate? If this really was some prank, it wasn't very amusing. She blinked and glanced down at Aimee as she began speaking, and by the time the shorter girl was done, the brunette's head was slightly tilted. Of all people who would volunteer to go with her, she wasn't expecting Aimee. Especially considering how timid she was in the past few minutes. Exploring the dark hallways was probably one of the scariest things to do at a time like this, especially now that they were receiving orders from this unknown person. Maybe that's why she was tagging along? Was she even the type to actually go along with what this dude was saying?

It was hard to tell what Cameron was thinking from her neutral expression. Her lips were pressed into a thin line as she stared at Aimee before eventually shrugging. "Sure, okay." Cameron didn't think anything would go wrong with her following. Plus, she didn't think Aimee would be the type to question what she was doing or be stupid enough to roam away. "We're going to head down the 400 hallway first then, towards the entrance of the school. You guys can do what you want. For all we know, there might not even be anyone to overpower. Splitting up into groups covers more ground." Without saying anything else, she headed towards the door, brushing past one of the drama kids as she did so. The rest who were huddled nearby the door quickly cleared an opening for her to walk through. Cameron walked right past them and turned to the right of the hallway. Although she didn't stop and wait for Aimee, she did slow her pace down so the other girl could catch up.

    MAIA CHAMBERS

Stealing, huh? So that's what Lucy's command entailed? Maia was glad she hadn't gotten something like that. Compared to what Lucy got, her own demand was pretty mediocre. It was a good thing too, because Maia wouldn't be able to bring herself to steal, even if it was just a piece of gum or something like that. She just... wasn't really the type of person. She wondered what everyone else received in their text messages, and as much as she wanted to ask, the brunette knew that they were probably kept hidden for a reason. Revealing all of them out to everyone might instigate a fight, especially if these orders would end up being mandatory. How these orders would be enforced was something that Maia was unsure about, and at the same time, she really wasn't sure if she wanted to know. That is, if this actually wasn't just some finely crafted prank.

"Agreed. We should probably go check all the exits before we do anything else." If it turned they could actually leave, then what plan did they have to make? If she was able to, Maia was going to get the hell out of here and never return until Monday. All she wanted to do was forget about this strange experience. It was true that by splitting up, they'd probably be able to find out if there was an unlocked door a lot faster, but Maia liked the idea of sticking with the rest of the people present. Having that many people around was just safer for many obvious reasons. "So, uh, I guess we go check the opposite hallways then? I mean, those two are already gone and there's no point in following after them." Hopefully Cameron and Aimee would be fine despite their lack in numbers. Surely there wasn't actually some weird psycho lurking around in the dark hallways?

"Let's start going now. I want to leave this place." One of the kids standing near the door nodded before taking the lead down the other hallway. The students filed out of the room and followed close behind.
