Weekly tasks were evidently very popular in both BlizzardClan and HawkClan. Piedpiper had already carried out two, what was a third? "I'll take a weekly task," the dark smokey tabby spoke up, trotting over to join the other male.

His hazel eyes quickly turning onto Aleksei as the BlizzardClan leader approached, Piedpiper's body tensed, picking up on his growing anger. "Deathstroke"? Who the hell was that? Glancing back at the wannabe assassin, Piedpiper frowned. He had never heard of a "Deathstroke" before, but it was clear that the wolf was unwanted. Watching intently, he waited for the canine's reaction.

Piedpiper glanced towards Roman as the sole non-BlizzardClanner approached. "Shadow Veil, right?" The scent was recognisable, but aside from that small knowledge, Piedpiper had very little experience with the anti-clan. "Piedpiper," the dark tabby repeated his name for the apprentice's benefit. "HawkClan-BlizzardClan. What's the Shadow Veil like?" Out of all the other BlizzardClan allies invited, it seemed that Shadow Veil was the most faithful, even if only by one member.

"So you weren't born in BlizzardClan?" Neither had Piedpiper, but he was born with some clan heritage. His mother had often described the clans to him in his youth, and he had grown up with stories of his grandparents, leaders of old clans no longer in existence, or so radically changed that it was essentially so - the Skulls, ScarClan, and BloodClan. "I see." He didn't know what else to say regarding Tavi's rank change. It wasn't quite a pity, after all.

Piedpiper glanced to Wanxi as the black molly spoke up, offering a polite, if somewhat tentative, smile. "Yeah, it is now. And thanks, I'm Piedpiper." Their polite conversation soon died out however, as she turned on Rhaelarys. He was surprised by her firey response, considering the fact that in all of their few previous encounters she had always come off as a quiet, even timid, individual.

He hid a grimace as Wanxi spoke of his "bond" with the porcupine. Piper had brought the porcupine to the medics after its burning and was keeping it in his house for now, yes, but the young warrior hadn't really thought of his relationship with the porcupine in that manner before. It was just... there. He didn't know what was motivating him, but he felt obligated to look after the stubborn creature.

"You really have a vendetta against this little guy, huh? What did it to do to you?" He spoke up after Rhaelarys' cold defence. Piedpiper was accustomed to killing for subsistence, but he only did it out of necessity, he couldn't fathom why Rhaelarys had treated the porcupine so violently before and still seemed to desire hurting it. "Oh please, you had left the creature to die. You shoved it to the side after you were done playing to watch the show. You even told me you hated the smell of burning flesh."

Thread with Piedpiper? He's usually pretty out-going but he's more shy/nervous around females, so he'll definitely be more subdued around her.

"Gosh," Piedpiper couldn't help but let out a laugh of disbelief as he watched the would-be assassin turn tail and flee. This guy was an assassin? Assassins were supposed to intelligent and capable - this guy was so incompetent that he was found out within minutes of arriving at the border. Whoever hired him ought to ask for their money back. What assassin used the same name twice? Piper almost felt secondhand embarrassment for the wolf.

Deathstroke sure gave up quickly too, at least he had some degree of self-perservation. But damn, Piper was still laughing over the fact that this guy was self-proclaimed. Anyone could title themselves anything - whatever his day job was, it would be best for Deathstroke to keep it. His hazel eyes then flickered towards Tavi, put off by her obvious fear. Shouldn't a deputy show more courage? And good grief, she was worried about Deathstroke of all animals? It was reasonable to be cautious, but fear was more credit than Deathstroke deserved.

"SunClan, right?" So they were allies with both BlizzardClan and HawkClan. Following after Ravelights, Piedpiper paused beside his colourful clansmates, his hazel eyes resting on Thea's massive shape many times the size of his own tabby form. Dragons still looked strange to him, but he was becoming more accustomed to their species, given their relative frequency throughout the clans. "We had a rough storm go through." Rough was probably putting it lightly. "I'm Piedpiper."

Piedpiper had turned at the loud noises, observing silently as Rhaelarys had cornered an unfortunate mouse, backing off for a moment, before going in for the kill. For all of the stereotypes of cats playing with their food, drawing out their prey's suffering, the dark smokey tabby had never felt much of a desire to draw out his kills. Eating was his goal. Everything in between was just labour.

He ignored the kitsune's question. "Didn't anyone ever teach you how to hunt properly?" The young warrior jutted his chin outward, gesturing towards the gory mess of a mouse. "You nearly split it in half." There were blood and entrails everywhere. "You're gonna have to eat it fast before the bugs get to it."

Piedpiper had returned with the medics, Nicklaus and Irene, pausing a short distance behind the pair so as to give them space to look over the ailing stranger. When Orthrus suddenly regained consciousness, teeth snarling and gnashing, Piper quickly grew tense, ready to interfere if necessary. But it was quite unnecessary as the canine soon lurched forward, preoccupied with their own bodily weakness. "Lemme know if you need anything," the young warrior muttered to Nicklaus and Irene, watching on intently. Could the medics treat Orthrus out here in the open? Or would it better to return to camp? Or at least relocate to an area with more coverage? He wanted to help but he didn't know what else to do but stand by and watch.

It had been a little over a week since Piedpiper had come to the clans, joining HawkClan and then later BlizzardClan. He was enjoying his new life thus far, but found that he knew far more animals in BlizzardClan than HawkClan, a fact that made him a little sad since HawkClan was his first clan. So today the smokey tabby was determined to put an active effort into befriending more of his clanmates. Wandering around the HawkClan camp now, he surveyed the destruction of the recent storm. Fortunately not too many HawkClanners had gotten injured.

Herb identification? Piedpiper had never really took much interest in berries, flowers and other plants, but since coming to the clan his eyes had been opened to the many uses for herbs, particularly as medicine. Hearing Irene's voice, his interest was naturally piqued. Striding over to join the small group, he quietly took a seat beside Rhaelarys, stifling a chortle at the kitsune's severe expression. Life was hard enough as it was; he couldn't understand why Rhaelarys went through life seemingly eager to inflict suffering upon others. Piper knew a good life when he saw it, and life had been markedly lonelier and leaner before he had joined BlizzardClan.
