✦ ✧ ✦ everything had gone smoothly with her taking over the clan. or at least, she had assumed that it had, since she wasn't challenged that greatly on the matter. and the khel had seemed alright with things, so she was here to stay it seemed. she'd still be going back and forth to her home in the highlands of course, but she was determined to make everything work out. the first order of business would be make sure that the clan was aware of the change, as well as let them know some important key things that would be happening within the clan. "members of the kinship circle! please gather for a clan meeting." while she was aware that the circle wasn't very populated, she was determined to change that. starting small could in part do her good.

✦ ✧ ✦ as far as she was aware, the exiles were currently a neutral of the kinship circle, but it also had been some time since the kinship circle had anything to do with those outside its borders. and the obsidian wolf had many other clans to speak with. she was just hopeful that she could pull this off. she'd never done this before, but she wanted to do the right thing here. she knew it was only fair that she went to inform the leader of the exiles of her takeover. she'd hope that any clan she would become allies with in the future would in turn show that they were having changes in leadership as well. "i'd like to speak with the leader of the exiles if i may. i have some things to discuss with him or her." she was unaware that the exiles had two leaders working side by side, rather than just one sole leader. soon enough however, she'd discover the truth behind this.

✦ ✧ ✦ the obsidian wolf had much to do, and many clans to visit that day. she'd recently become leader of the kinship circle, and knew that she needed to go and inform their allies of the leadership change. while she had no leadership experience, she felt that she'd be able to learn as she went, and hopefully would be successful. as she neared the border, she took a hesitant breath, nerves running through her body. calm yourself, all you have to do is ask for the leader, and explain the matter. they'll more than likely be pleased that you came to inform them of the change. she forced herself to calm down, taking careful note of how close to the border she was. thinking she may as well leave some space between herself and the border, she backed up to what she considered a reasonable distance. "i'd like to speak to the leader if i may please! i have some important matters to discuss!" she hoped this wouldn't take very long.

✦ ✧ ✦ it wasn’t long before someone showed up, and shortly after the leader did as well. "i’m here to inform you that there has been a change in leadership within the kinship circle. i’m blackroses, i now lead the kinship circle. and from my understanding, our clans are allies. i’d like to discuss if you’d like to remain allies or not, as well as plan an event between our clans should you decide that you’d like to remain allies. it’s a pleasure to meet you trashboat." she would dip her head a she greeted the male, making sure she was being polite. the male seemed nice enough, and hoped that all could remain well between their clans.
// thank you!!

✦ ✧ ✦ two leaders? whoops.... she didn’t realize there were two leaders here. was this female upset with her over this slip up? had she been rude in some way? blackroses couldn’t be sure. but she would smile, and force herself to remain polite. "my apolgies miss glasshouse, i was unaware that there happened to be two leaders here. once shrivenshade arrives, i can go into more detail but for he time being, let me explain why i’m on your border. i’m here to inform you that the kinship circle has had a change in leadership. i now am the leader there, blackroses. i assumed that despite us being neutrals, i could discuss whether you both would like to remain neutrals or not." she knew that the exiles weren’t exactly the best group to be prying around, however, she did want to at least inform them of the change, as well as potentially see where their alliance lied.
-
✦ ✧ ✦ two members had gathered, and with the current circumstances she assumed that it would be alright to begin. "first things first, for those of you who don’t know me, my name’s blackroses. for those of you i don’t know, feel free to take this as an opportunity to introduce yourself." after a slight pause, she would continue, as she felt obligated to explain why she was calling the meeting, as well as who she was in more depth. "i may as well explain a little more about why i’m the one calling this meeting, as well as who i am. i’ve noticed the clan’s lack in activity and upon further investigstion, discovered that your former leader, miss eiva hadn’t been seen ot heard from in a week’s time. i have come to see what i can do to make your clan whole again, which i can thank kheleesos for. i’m thankful that he has given me the opportunity to attempt to revive the kinship circle. this isn’t just a task that relies solely on me. it is a team effort, and i’m positive that we can all make the clan what it used to be." she’d pause again, to give the pair as well as the gathered npcs time to have the full effect of her words. "a little more about myself, is that i currently hold a dual alliance with the highlands, which was formerly known as the frontier. i still will continue to hold my dual alliance there, in order to keep relations between our clans strong. if you are in a similar situation, then i’ll say that i allow you to hold dual alliances, just make sure you know where your loyalties lie." for the moment, she’d be done speaking, as she looked to the crowd for any questions, concerns, or introductoons from pascal whom she didn’t know. if khel also went and gave an introduction, she would be satisfied with that as well.
-
✦ ✧ ✦ the female was the first to approach her, and blackroses kindly dipped her head in greeting to the girl. "it’s not a problem. my name’s blackroses, and i’m here to inform your leader that the kinship circle has had a leadership change. i’m also here to check on the status of our alliance, as well as see how we want to proceed." she didn’t want to overwhelm the girl with her reason of being here, so she kept her reasoning to the bare minimum. she’d likely hear the rest as soon as the leader came about.
-
✦ ✧ ✦ she didn’t have to wait all that long it seemed, as the leader was the first to stumble upon her. "greetings, my name’s blackroses and i came to inform you that the kinship circle has had a change in leadership. i now lead the group, and wanted you and your clan to be aware of the change. i also wanted to check up on the status of our alliance, and see if you’d like to keep things the way they are or not. if you would, we could discuss a possible event between our clans as well should you see it fit." the girl seemed nice, and blackroses hoped that she’d be getting to know her better in the future.
-
✦ ✧ ✦ they weren’t allies? how weird. she could have sworn they were. this was just one thing she wanted to fix during her rule. she wanted to keep good comunication between them and their allies. "it’s not a problem at all. we both were unaware of the status it seems. in the future i will be sure to do a better job of keeping you informed. and i thank you for your honesty. if you’d like to host an event that’d be swell. as soon as we set a date for our first oak tree festival we will be sure to invite you, as a thanks for you hosting the first event." she would return the smile, thankful of how he had chosen to handle this situation. she had high hopes that she would get to know trashboat better in the future, and that this type of confusion would not repeat.
// our guide may have been super outdated maybe bc it said y’all were allies so i just assumed we were oof

✦ ✧ ✦ she didn’t know that much about her clanmates, and she knew that wasn’t a good thing. she wasn’t a good leader if she didn’t know her clanmates. so, she figured that the best thing she could do was hold a meet and greet, in order to get to know the members of the clan better. "members of the kinship circle, join me for a meet and greet please! " her call would hopefully be loud enough to reach all members of the camp.

-
✦ ✧ ✦ she raised a brow as he spoke, not sure if she liked his tone or not. "blackroses. leader of the kinship circle." she didn’t care to add in anything else to him, as she wasn’t sure if she should. regardless she was stuck with this guy until she was greeted by the leader.

✦ ✧ ✦ // lmao ouch shriv + ic opinions <3
blackroses would merely blink at the comments of the group. "i’m not originally from the kinship circle. i was merely informed that you were our allies. i do apologize that i was wrongly informed. and i suppose if you wish to consider us fair game i have no right to object." what was she even supposed to say in response to these ill manner rouges? maybe it would be a smarter choice to consider them enemies? raising a brow, she’d ask the same question that shrivern had. "i suppose i could ask you what you’d give to us? how would we benefit from consider you an ally?" pause. let it sink in. calm yourself. "nothing. i don’t see any way we would benefit from having bloodthirsty savages as an ally who could turn on us at a moments notice." this would surely ruin things further but they already had begun that game.
