The white feline had heard anything since he went to get some herbs, expecting the leader to be in his den by the time he got back out. But he seemed to have made it to the medicine cat den. That was fine he supposed. Buzzardpaw really didn't care how the leader got water as long as they got the water. His blue eyes looked back to the leader, "Do you have a headache or is it more chills?" .

He was tired trying to pick up where he left off and trying to get everyone healthy again. It was hard but this was the job of being a medicine cat apprentice, he was going to do his best. Making his way over, he decided to take a moment to say hello to his fellow clan mates. "Hello." .

His greeting had gone unnoticed it seemed and the medicine cat apprentice decided to move on. The white feline paused and thought about what he needed to get done today. Collecting some herbs and maybe cleaning out the medicine cat den would be nice. Buzzardpaw was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice what they were planning. "" .

He came running over with cobwebs to stop the bleeding. What in Starclan happened? Who would attack a kit like this? But he would leave the justice to the warriors, as he needed to focus on the wounds. It seemed feverfew and poppyseeds were given already, he sent a thankful glance to Haypaw. The apprentice also gave the kit some horsetail, "This will help prevent infection and help stop the bleeding." .

His blue eyes looked to Morningfrost and gave a nod. He didn't care many joined them to eat, since it was a sign of friendship right? The apprentice moved to get closer to the prey, "Why don't you pick something out Rabbitkit?" .

"Buzzardpaw." the medicine cat apprentice was uncomfortable and wasn't sure what to do at this point. The white feline wished that he had a warrior with him to deal with this situation. "You aren't allowed here, a warrior will be by soon. So why don't I just walk you back to the border?" he offered, it was better than a fight breaking out.

He wasn't ready for this, oh Starclan he was not ready for this. Why did Cloudcatcher leave? Where was Finchpaw? The white feline waited for the sun to go down and as warriors retreated to their dens he looked to the stars. He never got a chance to speak to Cloudcatcher about his strange dream and he hadn't seen the other medicine cat apprentice around in a while. The only one left to talk to was the leader but he was scared. Buzzardpaw didn't know how to deal with the spreading illness, hell he didn't know how to deal with a lot of medical problems. He was only a moon into his training and had only meant the other medicine cats once. Buzzardpaw noticed a shooting star and took that was a sign to go speak with the leader. The white feline got to his paws and made his way over to where he thought the leader would be. His mind swelling with emotions and thoughts, Starclan guide him please. " Jasper.. ?" .

"Someone should help move him inside the nursery. I would like to speak to Jaguarkit's mother." the white cat spoke next, following for whoever to come and take the kit inside. He would then wait for the mother to step forward so they could speak in privacy. It wasn't about punishing her or anything. The medicine cat apprentice simply wanted to inform them about the potential damage that could remain on the young kit. Such as lost of eye sight or infection.

"Cloudcatcher is gone." the words should have left his mouth in a more graceful manner but he was panicked to say the least. His mentor, the only cat within the clan that could save everyone, had up and vanished. Buzzardpaw stumbled out an apology, assuming that the leader had already learn of this. His blue eyes darted around the room and wished more than ever that his sister was here. No, he needed to be stronger than this. "I had a strange dream and I think it was from Starclan. But I don't know what it means, I was going to ask Cloudcatcher but... I'm sorry, I wish I was further in my training to help you. Maybe we should ask another medicine cat to come here and help you."

He never expected to be attacked, let alone within camp. So he was startled to say the least when he felt a kit jump on his back. Buzzardpaw let out a gasp in surprise and was easily pushed to the ground. What in Starclan? "" .

He felt a chill go down his spine when they said they would enjoy a win. Were they really that strong to defeat one of Windclan warriors? Were they really fast enough to kill Buzzardpaw before a warrior got here? The feline decided he would rather not push his luck and tried to think of a way out of this. He didn't want to make them mad but he also didn't want them hanging out any longer. "I-I'm sure you would." he let out a nervous laugh, "But I would rather not see a fight. I'm the medicine cat here- or er the apprentice of one. I like to avoid injuries. We can keep talking, near the border if you want?"

This was too much for the young soul, first he had to worry about his clan and the sickness, now he had to be looking after these kits! Starclan give him a break, didn't they know how dangerous it was to be out alone. Even after what happened to that other kit, poor soul. Buzzardpaw made his way forward about to say something when he noticed the older cat. Er... His blue eyes looked around before moving forward, "Uh, hey. Sorry about the kits, they should know better than to sneak out. Did you need something?" .

"Wouldn't he have told us?" he said, wishing it wasn't true. But he believed Cloudcatcher left them to die, left because of the stress maybe? The white feline wished there was more he could do. Maybe if he went to the place to speak with Starclan he would get a more clear answer, though he wasn't sure. "As the sky awaits for it's brother's return, time will tick by and the wind will still. That's what I heard, but I don't know what it means." Buzzardpaw was puzzled by the words and wished Cloudcatcher was here to help him figure it out. "Maybe you could send some warriors to ask, since I don't want to leave the camp without a medicine cat. Even if I am still just an apprentice." some knowledge was better than none, right?

When he was a kit, he didn't do much but walk around the Darkclan camp. His hearing made it hard to ever know what was going on and the fear of dying like his two siblings kept him from exploring outside. Buzzardpaw didn't do anything grand till his mother, Twilightrise, forced him to leave to Windclan. To live with his father, Eaglespirit, but he hadn't seen them in a while. He often wondered how his mother was doing back in Darkclan but his home was here now. The medicine cat apprentice had to keep Windclan healthy, which included talking to kits about never leaving camp. Though, he wasn't sure if they would listen to him. "Rabbitkit?" .

Maybe they didn't want to go home? Buzzardpaw thought about how he once wanted to return to his mother in Darkclan. But now he played an important role in Windclan, this was his home. The white feline wanted to do his best here and recently felt like he had been failing with the sickness spreading. His blue eyes looked around again before landing on, what he thought to be, a strange cat. "I see." he wished their was a way to chase him off but there was no way he could without suffering from injuries. "Is there a reason you came here?"

Oh boy indeed. Buzzardpaw didn't consider himself to be very fatherly or even brotherly. He never had a real father figure in his life, he never had to worry about kits like this before. But someone had to try and do something before another kit got injured. There was only so much the apprentice could do with the knowledge he had.
