Buzz was a not a good medicine cat. He was here and there but never really gave it his all. Over time, adjusting to his lost of hearing. He began to slur his words, sometimes not making any sense with his sentences. Unable to hear and starting to forget what some words sounded like. He was loosing touch with his clan mates and with his faith. But he knew he couldn't just disappear yet, he had to give Windclan a fighting chance with an other medicine cat. So the white feline made his was to the center of the camp, feeling all eyes on him. "Windclan! I sorry for absence!" he calls out, feeling embarrassed by his strange speech. "I would like to pick my new apprentices. But before that I would like to say, once they are fully trained I would like to step down. I had many chances to step up but failed. So I would like to train the next and go to elder den." he says, pausing to let the info sink in.

"Hawkkit and Fogpaw. If you two are still interested, I would like you to step forward."

Buzzardflight had said he would step down soon but he still had some things to take care of. Like training his new apprentices and making sure the medicine cat den was in order. Cleaning out some old herbs before a new idea came to mind. The white tom slipped out of his den, into the chilly morning air. It was only going to get colder and colder. Colds were bound to start popping up and he wanted to be ready for them. "Check ups over here!" the deaf tom called out, his blue eyes looking out for his clan mates.

Buzzardflight gave a small nod, eyes landing on Morningfrost. They were considered a close friend to the deaf feline. But he knew he had let many others down and not just this tom in front of him. Offering them a small stare before returning to look at Hawk. Training would be hard, with him being deaf and them being blind. But he would do his best to manage and make them the best medicine cat he could. "" .

My, my. When had there been so many kits? Buzzardflight really was loosing touch with his clan. But it was a good thing that he had apprentices now. The white feline caught sight of Hawkpaw. They would have to learn to trust their ears as he learned to trust his eyes. "Hawk, why don't you come over here by me and Polarkit." he asked of them, giving the kit a smile. Sneezes could be from allergies but also from a cold starting to come up. "Why don't you try pressing your ear to their chest. Tell me if it sounds congested. It is something I cannot hear anymore." he explained. Leaving them to do that while he moved onto Dawnkit.

They looked perfectly healthy, with clear eyes and their nose not sniffling. Raising a paw, he would gently press into their chest to feel for any kind of congestion. "If you are feeling well and also seem to full of energy. I am sure leaf bare will be easy for you, Dawnkit. Be sure to let me know if something changes and do your best to keep warm." he says, allowing them to stay and watch the check ups if they wished to. Swanpaw reminded him of himself. White with blue eyes. He lost his hearing completely a couple of moons ago. But before then it had troubles hearing those around him, often just getting mumbles.

"Anything bothering you lately, Swanpaw?" he asked.

Buzzardflight never heard their words but he could see them. Kits. He wanted to punish them every time they sneak out. But he suppose he should be more relaxed about it. His blue eyes looked over the situation. What was happening. The white tom made his move to get closer to the small group, "What's happening?" .

He saw movement from the side, turning to face whoever was approaching. His brother. Buzzardflight wished he put more effort into his family. But struggling with his apprenticeship and lost of hearing. He hardly had time for anything else, plus they were busy as well. Blue eyes looked over Owlpaw before offering them a kind smile at their question. "It isn't fair to hold the title if I do nothing with it." did that make sense? To him it did. "If I get better than I might stay but the least I can do is train the next medicine cat to be the best."

It was hard to follow along. His eyes darting between each kit, trying to understand what they were trying to say. But they weren't all facing him and he couldn't use his ears. Buzzardflight picked up on pieces but he supposed the whole story could wait till later. "Back to camp, now." he says, moving forward to pick up the frozen kitten. He would aim to carry them back to camp and make sure the others followed him back.

He was happy to see that the two seemed to accept his offer. Good. Buzzardflight would allow them to adjust for a day before getting started. His attention was taken by Frostfall. Blue eyes landed on their face as he tries to understand the angry words leaving them. The tom didn't move as they advice closer to him. Allowing their to be a moment of silence before he started to speak. "Stealing? I'm not taking anything by force, it was Fogpaw's choice to accept. Even if I spoke with you first and you said no, my choices would still remain the same. I picked Hawkkit and Fogpaw with good reason. You should be proud that your apprentice was picked. They'll make a fine medicine cat." .

With more cats joining it, he found it hard to keep up. Blue eyes flickering face to face. Trying to understand what they were saying with no sound. He finally decided to just walk away from the situation. "Hawkkit and Fogpaw, take your time adjusting and come see me when you are ready to get started on training." he attention was put to the newly made medicine cat apprentices. The white tom would then begin to walk away.

Their words never reach him. His blue eyes scan over the herbs within the den. Trying to figure out what needed to be tossed out and what they needed more of. Buzzardflight had no blue of the comotion happening right outside. It wasn't till a cat came tapping at his leg that he turned away from his work. He tries to follow along and understand them. But he ended up just following them out into the open of the camp, confused. Looking up he then noticed the small group of cats near one that was bleeding. His heart began to thump nervosuly in his chest as he makes his way closer. "" .

He had been summoned by some random cat who bothered to come get him. Since their calls for his name never worked. He was deaf after all. The medicine cat moved closer, looking over each cat. Unsure of who was hurt at the moment or why exactly they had asked him to come over here. "What happened?" .

His eyes fall down to their paw as they turn it over. Had they stepped on a thorn? Buzzardflight moved forward to get a better look, his blue eyes scanning over the paw. Looking for a thorn but found none and it was hard to see if the stinger was still there. The white tom paused for a moment, "Try soaking your paw in water, maybe the thorn will fall out." .

There were a lot of cats around and he sure hoped they weren't all trying to speak at him at once. The tom moved closer to the injured, blue eyes scanning over their form to only see blood from their mouth. Had they busted up their lip or maybe lost a tooth? But as he got closer, he could see what the injury was. Dear, Starclan. Buzzardflight never seen or dealt with a mouth injury before and this was something he had never heard of before. Would they be able to eat? Drink? Groom? Swallowing nervously, the medicine cat offered a kind nod to them. "Open mouth?" .
