❝ THE WORLD HAS GROWN COLD ❞ while out on a stroll, she hadn’t expected anything out of the ordinary to occur. in all honesty, she assumed that it would be a normal thing. one without any questions having to be asked. then again, she didn’t have any reason to question anything. but when she spotted the cougar on a rock on the opposing side of the border, she was suspicious of what his intent was. she could smell his scent, and while she didn’t know the status of the relationship bwteen their groups, she couldn’t let him lou ge about so close to the border. without good reason anyways. "may i help you?" her question was short and simple. yet one that held her tone of authority.

thalasso soon arrived, offering a simple nod of greeting to the males. logan was one she had not yet had a chance to interact with, but she was going to take the current opportunity "greetings areis, logan." she’d heard of logan but not actually met him. meaning as the wolf was the only one she didn’tknow, she assumed he was logan. she wasn’t quite sure what else to contribute to the conversation, so she’d wait to be spoken to.

"pleasure to meet you both. i’ve come to see if you would be interested in forming an alliance, or at the least making an agreement to become neutrals. this is completely up to you, as i know the past archdruids of the overgrowth haven’t been the best at communication."now, she’d allow poe to answer before she said anything else. even if he decided to become enemies, she would respect that. she just wanted to be sure everyone was on the same page on how the situation was between their groups.

"he has not. is there a reason for this? y’all were the ones who dropped us without reason might i add." she responded, brows raised as she lashed her tail to the side silently. why wouldn’t this new leader visit sooner to inform them of the changes? to explain why they had been dropped without any notice before hand, especially if he wanted to form an alliance.

❝ THE WORLD HAS GROWN COLD ❞ once again, it would seem as if thalasso would be the first to find another new joiner. this was a good thing. they were growing again. more members meant more activity. and more activity meant they would not be forgotten as it seemed they had been before. "greetings stranger. what can i do for you?" she kept her tone friendly, and cool, as she saw no reason to treat this male with any hostility. he wasn’t doing anything after all. he likely was a joiner, and would be a welcomed member, however she had to be sure he was actually joining. he could be an ambassador or anything else really.

thalasso listened as alexsandsr spoke. she knew that restoring a clan when it was all but gone was difficult. she was going through the same thing. but she wasn’t ready to share this with the male. it wasn’f exactly the right time. and he currently belonged to an enemy clan. but he seemed friendly enough.... but that was besides the point. she was tired and exhausted from everything she’d been trying so hard to do for the overgrowth. "i see. well when your leader gets the time please do have him visit. i’m willing to discuss everything that has happened and potientally form an alliance." she’d cast another glance at the male, who was on the other side of this invisible boundary. but what really caught her attention, was the fact that he felt the need to give a reason as to why he was so close to the border. she didn’t expect him to say anything about this in all honesty. but regardless, she would be satisified with the answer given. she didn’t really have an answer other than a chuckle, and nod of approvale at his reason. it was kind of cute if she was being honest.

"that’s me. please do let me know if you need anything. i’d be happy to get you whatever you need."while he’d lived here for some time (from what she understood anyways) she would still offer to help out since she was the one who’d been around the longest.

"thank you lamb. that’s an excellent idea. art rewards would be great, many people seemed to want art and will be willing to work for them. thank you. and accepting joiners and invites without status could be a good idea. perhaps it’d be for a limited time? then come the next event like this we have, we could allow others the samw opportunity?"she liked where this discussion was heading. everyone was getting involved and it was good. maybe one or two more ideas would be good before she could feel confident enough to move on and conclude the meeting after the final announcements.

thalasso nodded as she allowed his words to sink in. "that sounds like a nice idea. we can definitely host a meet and greet between our clans. i’m willing to have the overgrowth host that, to allow the thunderlands to host that barbeque. please do let us know if we need to help bring anything for that as well. i’ll get the meet and greet established and in turn, prepare my clan to invite y’all out. while we are filling the rankings everyone will be chilpin in with those matters. i’m glad we could make this happen." thalasso knew she had a habit of speaking more than she likely should. but she couldn’t help it. she didn’t know what a good balance was. she wanred to make sure that communication was kept up between the overgrowth and allies.

thalasso thought that the events would be a great idea. that would help everyone get to know each other and learn something from each other. "perhaps we could also hold a meet an greet, to start off with? that way everyone knows each other a decent amount beforehand?" it was only a suggestion, but when it had been proposed to her by other leaders she liked the idea. maybe hypokrisis woupd as well?

"i don’t see any problems with it, as long as you’re responsible with it. which i’m assuming you are. just of course don’t let the children have any or let it get out of hand." that was fair enough right? she hoped it would be sufficent because she didn’t know how else to answer. it personally wasn’t a choice she’d make but she wanted everyone to feel comfortable within the overgrowth. and she hoped she hadn’t offended him with the whole “be responsible” deal.

❝ THE WORLD HAS GROWN COLD ❞ thalasso was pleased that her request had been accepted without questioning. to be frank she was in no mood to explain herself to the male, who seemed to want to judge her. the comments of him staring only made her want to sink into her seat. she hadn’t really noticed. if you don’t count the fact that she had felt his eyes on herself, but did nothing. while thala was around the age of 21, she knew better than tk go crazy with the drinking. it was still early and appeared that a barfight was getting ready to happen. "thanks..." she muttered in a hushed tone towards iason (he seemed nice, maybe she’d get to know him better?) before she raised the glass to her lips, locking her gaze on the small whiskey. she’d likely chug it later and be done with it, but she had other issues to forget about at the moment. she took notice of logan to her right, and offered him a nod of greeting. she almost hadn’t seen him.
