Ophelia seemed to be broken out of her trance by the girl's voice. Her once shocked face shifted to a much different one. Her eyes were half lidded, and filled with a strange emotion as she looked over her new...servant? No...pet. She smiled, although it was somewhere in between comforting and predatory. "Well hello there~ I didn't expect to see you in here."

She reached her hand into the box, stopping short of Charlotte and offering her hand to the other. "I'm terribly sorry that you had to endure a trip in this crate, what's your name dear?" The vampire tilted her head curiously, still seeming to be completely enthralled by Charlotte.

"Charlotte~" Ophelia smirked, gently rubbing circles on Charlottle's hand with her thumb. After a moment of silence Lady Marvont cleared her throat, snapping her daughter out of her trance again. "I am Ophelia Marvont, and we're in my mother's home. She governs over New Thalkred, the town that the guards found you in." She explained quickly, her hungry gaze flickering over Charlotte now that she had a full view of her.

Ophelia's smirk seemed to grow at the explanation, her eyes seeming to light up a bit."Is that so? Well, what do you think about living here for awhile then? I think you'll like it~" She winked at Charlotte suggestively, placing a kiss on the back of her hand as she gently pulled it closer. "Think about it, free food and a soft bed." Lady Marvont raised an eyebrow at her daughter's statement. "If you're really hesitant about the offer however, then I can employ you to be my daughter's companion."

Ophelia grinned, thanking her mother quickly before leading Charlotte out of the room and into the hallway. "You're going to love it here Charlotte, just wait and see!"

She gave her a tour of the house, mansion more like, before stopping at her room. "This is my room, I'm sure I can get someone to set you up a nice guest room in one of these other rooms. They're mostly empty, we haven't lived here too long." Then the vampire paused and thought for a moment. "Unless...you wouldn't mind sharing a room with me~?"

"Perfect~"Ophelia winked before walking into her bedroom. The room was rather nice, a fireplace and a couch sat at one end on the room while a large, and comfortable looking, bed sat at the other. Near the windows at the back was a writing desk and a couple of bookshelves. The room was in a similar color scheme to rest of the mansion, red with grey and black accents. The vampire sighed in relief and reluctantly let go of Charlotte's hand, sitting down on the couch with a smile. "Are you hungry? I've already had dinner but I'm sure the cooks wouldn't mind making a quick meal for you."

"Oh we've got whatever you want dear." Ophelia winked and stood up, heading back outside into the hall for a moment before coming back and sitting next to Charlotte again. "Alright, they should be up with some food for you soon. I didn't what kind of meat you wanted so they're bringing a variety." She stretched, using the movement to 'accidentally' get a bit closer to Charlotte. "So, tell me about yourself."

Ophelia waved off the thanks. "Oh it's nothing Charlotte." She listened intently, giggling slightly. "Well I think that you're very interesting~ As for me? Well there's not much to tell really. We moved around quite a bit as I grew up, my mother was often hired as a strategist to help put down rebellions and wars and all that. So I never really had too many friends..." The vampire trailed off for a moment, a small frown on her face before she recovered. "But my mom's last employer liked her so well that he put her in charge of this town, he said that he trusted her to keep order and expand his hold in the new world. Although mother isn't too interested in expanding in his name, in hers however..." She trailed off with a sinister giggle.

"Oh trust me, I've travelled to plenty of cities in my time as well." She giggled again, although it was much more relaxed this time. "I certainly don't miss it though. I'm glad we're finally settled down somewhere for more than just a couple of decades." Ophelia was about to say something else but she was interrupted by a knock on the door. She frowned and got up to answer, coming back a moment later carrying a tray with a variety of meat on it. "Here you go! They're all hot and ready to be eaten!"

Ophelia giggled when she noticed Charlotte's tail, sitting down beside her again with the train in her lap. "I'm fine, but thanks for the offer. Oh and you don't have to call me something so formal, although it is cute." She winked before picking out a piece of meat with a fork, holding out to Charlotte as if she was going to feed her. "Open wide~"

Ophelia smirked at the slip up but she didn't comment on it. She grinned when Charlotte took a bite, wordlessly getting another piece of meat off the tray and offering it. She seemed to be in a similar trance like she was earlier when they first met; a love struck gaze that hid another, yet just as passionate, emotion as she stared at her prize. "You know, I've never seen a weredog before. If they're anything like you, then they must be a very cute species~"

Ophelia hummed in reaction, seeming to have suspected such information. She smirked as Charlotte blushed, a surprised look on her face at the transformation. She squealed when she saw the little fluffy creature that she had transformed into, setting the tray aside and gently picking her up. "Oh look at how adorable you are! I didn't think you could get any cuter!" She started to gently pet her, giggling slightly at the feeling of the fur on her skin. "I'm almost kind of jealous, I can't turn into anything this cute."

"Ah I see, I suppose it makes sense. Mental communication is interesting though, I've never seen that before either." She glanced over at the clothes on the couch before a mischievous grin grew on her face. "So if you were to transform back right now, you'd be naked right?" Ophelia winked before giggling and setting Charlotte back down on the couch. "Just kidding, I wouldn't peek on you like that. Unless you'd want me to of course, because how could I decline such an offer?"

Ophelia smirked and giggled, as if somehow knowing that Charlotte was blushing. "Well my bathroom is across the hall and I don't have a closet, you can change back here if you wish." She completely turned the other direction and even covered her eyes, a small giggle coming from her own actions. "I'm not looking, but if you're uncomfortable I can take you to my bathroom if you want. Whichever you prefer."

Ophelia internally debated whether or not to peek, one one hand she did say that she wasn't going to, on the other...well she supposed waiting couldn't hurt right? She snapped out of her thoughts as Charlotte sat down, smiling at her as she moved the tray back into her lap. "Remind me to show you what I can do another time, powers wise of course. For now however, are you still hungry?"

Ophelia shook her head, another smirk crawling onto her face as she offered Charlotte a piece of meat like before. "I suppose you could, but you're my guest and that would just be boring. Besides, I like feeding you~" She winked teasingly, suppressing a giggle when she noticed her tail wagging.

Ophelia smiled at her answer, a small yet satisfied hum escaping her as Charlotte moved closer. "So is there anything that you'd like to go do or see tomorrow?" She asked as she quickly picked another piece of meat and offered it to her. The vampire loved everything about her new...friend? That was a bit of foreign term. Regardless, she had to admit that watching Charlotte eat was making her hungry as well. The other girl's neck looked so tantalizing too, she could barely keep her eyes off of it.

"I wouldn't mind a walk around town either, I haven't really had the chance to explore it all that much yet." Ophelia quickly looked back into Charlotte's eyes before she was caught, giving her another smile as she picked another piece of meat. "However I've overheard my mother discussing some recent missing people so when we go out stay close to me alright? I wouldn't want you to get hurt, or worse."

Dyphilla hid a small giggle when she noticed Quill's movements, smiling at her when she looked up again. She glanced at her in surprise when she spoke, another grin forming on her face. "Dyphilla." She answered simply, trying not to confuse the griffin. "You're learning fast, such a good girl!" She was tempted to reach out and pet her but she decided against it, for now. After a few minutes of walking the pair arrived at a small creek in the forest, however the dryad stopped and gestured forward silently. At the creek was a lone buck, seeming not to have heard the pair yet.

"From what I've heard it started a couple of weeks ago but they haven't been looking into like they have now until a few days ago. They didn't think they were connected until that point." She answered after a moment of thought, trying to remember all that she overheard. "I haven't heard anything else about it though, my mother told them to not report in unless they had a lead."
