Bethany nodded and walked inside, forcing her blush down before she spoke again. "W-Well I still have a job, besides I think you could use a friend." She tried to smile comfortingly, honestly wanting to be friends with the vampire.

If Bethany had noticed Amanda's eyes then she didn't react to them, to busy glancing around the home before she started walking again. "Hm? Oh sure! Truth be told I'm a bit of a history buff so if anything I'll be asking you questions." She giggled at her little joke, but it wasn't far from the truth.

"Yeah, school nowadays gives you thirteen years of basic education. Although some of it isn't as useful as you might think, then you go on to get extra education or training for a job." Bethany wasn't completely sure what schools were like back in Amanda's day, but she knew that they weren't really taught as much as they should've been.
-
Bethany couldn't help but giggle as well, a small grin evident on her face. "Thankfully there has been plenty of progress made in terms of society since then. You should go out sometime and experience the world, a lot has happened." She winced after she spoke, she wasn't sure if Amanda wanted to be reminded of that.
-
Bethany shrugged as she walked, taking a moment to stretch. "To be fair, I don't go out too much myself. Other than for the necessities of course, I don't want to end up starving myself after all." She idly wondered where Beth had gone off to as she scoured the house, making sure that everything was in its proper plac.
-
"Ah well that's nice, I guess it's just you and I until she gets back." Bethany smiled, feeling her face grow just a bit warmer at that thought for some reason. She just hopes that Amanda's thirst for blood didn't spring up anytime soon, she didn't want to play hide and seek with a hungry vampire after all.
-
Bethany grinned at that, a giggle leaving her as she turned to look at Amanda. "All my questions? You may regret that soon enough." Her grin remained as she continued her duties about the house, soon finishing everything that she had to do on the ground floor.
-
Soon Bethany headed upstairs, quickly doing everything that she needed to do before she plopped down on a couch in the parlor with a relieved sigh. "Alright Amanda, quiz me!"
-
Nilla lightly hummed as she smoothed out a Beacon advertisement poster above her bed, falling back on it to examine her work with a grin. Apparently the faunus girl traveled light, as the only other thing she had brought with her was a duffle bag full of clothing and a small kit for maintaining her weapon. "Oooh these beds are so soft~" She muttered, nuzzling into the covers.
-
Nilla noticeably stuck her tongue out in protest at the mention of going to bed early, but she didn't say anything in protest. "Fine, but only because these beds are so comfy." Although truth be told, any bed was an improvement from the floor. With that in mind she quickly crawled under her covers, a satisfied hum leaving her.
-
Nilla twitched lightly in her sleep and seemed to move around a fair bit, this eventually resulted in her ending up on the floor with a surprised squeal. "I'm up! I'm fine!" She glanced around nervously before sighing in relief and standing up. After a quick stretch she got ready and cleaned her weapon as she waited.
-
"Aw that's so sweet!" Nilla smiled and quickly gave Kietha a hug before she could stop her. "Don't be afraid to crack the whip if you have to though, you're the boss remeber?" She honestly liked having her partner as the team leader, she felt honored and knew that she would do a good job.

Oooh character history
-
(Ah right sorry, I've been a bit busy recently so bear with me if I'm out of the loop :3)
Nilla blinked in surprise as her partner vanished right in front of her, a surprised hum leaving her before her eyes narrowed. "You think you can escape my hug that easily? No no no, you're still warm and I can smell you. There is no hiding from me." Then she smiled and reluctantly let go of Keitha. "Just something to keep in mind~!"
-
Nilla is the type of person that will eagerly stab someone for her friends and she gets attached easily so beware, also she's single as a pringle as well.
-
(its fine, trust me I know the feeling)
"Its improved majorly. Medical science alone has been revolutionized!" Bethany seemed to ramble on a bit as she spoke, but she covered just about everything that had changed since then. She did skim over a couple of things here and there but she got most of it.
-
"Hehe, well they hope to find an actual cure soon. At least, that's what they're trying to do." Bethany shrugged, she could only hope that they did. "Anything else you want to know?"
-
"Oh that? That's a car, they became popular back in the...early 1900s. They've improved a lot since then of course." Then Bethany smiled as she had an idea. "If you want I can take you for a drive and show you around the town."
-
Bethany nodded, glancing over Amanda for a moment before she giggled. "I'll get you some new clothes while we're out too. I think you'll enjoy the new clothes." Her smile grew at that idea, suppressing a blush as she though of Amanda in more...provocative clothing.
