Brackenpelt - Male - Chocolate tabby with hazel eyes - Amy.
-
A bad boy huehue
-
He's basically a Crowfeather rip
-
Bracken is open for apprentices!
-
Thank you for the compliments <3
Aa Blossomleaf is so cute!! I'm loving her already!!
-
Sameee I'm a sucker for ginger tabbies and calicos <33
Also I think that's a great idea! What would her new name be?
-
aa I love the prefix Leopard it's so gorgeous <33
For some reason all my females are calicos/torties? I just feel like it's most reasonable? But also i haven't roleplayed a female character in quite some time
-
Truee
What kind of cat do you think Leopardkit will be? A tabby with white spotting, a spotted tabby, bengal, or another that I'm blanking on? cx
-
Ahh yes I adore bengals, but they're rare to see in shelters (unless breeders/former owners abandon them) so I don't see a whole lot
I've only seen one in my life and that was in a shelter near my home. He had FPV so he had to get a home as an only cat (and I'm willing to bet that's why he was there in the first place). I was amazed actually because it was only 25$ to adopt him when he was such a rare, beautiful cat. Super friendly too!

NEEDS: Apprentice
CHARACTER NAME: Brackenpelt
MAIN ACCOUNT: Amy.
PREFERENCES: He would do well with anyone, but particularly someone who will need some pushing to do better. A problematic child would be good or even an apprentice who is just afraid to show they know what they're doing!
OTHER: na

The dark tabby was regularly amused by Blossomleaf's appearance in contradiction to her personality. He didn't quite understand, oftentimes wondering if she'd been given her suffix as some kind of joke. Blossomclaw or Blossomfang would have been much more fitting for the fiery calico. Huffing silently, Brackenpelt moved forward to join her and Tinypaw, grunting a greeting. "Why the sour look?" rumbled the warrior, an expression of disinterest on his face. His tail curled over his paws, one of which was lifted so he could begin cleaning his face.
-
ooc: Awkward mobile post (excuse errors) but wanted to get his intro up!
Brackenpelt was not the most fascinating cat. His hunting and fighting were mediocre, climbing rubbish, running average for a WindClan cat, and tracking decent. Even his ability to sneak was only subpar. To anyone, he was a basic a warrior as basic could come.
Fortunately and unfortunately his personality was a different story. A pure-blooded WindClan cat, Brackenpelt saw himself above some others in his clan. He wouldn't say that, however, to his credit. Instead he would hold his tongue, preferring to use it to give snarky remarks. He had a sharp tongue and quick witted mind, leading to frequent conflicts growing up. Needless to say he wasn't a popular apprentice. Still, one couldn't blame him, growing up with a dead mother and disinterested father.
An expressionless face staring at the sky, the cat exhaled through his nose. He shifted against the rock he was lying on, so that his paws and head were drooping off the front end and his belly and back legs were supported flawlessly. He'd hunted earlier and was now taking some down time before heading out again. How disinteresting.

I'll keep this short and sweet. My new WindClan character, Brackenpelt, is a generation one character in need of some family. The only rules I have is that they must have traditional names (nothing like Winterfur) and must remain in WindClan for at least three weeks real time. These are full-blooded WindClan cats.
To apply, simply state which litter you're applying for, name, gender, and appearance. You can add more if you like, but it's not necessary. c:

OHO dramatic stuff man !!
Aa I used to rescue kittens too! I did foster care, raising and bottle feeding babies but work piled up and I've had to take a break </3 Hopefully I can continue soon though!
-
That sounds nice! I live in an area where there aren't many (if any) street cats, so most of our shelters have owner surrendered pets (usually because the owner passed away or is in a care facility) or transfers from out of state since our neighboring states can get really booked with too many animals and not enough space.
But that's a wonderful thing! Taking care of them is such an important task, kudos to you <3

ooc: AA I love that rhyme with his name tbh <33
Perhaps he should have taken more time to learn his Clanmates' names. It seemed that was coming to bite him in the rear now. Over the past couple weeks, Brackenpelt had been sulking away from his duties and going out alone a lot. This had to do with a certain RiverClan she-cat mostly, but he wouldn't admit that ever. He was no traitor. The scent typically washed off before he returned, so no one suspected a thing. Except... Lightningtooth had called him out for being absent and, as punishment, told him to spend the day patrolling with Sheepleap. Honestly, he suspected Sheepleap would be acting more as his babysitter than as his equal (ew) but he had no place arguing with the deputy. Even if the deputy is a mouse-brain. Groaning to himself, the chocolate tabby swerved his head around camp, looking for whomever this 'Sheepleap' might be.

ooc: Sorry this is so late!! I totally forgot to post this the other day rip ^^'' Ravensong
It wasn't as if he was planning on meeting a RiverClan she-cat. The tom was loyal to his clan - blindingly loyal. WindClan respected him as a stand-up, tough warrior who was a harsh mentor but decent cat. Sure, he wasn't the warmest of individuals and didn't always have a pleasant personality. He still managed to earn some degree of respect from his Clanmates. So seeing a cat from another clan, much less developing feelings (despite how mild)? Unacceptable. Nevertheless, StarClan had a fate he could not foresee written up in the stars.
Oblivious to the events about to unfold, Brackenpelt moved in the direction of the shared stream with RiverClan. It was the best source of water they had and he was parched. Leaning down, he began lapping at the cool liquid, sighing as it soothed his throat.
