"oh, hey there!", chirped he as the lanky woman approached him. wow, did her eyes gleam! they were almost like a pair of rubies. for the shortest while, tito kept up a fixed stare at the unique things before pulling his gaze back as he recognized words tumbling from her mouth "that's because i'm a different person- to you, at least." the radiant little grin he tossed her soon vanished at what else she had said. "uh...i thought i was in sunclan...am i not?"
tito remained quite lucky in that regard. as small and sensitive as he was, he had escaped bad treatment when it came to meeting others. all encounters beforehand had been more than pleasant and it was due to those nice, agreeable cases that he had felt he was finally fit for a clan. his sole fault was that whereas he could handle the social side to a group, he was not yet sure he was capable of grasping the political parts. in other words: he had no idea how to fight.
"you do? well, thank you! what's your name? i'm sure it's waaay cuter than mine." being observant to the unavoidable gesture that the caracal had made, tito found his own wing itching to be readjusted. his wide gaze trailed to his dragged limb and he appeared to do his best job at resting it atop his back. "my poor wing got all messed up, but don't worry about me! it'll heal 'cause it just has to."
the little thing couldn't help but keep any thoughts to himself as the giant canine of sorts trod over and began cursing. he'd never been one for nasty phrases and when he'd heard them anywhere else, by instinct, he would have wandered off out of fear that curses would turn to blows. they simply sounded bad to him; nearly haunted him if he let them get to him. it perhaps had to do with his general sensitivity. he'd always been wary of the slightest factors since it would bug him if he did not give them considerable concern. so went his weird brain, he supposed.
when it came time for the man to address him, tito let his ears pop back forward and gave them a tiny twitch prior to responding. "thanks, mister. you guard the sun? hmm, okay. i can understand that. i'm sure the sun's a very popular person and he probably has crowds wherever he goes!" whether or not that was meant as a joke was entirely up to intrepretation. it would make a lot of sense if it weren't for he was a kid and one knew how they could get. "i'll letcha' know, ward baskerville." he nodded his head along as he said this.
more cusses, oh brother. he felt he would have to grow accustomed to those if he was going to be living in such a big place. big places usually meant a variety of moods and where there was a variety of moods, there were sure to be a few angry people mixed in. "she sort of has a point. i knew a kid once who said his dad was a famous pirate, but really, he wasn't. people are...de-de....deeeee...deceptions?" he'd meant deceptors, of course.
