    Kassidee Ginny Foxx

Kassidee nodded at Amber. "Yeah, see, you get it." At this point Kassi was beaming. This date had gone so well already. She smiled and looked back down at her pasta, taking a few more bites. It wasn't very long before she had eaten up everything on her plate - Kass was a very fast eater. She looked back up to the girl. "So, after dinner.... are we taking this back to your place?" Kassi knew it was pretty forward and bold, but to hell with trying to wait until things were appropriate. This date was going wonderfully, and she wasn't going to let a good thing go to waste. If the reaction was bad, she would do anything to fix it, but she tried not to be worried right now.

Sora gathered the gold and red banners and fanciful objects from her last party - how long had it been since then? Twenty, thirty years? My, how time passed - and had them hovering behind her like the door had been. She chuckled as she passed the princess' room, knocking on the wardrobe that blocked the doorway. "Nice setup," she mumbled to herself. She wasn't too worried about the makeshift door - after all, Sora was more than strong enough to push it back if she needed to - although she did wonder how the princess had mustered up the strength to push it there. Shrugging, she went on to the entertainment room.

After twenty or thirty minutes of work, the decorations were all set out. Banners and flags with her crest on them adorned the hall. She had set out some golden object on every surface she could find. Any way to show off wealth to the others, she had found. Sora walked to the dining hall so she could decorate it in the same fashion, to find a note on the table.

She chuckled as she read the note. "Sympathize? Oh, princess; I would go insane if I had any sort of sympathy." She shrugged and turned the napkin over, wiping the words away.

She spent some time decorating the room, making it just as lavish and shiny as the entertainment room, before turning back to the note. She snapped her fingers and a pen appeared in her hand. She wrote on the napkin:

Going out for a bit. I'll be back in a few. Don't break anything.

Use a pen next time you have something to say.

    - S

She set the pen down next to the note and headed to the entrance to the cave. Quickly shifting into her dragon form, she flew out into the sky.

She had some invitations to deliver.

I think it’s that the parents of each princess are trying to get them to court each other, as a way to benefit the two kingdoms. So I can totally see some scandals as the princesses chase love of their own that their parents wouldn’t necessarily approve of.

Kassi tried not to blush and gave a smile. "I think I'd like that." She pushed her dish forward. "Oh, you don't have to do that. Please, let's at least split it. I insist." Kassidee didn't really care that much about monetary things, and she didn't want to force Amber into paying for the whole meal - pasta could be overpriced. She called the server over to their table and put her wallet on the table, pulling out a twenty. "That should cover me; Keep the change." Kassi knew that being taken over by a djinn couldn't exactly be a pleasant experience, so she thought she should tip the waiter.

It didn't take too long for Sora to deliver news of a gathering to the others. She heard lots of chuckles and teasing in response to the invitation, though most said that they'd be there. The other dragonshifters loved to rib her for numerous things; How young she was, how hard she seemed to try to impress them, how squeamish she was about hurting mortal creatures. A few of them thought it was cute. Most thought she was simply annoying. She refused to tell anybody why she was planning the party - the arrival of the princess would be a surprise, she decided. She had been planning for this for a long time, and had been teased for all the work she was putting into it for a long time. She wanted to surprise the crew.

After everyone was notified of the gathering, she flew back into the cave and morphed back into her human form. It was about time for dinner.

    Kassidee Ginny Foxx

Kassi had been working on an assignment all night. She couldn't quite remember what it was about; something about the facebook algorithm. It didn't matter if she remembered what she was writing after working on it all night. All that mattered was that the story was written, edited, revised, and sent to her boss before the deadline. Kassi went into the office every once in a while, but she was allowed to work from home as long as she was consistently getting stories in on time. And really, that was what she preferred.

Kassi yawned and stood up as she shut down her laptop. Right now, she needed some coffee. She threw on a blazer over her blouse and pencil skirt that she had worn yesterday - no need to wear nice, clean clothes for a trip to the coffee shop - before stepping out into the hall.

Kassidee quickly passed by all of the other scum in her apartment. She couldn't be too judgemental; she participated in the same unsavory activities as them. Though at least she was a bit better at pretending to be an honest person. She glared at a smoking man and continued to walk by to the local coffee shop.

Kassi didn't know why she had to try so hard to hold back her blush - it was just a nickname, after all. "Yes, Kassi is just fine." She smiled at Amber. This date had gone wonderfully, and she would be lying if she wasn't excited to see where it would be headed. A little voice in the back of her head was pecking away at her, trying to remind Kass that this was a mortal that she was dealing with, that it wouldn't last forever. Kassi tried to ignore that voice.

The waiter brought back Amber's card and said goodbye, and Kassidee jumped down from her seat. "Now," she said, grabbing Amber's arm, "I'll let you lead the way."

    Soralyth

Soralyth was almost taken aback for a moment by the princess’ request before she remembered who she was talking to. “Ah, I forgot about that. Royals are used to bathing frequently. Yeah, I’m afraid you probably won’t be getting that here; water is so expensive, not to mention the cost of soap. There are such better things to spend your money on, don’t you think?” She shrugged. “Bathing once a week should do. I can teach you how to draw a bath today, though. Here.” She lead the princess down a narrow hallway and into the water closet. “Here’s the chamber pot; we’ve got it enchanted, so no one will have to empty it out, thankfully. And here’s the bath.” A metal tub with a few bars of soap next to it sat in the little room. Sora never put much thought into making a lavish bathroom, since visitors rarely saw it. “Now, where do you want to bathe? It would be best for you to pick the most private spot before we fill the tub with water.”

Kassidee chuckled as they walked out of the restaurant and intoned the evening air. This had gone really well, she admitted to herself. And, unless she let her own worries about mortality or awkwardness get in the way, Kassi didn’t see any way that this could start to go under. She leaned into Amber, letting herself get lost in this moment. “So, where do you live?” The town of Mallumville wasn’t very large, but there were many small neighborhoods - shady oaks, the lovely retirement area; montera, the projects of the town; and downtown, the apartment filled business sector, to name a few.

All across Japan, there are supremely competitive and elite boarding schools for children to learn and grow. One of these schools, Mujakina Yami Private Academy, hidden in the valleys of rural japan, is an all girl's school dedicated to bringing the best possible education to students. It takes a lot to get into the school, whether it's perfect grades, deep pockets, connections, or darker methods. The school is made of the best of the best, and it has done a very good job of recovering from past events.

Sora rolled her eyes at the princess' coy nature. God, she had forgotten how much humanity advanced throughout the years. Perhaps Sora's technology was a bit behind the times, when it came to the W.C. But that didn't matter now - she wasn't going to drop everything to remodel a room that worked fine for her. "If you're asking if it has plumbing, the answer is no. You move the tub to the spot you want to be in. See, as tucked away as this room is, there's still a remarkable lack of a door, so it's generally not the most private place to be in your altogether. I usually move the tub into my room. You can choose your own spot in the house to drag the thing."

    Kassidee Ginny Foxx

Kassidee strolled into the cafe with a bit of a skip in her step. Although she had been here for a few months now, New York was still a beautiful and breathtaking place for her. Every time she stepped out of her building she became a little cheerful. Everything she had done in life led up to this place, after all; the least she could do was appreciate the wonders of the city. She quickly got to the front of the line at the coffee shop. "Coffee, black," she said bluntly as she tossed her money onto the counter. As soon as the coffee was in her hands she took a sip. It burned her mouth, but a little pain was necessary sometimes, and it was barely anything when compared to the rush of caffeine. Kassi took a seat in the corner and pulled out her pocket notebook and a pen, keeping her ears open just in case. There was a lot of information to be learned amid coffee shop chatter, some of it worth a pretty penny. There were already a few characters that Kassi thought were interesting in the vicinity that she jotted down quick notes of.

Sora rolled her eyes at all of the princess' complaints. "I swear," she mumbled to herself, "only a few decades ago Robin thought bathing once a week was a luxury. My, how times have changed." Of course, Robin was a peasant, and Sora was now dealing with a princess, she thought. She grabbed a towel and a chunk of lyre soap, setting them into the tub. She picked up the tub and started walking to the princess' room. The tub was a light metal that was easily carried, so she wasn't too worried about the princess transporting it on her own, but Sora wanted to show her how things worked at first.

She arrived at the princess' room and set the tub down in the center. She sighed at the princess' question. "Princess, I have been around for hundreds of years. I have read countless tomes on magic and science and history. I am more well educated than any mortal in your kingdom. So yes, I do understand basic hygiene, and I understand that there are better things to do then spend twenty minutes a day in a tub of one's own filth. Believe it or not, but dragons have their own cleanliness routines. Now-" she snapped her fingers and the barrel of water from the kitchen was suddenly in the princess' room. "Let's draw the bath. Unfortunately, you won't be able to simply teleport the water source to and from the kitchen, but it seems easiest to do for now." She pulled the top off the barrel and slowly leaned it over the edge of the tub until it was filled with water.

Kara and Almus were both a bit shocked to find that the boy on stage was their principal, Calcifer, though Almus hid it much better than Kara did. They both listened carefully throughout the speech, and Kara did her best to hide her snickers as the principal awkwardly paged through his notecards. After it was over, Kara turned to her brother. "You wanna go exploring?" She was excited to figure the place out, and was itching to meet some of her classmates.

Almus shrugged. "Yeah, whatever." Before Kara could begin bouncing off, he grabbed her hand. "Listen, I know you want to get going and start making mischief already, but please don't be careless with your magic - not yet." He lowered his voice. "You know what got us here, and I know you don't want that to happen again."

Kara rolled her eyes and giggled. "Obviously. I'm not going to just start making Wishes all over the place for the fun of it. You underestimate me sometimes, Al."

Almus shrugged and let go of her. "Just making sure." With that they got up from their seats and walked out to explore the school.

Kassidee nodded. "Of course- as long as you're there, anywhere is fine." She giggled to herself. Kassi knew she was beginning to get a bit corny, but really, she couldn't help it. This all felt like this was a dream - a really good dream that she never wanted to wake up from.

As they went silent walking into the apartment complex, Kassi gave Amber an understanding nod. She thought it was sweet, how much Amber cared about the other families in the complex. She grinned as they reached the apartment. She reached for her necklace, rubbing it anxiously as Amber opened the door.
