Elijah sighed softly as he complacently let the other boy pull him along, stumbling afterwards down the passage. He puffed when they stopped in the corridor, patting his arm to straighten out his sleeve. He blinked up at Azaseil when he was apologized to, then rolled his eyes. "Don't call me sir," he muttered, fixing his peach gaze off to the side and scratching the back of his neck. A troublemaker like him was hardly worthy of the honourifics, and besides, they made him uncomfortable. Az was part of the family, right? "It's no big deal. You're just tryin'a help out, yeah?" And he could respect that. Ugh, he was worried about that damn horse he'd lost, though. Hopefully Melody had managed to track it down - and hopefully he wouldn't get his ass beat if it was injured.

This thing was proving kinda tricky.
Elijah was fiddling around with a little metal object, rattling and fidgeting with its multiple components, trying to unentangle them from each other. It proved harder than it seemed, though, and he hadn't any luck yet.
This probably wasn't what had been intended when his parents had told him go outside and play, but they weren't watching, so he didn't care.
The youth, looking to be about ten years old, was sitting in the shade of a tree at the local park, where he toyed with his little contraption. Kids were playing in the near distance, and he was content ignoring their annoying chatter and screeching. Seriously, what drove them to be so loud? It was a headache and nothing but. He'd almost rather be at school than out here, and that was saying something.

Ah, Elijah was proud to see such a crowd showing up. It was nice to see so many faces in one place, and it was especially warming to see how sociable they all were. Just a few weeks ago, it might have been him alone standing here. Briefly sparing a smile, Elijah focused on Dark as his greeting was returned. "I understand, trust me," he huffed, sounding vaguely amused. He'd always been a lone wolf, as it were. It had taken a long time for him to adjust to life in a group as tightly-knit as this. "We're always here to help you out."
Huh, had anything new or exciting happened recently? He supposed there was a lot going on, but particularly...
The wolf shuffled around so that his sash was properly visible, and the bird nesting within peeked out at Darkskies. "Well, I made a new friend," he chuffed, and Eikou let out a chatter of greeting before hiding their face in the soft fabric of the sash once again. "So that's pretty cool."

Well, Elijah was glad to hear that there was no serious news afoot. The tension in his shoulders faded and he nodded, pleased knowing that things were well within HawkClan. He pulled the pack over to him and Kate with a bow of gratitude, then leaned back to consider his response. "We've been well," he hummed, flicking an ear, eyes focused distantly upon a squirrel in a tree. "Lot's of activity and new faces. It's really feelin' homely, hah." A proud light flickered in his gaze and his lips curled faintly upwards. Uh, was there any particular news he was supposed to share..? Glancing briefly at Kate, he focused again on Poe, brows knit while he thought. He couldn't think of anything, so hopefully if there was any news he had forgotten, someone else would come along to help him out.

God, the very scent of the BHR made butterflies erupt in his stomach after that shitty joke Blazestar pulled on him. He still had to get back at her for that, huh. It was definitely something to keep in mind, but for now, there was business at hand. He recognized Feverdreams - it wasn't easy to forget someone like that - and was curious what her business was here. Bobbing his head to the dragoness, he approached with cautious steps, politely sitting a few feet before her. "Welcome to the Frontier," he bid. "I'm Elijah." He wasn't like, the highest of the higher-ups, but he was the highest ranking member other than Blazestar as far as he knew, so it would probably be alright for him to handle this until Blaze showed up. Besides, foreign relations were his rank's specialty. "What do you need?"

Elijah's tail wagged when Crashed mentioned his promotion. "O-oh, that's awesome!" the wolf stammered, feeling a sort of excited pride at the news, but struggling to express it, as he usually did. "I, uh, I'm sure you'll do great." It was a shame to hear that things were slowing down, but at least there wouldn't be as much of a burden on Crashed, he supposed. After all, the dragon seemed kind of busy lately, and hey, he couldn't help but worry. "But, hey, don't forget to invite us to all the fun stuff."
Hm, was there anything going on with the Frontier lately? "We've seen a lot of new activity," he remarked, looking around at all of his clanmates, some new, some old. "It's pretty refreshing, keeps us on our toes, y'know? Uh, other than that, not much, but you'll know as soon as something does come up."
Then he looked over at Chess, arching a brow. Mustache things? Did she mean the ferals? "Uh, no," he answered, stifling a chuckle. "I doubt it."

Oh, a mock raid. That quickly caught Elijah's interest. His specialty was battle, after all, and the chance to flaunt his skills and engage in some ally interaction? It sounded like a win-win to him. Casting a brief glance at Blazestar, Elijah focused again on the grand dragon and dipped his head to her. "Yeah, that sounds great. We'd definitely be down for that," he agreed.

Elijah was over in an instant, seating himself dutifully before Blazestar. It had been a while since the last meeting, and a lot had happened. He was eager as always to hear the news, and Eikou would listen too, peering up at the leader from Elijah's red sash.

Elijah's trained nose was quick to clue into an unfamiliar presence lingering nearby, and he would arrive to join the welcoming crew not long after Darkskies, bidding her a nod of greeting, as well as flicking his ears cautiously in Dainty's direction. He wasn't too familiar with either females, but it was something he hoped to change in the coming days. That was for another day, though. In the meantime, the newcomer took his focus, and he dipped his head. "Welcome. I'm Elijah," the wolf hummed in his usual guarded apathy, refraining from offering his assistance since Dark already had that covered.
