EJ was coming back from a hunt, three large bags of internal organs in his pockets as he slunk through the woods, trying to avoid any open areas- it was getting late because obviously thats the only time of day he comes out and he did a relatively quick hunt nearby where he was currently hiding out- a cabin that had been rented for a year by a newlywed couple he'd killed shortly after they arrived. He made sure that nobody would check on them until the year was up, so until then he was relatively safe. He was headed back there now, to put his spoils in a cooler before deciding on where to hit next, there was no suck thing as too prepared after all. But, as of right then, he was sneaking through some dusky woods.

He merely stared at her, taking a step backwards and assessing the situation. He had an easy access scalpel in his sleeve, so he wasn't defenseless, and she seemed to not like the smell- oh. his food needed to be stored soon. "Hello." His voice was dull and toneless, not loud or quiet, only blank. He then turned to keep walking. "Goodbye."

Under the mask his face twitched, Why was the girl following him? He kept walking, sparing only a glance at the girl to make sure she wasn't trying to do anything funny. "My name is inconsequential, why I am here and my mask are my business alone, stop following me." His tone was still dull and blank, but by the hunch of his shoulders she was obviously making him uncomfortable. A bit more prodding and he might snap at her. Who knows?

He hunched his shoulders some more, and groaned internally. He had to lose her if he didn't want her knowing where he was camped currently. "Question. Do you have any reason to be following me? You obviously don't like the smell." Maybe that would get her to go away? Probably not- he just admitted to knowing there was a smell, which meant he knew what the smell was meaning she'd probably want to know the answer to that. Maybe.

Under the mask he was making an 'Ehhhhhhhh?' face at the flowers, definitely sure he wasn't going to touch that with a nine foot scalpel. This is why he doesn't socialize. On the outside, he sighed shaking his head. "How can I possible be so interesting that you feel the need to stalk me? How do you know I'm not some murderer going to kill you?" Which is true, he was still debating killing her, but leaning against it, it seemed like too much trouble.

"If you mean people hunt me for my charming good looks, then oh yes most definitely." His voice dripped with sarcasm, the fist tone of emotion he's shown since they met. "What do you think? I have no eyes and I wear a mask that screams 'psycho killer'. Of course people attack me. I'm not out at dusk because I like the evening, no, there's less people out this time of day." He's grumbling now, all of him from his voice to his posture screaming 'surly teenage/young adult male'.

He was vaguely surprised she didn't comment on the eyes thing, but couldn't really find it in himself to care. He just wanted to get back to his hideout and store the food before it went bad. "Seriously why are you following me? I've been passing through here for the past two weeks without any sign of you popping out of nowhere, and now suddenly you exist. Surely you had something else more important than stalk someone bringing home groceries?" Shit, he called that cabin home. He hadn't meant to get attached, it's only been a month. But it was a nice cabin....

"Why not? How am I so interesting?" He's getting really flustered. The only three things he's used to dealing with is being either annoyed with stupid laughter and teasing, attacking and being feared, or attacked and hunted. Nothing else. This girl was an anomaly, and he didn't know what to do. So his brain yelled abort and he went into surly boy mode.

He spluttered, turning to 'stare' at her in sheer 'what the hell' incredulity. "Normal? How- no What part of me looks normal?" He couldn't believe this chick. She had to be mad, or something. Of course, she did live in the woods in a cave of all things. Maybe to her he was normal. That was a surprisingly nice thought. Eyeless doesn't think he minds her following him home that much anymore. Well, might as well get introductions over with- and he's still going to be a stubborn surly ass. Sniffing haughtily, he shrugged off the momentary loss of 'chill' and spoke in a 'might as well' kind of tone. "Well, if you're that intent on following me, you might as well introduce yourself. My name is Eyeless Jack."

[[hell yeah bby school wifi dont block this website fricken yes]]

"What kind of name is Daydream? Eyeless Jack isn't that normal but at least it doesn't sound like something you do when not paying attention." He was back to sounding emotionless, but he wasn't hunching in on himself anymore, and stopped acting like he was hiding something- although he did speed up his pace considering organs don't last forever without being preserved. "So why choose now to show up and talk to me anyways? I don't look like the friendliest of people."
