She’s far more jaded and tired than the picture, but aside from that, the look is basically the same. Typically just wears the same old outfit everyday- black pants, a white polo, and a denim jacket.

Personality

Zara was a bit more happy-go-lucky before this all started, but she’s never really been an optimistic person. So, when the world went wild, she presumed the worst and decide to buckle down and use her skills as a combat medic for the better rather than just sitting on the sidelines. She’s very secretive, and takes a lot of pride in being difficult to read. Zara excels more at front-lines medicine and first aid than anything else, and doesn’t want to sit around and wait for people to come to her- she’ll get in the midst of the fight if she has to. Zara’s extremely no-nonsense, and she won’t hesitate to let the leaders know if she thinks a decision they made was terrible. Zara’s got a sailor’s mouth when it comes to cursing, but she’ll curb it around the kids- but not by much. She was already pretty apathetic before the apocalypse started, and she still is now. Despite being a tough nut to crack and a pretty cold personality, she’ll keep an eye out for the younger group members (especially Ev- “kid’s just 17.”) Zara’s the type to crack your leg back into place with no warning the second you look away from it. She’s not especially close to any group members, and she’d prefer to keep it that way- she claims it’s easier, especially when their life is riding on your shoulders. She always focuses on her own injuries last.

She’s far more rugged than she is in the picture… aaand a bit more muscular than that. Prosthetic leg from the left knee down. Wears a dark green jacket and blue jeans, and that’s really it. I’d crank out a drawing but… eh, I’m too tired.

Personality

She was a standard park ranger before the apocalypse started, and she had always preferred a quieter life in the forest over the hustle and bustle of the city. It ended up saving her, because she hadn’t known that zombies were roaming until a couple weeks into it when one roamed down a nearby path. Though she was relatively safe where she was, she deduced that it wouldn’t stay that way for long and left before coming across the group. Marjani is quiet and capable, but usually likes to keep to herself. She’s never wanted to be the center of attention, and she certainly wasn’t going to start being it now. Marjani has the ability to make decisions under pressure, but she’d never want to lead- she’s too afraid of dooming the people she’s actually grown to care about. Marjani keeps an eye out for the kids in particular- they’re the most at risk, and she’ll keep them out of danger as well as she can. Marjani has stuck to the role of hunter, as she’s never liked taking out zombies- they were dead and far beyond saving, yes, but some part of her fears that there’s something still human in them. That isn’t to say she’ll refrain from killing them at all- if she has to do it, she’ll slaughter them the same as anyone else would.

Marjani uses a bow- she’s always preferred it anyway, and it’s far quieter than a hunting rifle.

• Not really a plot, but she thinks Rosalyn is probably the coolest person she’s met so far.
• I have a feeling she'd get bit on the left leg at some point and while everyone was freaking out she'd just be like "guys" and take her whole leg off lol
