"Thank you for your insight, Robin." The raven nodded, "We don't have an ambassador program yet. We can definitely start one though." Nocturne was grateful that Robin could speak his mind. After all, it was the members of The District who helped them lead. "And you're welcome." They wrote as an extra note. Punintended.

That's really interesting! I was planning to add lore where each mask is possessed by whoever wore it when they died so those are reserved for Districters.

Maybe The District can hold an event where they make plain/new masks and mischievous spirits temporarily take control of them and cause pranks on the wearers during a masquerade ball? Any serious damage would give The District a bad name and they need to earn the favors of others right now.

The raven watched the camp from one of the boulders that laid around, enjoying the little slimmer of sunshine peeking through the clouds. It hadn't been this warm since they had first flew through these mountains. It wasn't exactly spring season, but it was a pleasant, gradual change. "Hey Robin, want to join me over here?" The raven wrote, folding it into a paper plane and throwing it to the hyena with a push of telekinesis.

They would attempt to wave a little with their wing as the hyena turned his gaze to them. As Robin approached, they would return the nod. "Indeed. It hasn't been this warm in weeks." Nocturne replied, "How about you?" It was a good day for doing pretty much anything. The raven contemplated inviting Robin to a hunt.

"Oh Robin. Of course I have ink." Nocturne wrote. They then dug into their satchel, managing to retrieve a spare inkwell. "I always have extra. After all, I'm mute. No need to pay me back." They gave a smile to their own little humor. It was always a mystery as to how Nocturne seemingly had an endless supply of ink. They had gotten only a few inkwells from inside the school, but seeing as they didn't live anywhere near the school, Nocturne would have to find a new way.

Nocturne would soon arrive, perching on the gates. They let Robin do the talking. After all, the hyena was the one to greet the stranger first. From what Nocturne saw, they predicted that the canine was probably a joiner. Joiners were always good news, especially in The District, since they were so few in numbers.

Nocturne stared curiously at the foreign character. They had always been interested in the affair of languages, but they had yet to see these types. Most languages they had seen from books had similar characters to the common language. This one was completely different. The raven was tempted to ask Robin what it meant, but they decided to ask later. "How about a hunt? Surely the prey must stretch their limbs too and enjoy the sun." They felt a bit bad for wanting to ambush some creatures who just wanted to relax after the cold season, but they had to survive. Survival meant killing, in the language or carnivores and omnivores.

Nocturne nodded to the answer, replying, "Nice to meet you Souta. I'm Nocturne, Nightkeeper of this place." If they had a paw, they would hold it out for a shake, but unfortunately, they had wings, and they were far to delicate. "Would you like a tour?"

"No problem." The raven wrote, "Let's head just outside the entrance of this place." It wasn't too far, but it wasn't too close either. Nocturne had seen small holes where some creature, be it bird or squirrel, might've nested. It was a good place for hunting small game.

Nocturne arrived after Robin, and was able to hear of the invitation. "I'll accept the invitation." They wrote. They then stepped back, wanting to know if Robin would answer the question or if they should. After all, Robin was the one which the question was directed to.

The weekly letter had been late this week, but the nightkeeper had been working on getting more programs up. It was a slow process. The flyer called the audience to meet in the morning.

    The District Meeting 03/01

-Rank names will be changed to match out theme. Nightkeeper is Virtuoso, Shadowholder is Maestro, Spiritkeeper is Connoisseur, Sharpclaw is Impresario, our warrior rank will be split into performers, artists, and writers, and our trainees will be known as students.

The main difference for our students is that they will be taught by the Impresario in tandem classes, or anyone above it if there are no Impresario.

—Even though our main focus will become the arts, we can train to become masterful in fighting by incorporating our artistic skills in it. Think creatively.

-We will be starting an ambassador system soon.

-Our first mask monthly mask ceremony will begin soon. If you don’t already have a mask, please attend.

-We will also become a neutral clan, as we have and wish not to have any feuds unless needed.

    - R. KAISER will be promoted to Connoisseur due to his excellent activity and willingness to speak his mind. In the situation that I’m not present, please refer to him.

    - A welcome to Mossshadows , we hope to see you around.

-The Frontier has invited us to a potions presentation!

Nocturne enjoyed the hyena's company during these meetings. He was always constructive, and Nocturne knew he had made the right choice to promote him. "Excellent idea, Robin. Would you like to hold it?" Not only was it going to be good for their little group, but it would be like a small assessment of sorts, to see how the hyena would be able to handle the task. It wasn't the main goal, of course, but the raven wanted to be sure that Robin could handle it. "You don't have to if you don't want to, of course."

Nocturne was definitely interested in this. After all they were the ones who had approved of this idea, so naturally, they perched with the hyena. "An idea just hit me: should hold a masquerade in celebration of our new theme?" Nocturne queried. After all, they were the ones who had decided to get involved in the arts. The raven did not know if they should invite everyone, or just their two allies.
