Wild fires racing down a barren slope, hungry flames licking at the cold night sky, smoke trailing into the pitch black as it rises from smoldering embers, remnants of a disaster passed. She moved with deliberance, every muscle taut with annoyance as she struck forward to better assess the scene before her. 'They didn't take the tunnels.' The dark molly was almost positive her mother had described garish, narrow tunnels that stretched beneath the stinking mass of the thunderpath to allow safe passage for those coming and going between ThunderClan and their more wily neighbor. Perhaps they meant to keep it a secret? It seemed logical to some obscure and paranoid degree. Though, to be fair, if she were to cause problems she almost assuredly use the tunnels to do so. It was much safer that way.

Drab verdigris eyes narrowed onto those present, her dark brows knitting at her thick-skulled clanmate most of all. Who even let someone this rash and inhibited become a warrior to begin with? He seemed more a kit to be watched over than a warrior capable of speaking with any degree of conviction. "Jaggedsight." Her tone was flint and fire, albeit dulled by the cold, her tail lashing in her wake as she addressed the blabbering tom. "Perhaps you should go fetch Foreststar, she'll want to speak with these two and you're much quicker on your paws than I am." And better yet he'd be making better use of himself not criticizing free herbs with leafbare baring down on them with its gnarly white teeth and snapping jaws. If ShadowClan could fair well without them and wished to maintain a friendship with ThunderClan she saw no reason to be any more than simply weary for now.

Times were too taut to be picky about where resources arrived from, not only that but she curious to get a better grasp on these ShadowClanners, sure she'd heard them in mention but it was different when they were tangible and there. Analytic? Sure, but rare was the occasion when she let a chance to learn slip from her grasp.

She was presumptuous little twit wasn't she? Lean muscles hardened beneath a thick tabby pelt struck forward with every step as the stern molly arrived onto the scene, her drab eyes narrowed as she came to a quiet halt beside Lightningpaw. "I don't know where you come from but here in the forest we tend to not make assumptions and show a little caution on the borders of strange clans." Seriously, the survival instincts were incredibly limited here, it was off putting. Flicking the tip of her bushy tail for emphasis the large she-cat then bent to look this 'Cinderstream' figure eye to eye. "You have a clan name, what's your former allegiance and how precisely do you plan on explaining why you're at our border joining instead of running their patrols?" A clan was one's life, their family, their home. Something of note surely had to occur to leave that behind only to join some other clan.

She couldn't personally see anything throwing her off enough to leave ThunderClan other than her own lack of dedication or interest, and right now she baited in full with her mother's own interests held close to heart. After all, despite the complexities of it all, her childhood had been alright enough.
