It was rather funny that at the mere mention of Gareth, Callingcosmos was there and looking about. The great white lion's rounded ears were pricked, his large paws thudding over the snowy terrain as he came before the scene of the joiner; Pierrick. He hadn't seen vultures around before, nor had he really seen any sort of normal avian life anyways. It was usually dragons or some sort of hybrid. The albino lion himself looked rather odd, with some golden flowers placed in his mane. Smiling, the older creature would dip his head in greeting. His starshine-filled blue eyes glimmered. "It is nice to have you here in SunClan, Pierrick. I'm Callingcosmos James Kirk. Please, feel free to call me Cal, though." A low, gentle rumble would rise in the lion's chest. Gareth could help with those who suffered from amnesia? Oh, yes, maybe it had something to do with him training to be a medic. Cal flicked an ear. "I know Gareth well, I could get you a visit with him," the SunClanner would offer, blinking.

    [ retro to capture ]

Truthfully, Callingcosmos did not really know who Babyblue was. Sure, he had seen him around a few times—gods, that was months ago now—but he had never talked to the guy. So, it was inevitable that Callingcosmos also didn't know that the SunClanner had died and been reincarnated in his new body. When the alabaster lion approached, a golden flower or two dropping from within his mane, he did so with a soft chuckle. "Weep no more"? Yes, the now-wolf definitely had no in on what had gone on around the Clan before he came back from death. In fact, Cal hadn't the slightest idea either. He had left and gone to the Thunderlands, and then Ashina met him there. They spoke, a long overdue conversation no doubt, and Ashina had informed him of Sugaredsun's death and Gareth's... outbursts. The news was what made him return in the first place, but he had also been called back because of a feeling in his soul. SunClan was his home, and it was evident in how he couldn't seem to seperate himself from it. Enough of the rambling though. "Well, well then—welcome back! You must've been gone quite a while; a lot of things happened in your dearly missed absence," the older, albino big cat would say with a smirk and chuckle. He was teasing slightly; even then he was always glad to see anyone come to or return to SunClan. "It's evident you're returning, but I don't think I actually have had the pleasure of knowing your name before." It was obviously true, as he did barely know Babyblue. So, maybe this was a way they could actually get properly acquainted. "I'm Callingcosmos, previously Tiberius." With that, Cal would nod and finally seat himself.

[ i'm sure you could just ask gareth's rper in the chat, when they're around, for a private thread! ]

Callingcosmos sort of prided himself on having a hospitality-filled nature. Unless the creature he was speaking to was malicious or had acted maliciously, he always offered hospitality and kindness to others. It was just in the older, white lion's nature. Dipping his head, not noting when one of the golden flowers slipped from his mane and fell to the snowy ground under his paws, Cal would then set his glimmering, blue gaze back on the vulture again. "No problem, my friend. Are you hungry? Thirsty?" Gareth. The white lion's thoughts returned to him once more. He had been put on house arrest due to his outbursts, and Callingcosmos had visited him yesterday. Though... he seemed cold. Well, it was truly understandable because the lion had left SunClan when he needed him most—not intentionally; but he had. Returning himself back to the present, Callingcosmos would then offer the bearded vulture another kind smile.

THANK YOU?? OMG BUT HECKLE YES

cal might try to communicate with blue or something like that, maybe try to take notes on her as well? maybe he could be kind of apprehensive and fearful or something, or rather shocked that there's a DAMN DINOSAUR IN FRONT OF HIM and maybe that triggers an attack?

yeah!!! cal would definitely try to sketch her and get notes and jsut be like "this creature shouldn't be walking in front of me right now, they've been dead for over millions of years science how"

if you could make it, that would be awesome! :^D

This was another one of those times where Callingcosmos was indecisive and he cursed himself to the high heavens for it. Thunderlands, SunClan, back to the Thunderlands, now back to BlizzardClan. He had just gotten to restless, but the large, alabaster lion was determined to never leave SunClan as long as he lived. Gareth needed him there now, and he couldn't abandon him—even if he didn't mean to in the first place—again. Ashina was in the Thunderlands, but Callingcosmos also couldn't handle himself there. He hadn't taken a step over there since the whole Fragilepast and Deutschland conflict had begun; it had worried him. The older lion knew war and conflict was an integral part of life, but sometimes he never felt like he could face it. Even then, BlizzardClan was now getting entangled in it. But, Cal was just trying to figure out what was going to work in the end. Maybe eveb just returning to staying in SunClan solo was a new option on the horizon. Again, he left. He left there without a word—a cowardice thing to do—and he came back to a Clan he had originally obtained a dual-alliance with SunClan in. Before the snow had even begun to fall, that's when Callingcosmos was last here. His name was Tiberius then. Now, the lion would pace up to the border, the mix of California poppies and buttercups in his mane shining in the sun beaming down over the snow-covered territory, and he'd clear his throat. Maybe you'll make up your mind this time, you old fart. Pick a couple places to stay in and stay. Callingcosmos huffed, and he settled down on his haunches, his bright blue eyes—starshine filled—glittered. "Ah, hello. I'm Callingcosmos James Kirk, I was known as Tiberius before. I'm returning here!" That would be sufficient. All the older man would have to do now is wait, and so he began to do just that.

Like Steve had recognized Callingcosmos' voice, the alabaster lion did the same with the tom's. As he turned his blue gaze to the smaller feline, a buttercup or two fluttered from the hairs of his mane and drifted onto the snow. He didn't mind them, as he had plenty to go around. A smile would then spread out over the larger feline's lips, and he'd wave a large paw, flicking his long tail. "Ah, Steve! I definitely remember you, yes. It's been quite a while," he'd say; letting out a deep chuckle after he spoke. Of course, they never really got the chance to formally talk, but they had definitely spoken when Cal joined then. Of course, he was a lion then, but he definitely wasn't the alabaster; blue-eyed, not-fully maned, and flower donning beast he was now.

i'm very glad i made one of his faceclaims the Lion Dad then

    because im trash

OK SPACE DAD IS UP FOR MEETING HER

you guys talk so fast i cant even

Another familiar face that Callingcosmos hadn't gotten around to formally speaking to. The older man tended to do that a lot. Maybe it was his memory? Am I already forgetting things so easily? Gods, I'm aging so fast. The lion would bring himself from his thoughts on his own age and smile warmly at Everett. "Heya, kid! I remember you," he replied with a smile. Yes, he did remember him—they just never got to talk. "And, I thank you for welcoming me back. It's a pleasure to have returned." The alabaster lion dipped his head, and the California poppies and buttercups in his mane twirled in the chilly breeze gently. Always so formal when speaking, Jim.
