It was jarring to see how non-verbose Aleksei was compared to last night, but he chalked it off as tiredness. And wow, split? How very Asian of them, he almost laughed but instead, Miles merely smirked down at the other man who looked way too comfortable. Maybe that was a cue to give em a few moments or so to even think about getting up. He was down to chill a little longer since he usually did that most mornings, laying in bed and looking at the phone was a routine but only if he was alone. Miles could make an exception this time.

Running his hand through Aleksei's odd textured hair, he continued, "you craving anything specific?" His hungry ass wanted tacos but that was barely the meal to wake up to. But in theory, it sounded delicious, "and you mind if I stop by my place real quick before we go? I can't wear booty shorts out in this weather." He only had his costume from last night on him after all.

Oh god. She was too kind. It was kind of hard to take. The more nice and positive things that came out of her mouth, the more nervous and guilty he felt about mentioning the old situation again. But there was no pussying out now, he was committed. "Thanks," the silver furred catsune would grin nonetheless. It was nice to feel accepted, even if it was only by Kady and not the rest of Blizzardclan, any tiny bit of validation was welcomed. It's been so long.

At her invitation, he nodded in agreement. He had no qualms about speaking in a less public spot. In fact, that was preferred, the more secluded the better. The others don't need to hear about this, he highly doubted anyone else from back then was still around, all aside from Kady. "I'm comfortable with any option, thanks for asking," she was so considerate. It was mind boggling how these nuances made her seem like a completely different woman. With that in mind, the hybrid tailed the vice leader, running over the events and carefully picked words in his head.

When they arrived and stopped, Miles would seat himself directly in front of Kady, taking a deep breath and meeting her eyes before beginning to speak his piece. "I... " He paused. Are you fucking kidding? Tongue tied already? "Fuck, uhhh... Sorry," he muttered, breaking eye contact for a split second to stare at the ground. "Let me start this again," he breathed out a sigh and corrected his posture for the final time, "I'm sorry." Congrats, step one down. "I said some really bad stuff during Mim's personal announcement, and I want to formally apologize to you," he decided to not go into detail of the statements he made after all, they might upset her again, "I don't know your story and I don't know how much my words may have affected you, but I want you to know I did not mean it," did he? Not to Kady, not to anyone. Those words were just weapons to emotionally hurt, not an ill wish against anyone. "I didn't mean for it to become a shitfest but I just couldn't stop the words from coming out of my mouth," he paused to take a breath, "it's like, my brain shut down or something, and this awful crap just spilled out. And then it was too late..." He trailed off, unsure of what to say next. "I thought about it since and I know I was a horrible, immature, fucking kid and definitely do not deserve to be around polite society. I've made so many mistakes that day with other people ending up as victims, but I ask for your forgiveness. I know I don't deserve it, but I... I'll try to prove it to you that I'm not an awful bitch."

Dang fuckity. He missed a raid? Wow, what shit timing. But perhaps there will be more in the near future, unless Shadow Veil was full of pussies who just wanted to roll over and get annihilated. From his short stay with them, he wasn't able to tell if they were that type but it's been a while. Maybe they were in the shitter. Sucks to be them then. Whatever the case was, the silver catsune seated himself with a yawn, his single eye fixed on Aleksei.

Get excited? Shit, that's all it took to go banana's like this nearly grown apprentice? He wasn't sure what Blizzardclan was doing to their youth but Miles was already rubbed the wrong way. But at least they were apologetic for giving him a mini aneurysm. He could respect that but he wasn't sure for how long. "Thanks, I appreciate that," he sighed, pretty glad that Aiden seemingly heeded his grievances. He'll have to wait to see if the boy actually took the words to heart later.

"Coolio, Aiden. But yeah, as mentioned, I'm not a new joiner. Maybe I'll stay here a longish time but if anything I'd be a returning member," Miles decided to reveal, now a little less strung up, "I've lived here a few months back, before the world ending and shit."

That was great, now he could flex or maybe not, it all depended on what Aleksei was going to ask for. However, what he found more interesting was the Valaerya situation. Holy cow, she didn't even last a minute. He kind of wanted to laugh but he kept his face straight since Kady and Aleksei were still around. He wasn't about to get into trouble yet. "Yell," the pale catsune would answer with a flick of his tails, "if you're seriously outgunned, yell and get out of there. If not, yell and fight back." Of course, yelling was to attract other members to assist or witness the situation. It was important to spread the word that there was danger.

That was too much power in his hands, having free reign to pick which food place they'll head to. He was an adult, he shouldn't be choosing fucking tacos for breakfast but he wanted it, so it was going to fly. "Alright, well, I hope you like tacos. Like the real authentic kind," he let his choice be known as he the searched for his iwatch in the space that Aleksei had given him. Hopefully, none of their fat asses broke it.

"Hahhaa, that's funny," he smirked, triumphantly unearthing the device from the sheets and popped it onto his wrist, "but nah, I'm not down to get sick today. Unlike the tube sock, slides, and basketball shorts wearing peers of ours, I am not completely immune to the cold." Sure, he wasn't bothered by the chill for the most part, but coochie cutters like these were asking for trouble. But for now, he'll have to wear them, along with the skimpy ass top that he bummed off a cosplayer friend. At least he had timbs, that was the only piece in his limited wardrobe that could be deemed good for this weather.

Oh god. She was so encouraging, too kind, what the fuck. He didn't deserve this. It made him so uncomfortable, this was not the reaction he expected and because of that, he was so confused. Whenever a possibility is inconsistent with his thoughts, it throws him in a loop and boy, it was a bad feeling to have no idea of what was going to happen next. However, her response was positive. It exceeded his expectations and Miles finally breathed out the breath he had not known he was holding in. Her acceptance of his hasty apology was honestly, something he deemed as impossible or at least akin to winning the lotto.

He relaxed by then, his breathing leveled itself out and he the tension in his body was released. But not for long as Kady began to divulge her a piece of her own past. He held her gaze as he listened to the cruel past the woman had, tension creeping back into his form. Oh fuck. "Fuck... I'm so sorry," he added rather weakly, unsure of how to address it but he had a burning urge to apologize again "I'm so fucking sorry." Countless she said. Countless. The catsune was hung up on that detail but he couldn't help it.

But he does manage to snap out of it, as she continues after her pause and gave him a compliment that he did not deserve. He was not a good guy, he knew it. He still had urges to torment others, such as the very unfortunate situation with Valaerya that he still does not comprehend. But, it was just there, and he couldn't help but flex on her. However, the words of Kady were very reassuring. She's forgiven him. That's all that matters at the moment.

He offers a smile back, a tired one since this whole thing was surprisingly mentally exhausting. "Thank you," he finally speaks again, gratefully dipping his head to her apology though she doesn't even need to do that in his mind. It was a nice gesture from the pale woman, she was too kind. He raises his head once more and adds, "let's start over." He really wanted that, to start with a semi clean slate between the two of them and then perhaps nurture a new friendship that never had the chance to blossom. He pauses for a moment but confidently segues into an introduction with a smile, "hi, my name is Milehigh Grimes Disharmony, but you can call me Miles. I was born in Hawkclan. My mother's name is Littlestar, and I have four siblings; Nathanael, Techno, Audrey, and Cleo. I don't really have any set hobbies but I'm down for any sort of fun."

He caught up to the other man, which had to have been a given in Miles's mind. To him, the thought of Aiden disappearing into the crowd never crossed his mind. Firstly, he was fit enough to catch up to most people, secondly, Aiden was in pretty bad shape anyway. With that said, the other man seemed to be more sober upon accepting the coat, even explaining their situation at the airport. "No problem," he grinned in response to their gratitude, "and me too dude. The snow's fucking with everyone's day." He punctuated his statement with a slight laugh before chattering on, after all, a caffeinated Miles was a happy Miles, "I'm tryna get to New York, how about you?" And of course, he remembered they were outside in the damn cold talking, but he wasn't about to suggest Aiden to head back to the warm cafe. Perhaps elsewhere, but he'll have to see what kind of response the troubled man had first.

So he had received a vague message from Aleksei himself and he was incredibly confused. Firstly, a stranger of a creature had approached him with a enigmatic message to meet the furred dragon. Secondly, he pondered what the hell the meeting was going to be about, of course, that meant he'll have to dig into his memory to see if he's done any bad shit lately. But when he doesn't come up with anything, he's baffled as hell. Miles hated to be in the dark about anything and so the male was pretty annoyed to be waiting to see the Targaryen. However, said irritation faded when he pondered the possibility that Aleksei had information on Rhaelarys. He'll be more than happy with that.

If given a value, Miles's sneak level was definitely around the 80 range. After all, that was all he did as a child in Hawkclan, sneak out of camp or cause trouble by setting up pranks. Of course, that skill was developed further in his loner days. He had to provide food for himself and to not go hungry, he had to really perfect his method of going around undetected. Soft silent steps, the direction of wind, and all that other good stuff were things one had to keep in mind aside from the obvious 'don't get spotted'.

However, in Canoris's case, the femme does not have her vision anymore but he was aware that her other senses would be well sharpened. She could probably and very easily feel the vibrations created by steps, scent any creatures too close to her, and hear to the level of a moth. It will be very difficult for anyone to succeed in this. "I'll watch for now," the silver catsune stated as he gathered amongst the other interested creatures. He wasn't sure if he wanted to participate, after all, he wasn't interested in the bragging rights.

He was not remotely aware of the love triangle that Kady seemed to be a part of or how tumultuous it really was, but he's easily able to tell that the pale feline was not in the best of moods. She was visibly upset by the broken accessory in front of her. Now, Miles was no blacksmith, he doubted that he'll be able to help in any way (he seemingly did not inherit his mother's fire powers but certainly her temper) but Kady approached her regardless. "Uhm, we could try to start a fire but I don't think it's gonna get hot enough," the silver catsune would offer as he made a beeline for the vice leader, "what happened to it?" Metal was pretty hard to break, after all.

    — WHITE LINEN WHITE ROSE

SUITE VEINTITRÉS AT THE CHATEAU —

It was a pretty nice day outside. The sun was shining and heating up the earth despite the season. Of course, Miles was going to take advantage of the sudden heat that probably was only going to last for one day. He decided to take a nap outside on a sun-warmed rock after consuming a nice juicy rabbit he had caught for himself. Bathing in this sort of warmth was absolute bliss though he did prefer the cold a lot more. There was something about getting a healthy dose of vitamin D that was so satisfying to the pale catsune.

However, in the middle of his power-nap, two spots near his shoulder blades began to tear open and bleed. It was a small trickle but the viscous fluid was stark against his silver fur. Miles himself did not notice said flow of blood as he was happily sleeping but to any passerby, if they looked at the male, it was very hard to not notice the patches of red.

//ya boy is getting some wings! they're gonna grow in very slowly and painfully.

If he could describe this woman in one word, it perhaps would be 'untouchable'. The pale feline was seemingly unaffected by her difficult past which was something Miles could not comprehend. If he had been in her place, he would never be able to laugh and smile as much as Kady until he stood atop the bodies of the perpetrators, their throats torn open. Something tells him that perhaps that is what she's done but he cannot be truly sure but it was not a topic for now. Hell, if anything, it was an inappropriate topic for anytime. Whether it is discussed or not is all up to the victim and he had no right to inquire about it.

He didn't find her boring if he had to be honest. She was a mature woman with her life in proper order, and to hear that her past had been rather rocky, he could't help but admire how she turned her life around. There was hope for everyone, was the lesson he was reminded of as she spoke. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Kady," the silver furred male would grin, truly feeling elation in the moment. The vibes of this whole interaction was just good now. He didn't have the heavy burden of guilt weighing him down completely anymore, it was just a minor inconvenience at this point and surely, overtime it would fade as he learns that he's truly forgiven.

Her suggestion was perfect. Miles was totally ready for any sort of commemoration and considering that Blizzardclan has been under a lot of stress because of the war, it was high time that they had the chance to relax. "Aww, hell yeah!" He would have clapped his hands together if he was a human, "do you drink? I can go get some from the trade center." Getting drunk and letting loose was his idea of a good time, hell it was good for everyone. Maybe he'll make a spectacle of himself and the other would enjoy a good laugh in these hard times.

Some interested creatures joined them quite promptly but only one of them Miles noted. Said creature was Kady, and upon turning to her briefly, he offered the vice leader a grin and a wink before shifting his attention back to Canoris who seemed somewhat annoyed by him? He wasn't sure what he had done to piss her off (apparently he just had an aura that everyone disliked, especially Valaerya), but he soon found out with her last few statements. "I still can learn from watching," the pale catsune remarked, after all observation was always the first step, then it was testing out things physically. Anyhow, he thought his method was nearly fool proof, if he was trying to sneak and attack someone, he'll just do what he did. If he failed, then the end result will still be fighting. All the paths lead to the same conclusion. But that was what he supposed the lesson was about; murder.

SUITE VEINTITRÉS AT THE CHATEAU —

Awww hell yeah. Look at all these disgusted looks. That's what I'm talking about fam. He couldn't help but laugh a little at Valaerya's initial reaction, it's like she's never seen a topless person before. He was about to say something but then Aleksei spoke and offered him a bandanna. "Bruh," he stated rather confused as he took the patterned cloth in his free hand, "I dunno, it seems a little small." He couldn't even tie it around his chest to censor his nips in a tube top sort of fashion. His drunken brain was trying to hard to comprehend how to use this bandanna. He could tie it around his arm but that wasn't really covering himself up. That also eliminated putting it around his neck and on top of his head. This was ridiculous, it just wasn't going to work.

The silver catsune regarded the winged shape in the sky with suspicion at first and set out to find where they had landed. However, his paranoia was dashed upon coming across the stranger of a male and Kady. It seemed like she knew him, so they were another joiner? Cool. "Suh, dude," he offered simply, content with just watching how the situation played out. It seemed like a pretty private conversation anyway, since it was kind of a reunion.

He wasn't dreaming, he never dreamt, or at least he never remembers them. But he's always regarded that as a blessing since it also meant he didn't have nightmares. When he slept or napped, it was just blackness. Speaking of which, it was blackness that he was promptly pulled out of upon being prodded and spoken to by Sundance. If he had not recognized her voice, the male would have immediately leapt to his feet in a defensive stance but since he did, he only grumbled the following, "go away, I'm sleepin." He didn't fully process her words until a few moments later and he finally opened his remaining eye, then turned to face her. "What?" Confusion was etched on his face as he shifted his attention to himself. What blood? He missed the small rivulets of blood on his back.
