"Welcome Wind Haven-er!" Gareth said as he approached, posture confident and expression relaxed. There was small hints of exhaustion and the stress that lay heavy on his back, but he appeared to be a rather cheerful guy. A welcoming smile stretched across his handsome features. "Got any news for us? Joining? What's up?" His voice was casual and naturally soft. His ears perked as the scent of pie made it's way over time him. "Apple pie?" Personally the solar commander didn't enjoy sweet food, but the gesture was appreciated and he was sure someone would devour the baked good. "Oh, and I'm Gareth Arcanium, solar commander, or pretty much the leader, of Sunclan," with that he sat down. He'd covered all the bases hopefully, and presented himself well while doing so. Hopefully.

By how the tall catsune moved and interacted it was hard to tell that he was blind, though it was revealed by the details, as all things were. "Sorry it took me a bit to show up. Things have been a little hectic around here."

Gareth hadn't been here for awhile, but had found his way easily. Luckily he had a pretty good memory. However, he did find himself feeling bad, last time he had been here he had been a clan mate, but he was unable stay. Sunclan was his home and therefore when necessary he put it first. However he did find himself favoring The Rift above there clans. Archipelago was someone he considered a friend, possibly even a close friend from what they had shared between each other. And that's what he was there, because he appreciated The Rift and wished for Sunclan and The Rift to be allies. He didn't see any reason not to be allies, he just hoped Archipelago felt the same way. Not that a denial of his request would upset him. He understood that Sunclan wasn't at their most powerful, of course, and that Sunclan was transitioning rather roughly between leadership. Still, it was worth a try. "Hello?" Gareth called out in his soft voice, blind eyes looking around on instinct.

Hopefully someone would show up soon.

"What are you suggesting we do with this information?" Gareth said genuinely. Most clans, if not all, we're already aware that The Cartel was full of scumbags, so why go to this length to make something already known... Known? Perhaps to keep ignorant leaders from becoming allies with The Cartel, but again it was common knowledge that this was not a good idea. At least to Gareth it was. To dispel any rumors perhaps? That made more sense. "I believe most of us are aware of The Cartels history," he said, "so I'm not sure why this was exactly necessary? The meeting, anyway." He'd already heard of the Cleo thing through the grapevine, and the rape ring, and that The Cartel was full of predators. The only new information was Aleksei himself being harassed. "Nonetheless thank you for the information," he said, glancing around the group again with sightless eyes. Was that all then? Did Aleksei intend to rally the clans for battle and attack The Cartel, or was this simply some sort of rumor control?

Clearing his throat the Solar Commander sat back, curious if anyone else had any questions.

"Oh Helios," Gareth said, a laugh trailing his words. "I don't even know how it happened. Well, I do, but it's still kinda processing." He'd never been a leader before, obviously, and for it to happen so suddenly when he was still quite young was overwhelming especially since it was at the expense of his family. His father's death and then Levi's coma, and now it was his turn to be ran over by fate. He almost wondered what would happen to him since he was a leader and an Arcanium, which seemed to be pretty bad luck. "Either way I don't know how anyone can lead without losing their minds, Helios it's stressful!" Was that bad to admit? That was bad to admit. Oh well, it was just Archipelago.

Turning to Frightfur his features brightened a bit as he turned and unclipped a bag that had been tied to his tail. "Hey Frightfur I actually brought you some..." He paused as he brought the bag forward, tossing it to Frightfur gently so the insides didn't spill everywhere. "Candy!" While he didn't know Frightfur well it was hard not to notice the serval's candy addiction. Gareth didn't enjoy sweet food himself, but hey whatever. Glancing to the little girl his smiled softened slightly, "you can have some of the lollipops too."

"Anyway," he said as his attention went back to Archipelago, "I came to visit and see if any alliance was possible. I believe we are neutrals at the moment, and I thought it would be beneficial for both of us if we became allies."

"Aurum! Oh my God!" Gareth said like a little teenage girl, his face heated as he found himself incredibly emberassed. "Helios, ayway..." He said in an attempt to hide the giggle in his voice. "Yeah, Angeldust was exiled from Sunclan for killing the former leader Suga Arcanium, treason, and dodging a former ban." Sighing Gareth glanced down, his voice becoming softer, voice unsure. It was something he still regretted and was conflicted about despite understanding that he had been in the right. Cheering up he spoke up again, "but anyway, Cannon! Hi! What's up with Blizzardclan?" Carefully he attempted to hug Cannon, blushing hard and touching careful as his clan mates were around.

As he made space from Cannon he added, "and I'm looking to create an alliance between The Rift and Sunclan too." Archipelago was a close friend and someone hesaw as valuable, so it just made sense to make The Rift an ally, at leasT to him it did.

Yawning Gareth glanced to Thea and Aurum. Hm, a camera... Oh! A camera! "What's going on here?" Gareth said as he approached, smiling softly, careful to stay a comfortable distance from the two in case they were doing something intimate or something. "A documentary, is that what I heard? Interesting," he said, "very interesting indeed." His little smile grew in to a smirk, stretching his back. Hm, what was the documentary about anyway? Thea? He'd probably watch that. He didn't know her very well, but she was a lovely girl and someone he trusted along with being pretty interesting too.

Sitting back up with confident posture Gareth looked between the two. Hopefully he hadn't interrupted something.

Rubbing his temple Gareth sighed, he had just been a bit curious on the intentions of Aleksei and then... Helios, whatever. Clearing his throat he spoke up again, "The Cartel is already considered an enemy of Sunclan, so I'll just set the record straight for my clan mates who have heard any of the rumors." Nodding slightly he glanced to Archipelago and gestured to The Rift leader, "and I will offer my support for when it's necessary." Yup. It wasn't like he could do much else and he had just gotten out from a war, so he'd try to avoid entering one for as long as possible. Hoping there wasn't anything else that would come up Gareth got to his paws, standing still in quiet wait for Aleksei to respond or dismiss the meeting.

Gareth knew it was dumb to bring up Werifesteria to Cannon, he knew it was unfair to talk about the girl that still held a piece of his heart in her cold paws, yet he felt as if he had to. Like he couldn't... He couldn't move forward with Cannon until he admitted that he still struggled with the memory of Werifesteria. Maybe it would be easier to say that he loved Cannon if he was able to let go of the past, and Werifesteria was someone he couldn't just let go of, he needed to talk about her, he needed to come to terms that she was no longer alive, that his moving on wasn't a betrayal. Until he could do that he had to be fair to Cannon, right? He had to be honest before his inability to escape the past hurt the man that he saw as his future, that he hoped was his future. It didn't make sense and he was probably going to ruin everything and yet his gut told him to continue.

"Cannon?" Gareth said, glancing to the golden retriever beside him. The two had been strolling through the Sunclan gardens as Gareth wished to be alone and knew the gardens were pretty vast. "Uhm... We need to talk," he cringed before adding, "like, about stuff not anything serious. Well... No, but, Helios, I mean there's just something I gotta tell you." A nervous laugh bubbled from him, shoulders shrugging awkwardly and a tight smile gracing his tired features. Great, this was just going swell already. Helios how emberassing! Trying to regain his composure Gareth glanced away, biting his tongue. He'd already fucked up and he hadn't even said anything about Werifesteria. Helios he was so dumb.

So warning I might flood the board whoops

Gareth entered Levi's home quietly, taking note of how quiet it was despite it only weeks before bustling with the sound of children. What had happened? How had Gareth let this all happen? Exhaling with a sigh he moved forward, placing a basket full of medical supplies, water, fresh bedding, and liquefied food aside. That would come later, for now Gareth just wanted to be with his brother, to talk to Levi even if he wasn't actually there. Helios, Levi was... Was still there, he was, and he'd be awake soon, he had to, right? Coma wasn't an end all be all sort of deal. No, Levi would wake up some day, maybe even some day soon and he'd be able to see his children grow up and rectify Sunclan. He would. He would.

"Levi?" Gareth said softly as he entered the room where his brother lay, listening closely for any noise as if today would be the day Levi woke up. Of course it wasn't though and Gareth found himself swallowing hard as no response came forward. Right... Right. Continuing forward Gareth was careful not to knock into anything despite being there the night before, his pawsteps slow and measured. "Alright well, hey Levi," he said in his gentle voice, sitting beside Levi's bed. "It's Gareth and, uh, I just wanted to..." He blinked quickly to dispell tears that had formed. His nostrils flared, lips thinning in a frown, voice breaking as his throat burned. "To make sure you were all good, you know how that is." A sad smile grew on his features. "To see if you maybe woke up. You didn't, but that's okay." Gareth didn't know what to say really.

Taking in a sharp inhale he brought his paw out though to touch his brother's shoulder but it was trembling which made him bring it back to his side. Why was he shaking? "I never told you this, but I love you, I do," he laughed a bit, "even though I'm pretty sure you hate me. That isn't very uncommon though. It seems like everyone hates me..." Shaking his head Gareth slumped his shoulders. "I wish you would just wake up. You were always so confident and cool and you knew what to do. I don't know how you could make me your deputy." Eyes stinging from tears he looked down at the ground, a shuddering breath running through his chest.

What did he do? What did he say to his brother who hated him and was now in a coma? Helios, he was so dumb. "I don't know if you believe in Helios, but I was hoping I could pray with you. Even if you don't believe in Helios it's worth a try, right?" Right. His shaking paws wrapped around Levi's, eyes closing and breathing become slow. "Helios I hope that you can help Levi wake up, or at least keep him safe. He's a good man and my brother. The rightful leader of your clan. So please help him regain his health." Pausing for a breathless moment he held back tears, held back sobs. He wasn't good at speaking and his words were like that of a childs, so he hoped Helios payed more attention to the thrashing, heavy, intense pain he felt with every breath.

Losing every bit of composure he had held on to Gareth dissolved into tears, forehead dropping to Levi's paw. He trembled with anguished sobs that ripped up his insides. "He's my brother," he said through the tears. It hurt, Helios it hurt. Levi was his brother, someone he had looked up to since he was a child. Despite their differing opinions Gareth loved Levi just as much as he loved Zephyr. "Please," he begged pathetically, the sheets Levi lay on wet with tears. Gareth needed his brother, Sunclan needed Levi. Gareth wasn't strong enough to lead alone, he was weak and pathetic and idiotic and he needed his brother back.

Pushing away Gareth wiped away his tears, trying to regain himself. Fuck, fuck. He couldn't do this anymore. He had to be stronger or at least pretend to be. Turning from his brother Gareth got up and went back to the basket at the door. He had to... He had to clean up and so he did. An hour later a now fresh faced Gareth sat away from the now fresh bed, no evidence of the melt down present. The tube he had used to feed Levi along with the rest of his supplies and the dirty bedding in the basket. Sightless eyes stared ahead, empty. What was he going to do? What was he going to do.

Gareth had watched the whole affair with both an amused and a terrified expression. While he couldn't cook, especially any sweet food, Thea seemed to be an absolute disaster. It was charming until he realized that if she got heated enough over the damn brownies he'd be burnt to a crisp. Which would be pleasing for some Gareth just couldn't find the appeal in it. Stepping forward Gareth looked the dragon over. "I think I know what's wrong," he said with a laugh in his tone as he stood in front of Thea. "Thea, you gotta add eggs! Eggs and also don't send them on fire," he shook his head, sitting down. "Though honestly that's probably how mine would turn out too." Guess he wasn't the right person to give advice for baking. Though he didn't know anyone in particular who was good at that sort of thing.

Grinning Gareth tried not to completely laugh at Thea because again, he didn't want to become as burnt as her poor brownies. "Did you try reading a recipe? Like, from a book?"

"For real? That's awesome," he said in response to Thea's answer, glancing at Aurum and the camera. Crap! "Do I look okay? Do I look leader... Leader-y?" Oh Helios that sounded so dumb and it was caught on camera and everything. Great, now whoever saw the documentary would think he was a fool. Though to be fair he was a total fool. Straightening his posture as Aurum turned the camera on him Gareth said, "oh- oh wait a second I'm no- go Sunclan!" The massive, muscular catsune sounded like a cheerleader cheering for his team and not at all like the leader of a clan, his features wide as he was caught off guard by the camera.

Turning to Thea as the hawk almost toppled her over Gareth smacked his paw on to his forehead. Helios, Sunclan was the clan of idiots, all captured on film. "Who are you gonna show this?" Gareth said like a mom who had been video taped by her son while she was getting ready. He had been caught without make up! "You better cut this part out!" He scolded despite not being serious at all.
