//OOC
His memories had been reset again. Not that he'd had much before, but things had still changed. Regardless, his basic "instincts" were still intact, and he was still wary of potentially dangerous creatures- like Thea. The pixelated cat was doing his own thing as usual. This time there was a pile of dirt between his paws, and he was patting it higher and higher, watching it swap from blocks to... unnatural, and back again. He'd never seen such a thing before. This was really, really cool.
It became a lot less cool and a lot more scary when a large, unseen finger poked him from behind. Startled, an exclamation point briefly glitched above his head as he leaped into the air, orange eyes wide. Scrambling, his dirt pile was kicked away as he whipped around to face a dragon. His tail seemed thicker than it was before. Was it supposed to be fluffed out? Two navy blue ears were pinned to his pixelated head as he stared up at the fiery-colored reptile warily. Just like the first time, a thin bar appeared above her head, followed by the number -100 as a tiny sliver of it became red. It vanished. This was supposed to be a safe zone- was it not a safe zone? Maybe all the other monsters had been scared away by the dragon. Where was Master Aron? Was he safe? He needed help...
A jagged speech bubble shivered in the air as it began to fill with text. Maybe it was representing a shout? ["What do you want, dragon?"]

//OOC
His excitement at the prospect of a Quest was apparent in the excited quivering of his body as well as the ripples of light that passed through his frame. As the one who seemed to be offering them smiled at him and the other, he watched with eager eyes as the pencil scratched across the paper before being handed to him. Seating himself sturdily on his haunches, Gameover reached out and plucked up the paper. At once it transformed into a pixelated sheet of paper. Orange stare flickering from left to right, he seemed to read the paper (despite the fact that the words had vanished from the page). Small, blocky text momentarily hung in the air. New Quest! Explore the beach and find something useful and/or interesting.
His bright features faltered. Wait. The paper seemed to evaporate, pixels of light shooting to the pack on his back. The pouch briefly glowed. Poe’s message was now in his Inventory. Gameover looked up at him, a question mark above his head. A speech bubble replaced it. [“Uh, what’s the Beach? Is it a location or town? What exactly am I looking for?”] He’d never heard of the Beach before. He still didn’t know what the reward for completing this Quest would be- maybe it would be rewarded at the end?

//shit forgot about this already
It hadn’t attacked, so he held his ground carefully. He didn’t want to provoke it into wreaking havoc on the village. His fearful stare flickered past the dragon to check for anyone nearby. The villagers were still mulling about peacefully. Didn’t they know of the dangerous reptile that threatened their homes with its bloodlust and flames?
One ear twitched at the rapid questions. It could speak? Slowly, Gameover’s ears straightened themselves, but he remained tense and alert. His treehouse? What was a treehouse? He didn’t have any of those. Was the dragon trying to trade with him? Was this one... friendly? No. It must be trying to trick him. The blocky cat’s head lowered again. [“No,”] came his simple response. He didn’t answer the querie about the dirt.
