Herrrrre's my star! She's a blue maned wolf

Ah the guide said stars can go anywhere so is it alright if I stick her in RiverClan? If we need a reason it could be that she's searching for Antares
-
Awesme awesome! And omg that's actually really funny, we match!!

She had spent so long searching, searching, searching. It felt like forever, and she still had not found them. After some time she felt herself drawn back to the sea, as always, following the coastline and wave patterns as though they were the most natural form of navigation. The wind and the sea always were more reliable than any map she'd ever read.
The journey led Canopus to a border, one she didn't recognize but one that smelled of salt and mist. It was comforting, brought a smile to the maned wolf's expression which had been solemn for so many moons. If there were a good sign in the world, this was it. This was a place where she felt belonging tugging at her heart, and if her other half were to know where to find her, it would be here. Her own journey had proven fruitless; perhaps it was time to rest.
Cannie raised her head to the wind, smiling even wider now as she took in the scents. Silver eyes peered into the horizon, hoping to find someone coming near soon enough. "Hello? I would like to stay in this place, please," she called out uncertainly, blue tail sweeping the ground in a nervous tick.

Hello hello! Tossing this little lady into the clan

Oooo hi hi!! It's gonna be awesome here omg
Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

Cannie gave a soft smile and dipped her head in greeting to the approaching resident, relaxing her previous childish grin. It was nice that this wasn't a place where she had to convince someone of her worth to join. Perhaps she had already sensed that this would be much simpler, considering how welcoming the waves always were. "Thank you, Obscuro. My name is Canopus, and I very much appreciate the welcome." Her natural formality felt much more comfortable here.
Twitching her ears, she glanced around once more, taking in the sights before her. "Might I ask where camp is? I'd love to get to know the others who reside here."

Cannie enjoyed seeing her family, despite having been away from them for a time. Her cousins certainly were a lively bunch, but that was good to be around every now and again, although she wasn't sure how their clanmates over in SunClan took all the siblings on a daily basis. She was sure it could be tiring.
The maned wolf padded to the snacks, gingerly grabbing a cracker for herself alongside some juice. With a sly look to Mars, she stated, "If you don't appreciate the food I'll gladly eat your share."

Cannie couldn't help but feel a warmth spread in her heart as her new clanmates gathered to welcome her. It was so nice to live somewhere so welcoming; it meant that she wouldn't need to be concerned if her old partner came looking for her here.
The maned wolf dipped her head again, this time to Shininglight. Captain sounded like the leader position, at least in her mind. "Thank you so much, Shinginglight." She looked around to the others, offering each of them a soft smile. "It is so good to meet you all, I look forward to living here with each of you."

Ah, living here meant it was definitely time to get into the swing of things and start helping out. A weekly task sounded like a good place to start for that. It would give her the opportunity to see what types of things needed doing around here while she was adjusting to her role.
Cannie stepped forward, leaning down to speak to Lessa. "I would also like a task, if you don't mind."

It had been so long since Cannie had had time to simply admire the beauty of a territory. Even longer since she'd had enough time to search through the plants, trying with all her might to remember their names and scents. Though some did smell familiar, it was difficult for her to recall their exact title. She had spent far too long forgetting the ways of the world in its simplicity.
She may not have been one to get into fights on purpose, but traveling the world often resulted in injury whether one was expecting or not. Plenty of times she had been patched up by some kind soul only to leave soon afterwards, so one would think she would have some idea of what she was looking at. Yet still the plants' functions managed to escape her.
In something akin to frustration, she found herself picking through the plants of the territory and grabbing anything that seemed medicinal. When she had returned to camp she had a sizable bundle of plant varieties which she laid at her feet. With one paw she began examining each of them closely, giving an occassional sniff and taste. "I know these are important somehow, I just have to. . . remember." Self encouragement was an important part of success, even if everyone else just saw it as talking to yourself.

Ooo nostalgia week is good, Cannie would be The Last Unicorn

Cannie had been completely absorbed in her futile study of the compounds in front of her, so much so that Wylan's appearance caused to her jump for a moment. "Oh!" She blinked several times, reciting his words in her mind. "I- sorry, I was just so curious. I've always wanted to know more about herbs, and they smelled a bit familiar so I thought maybe. . ." She trailed off. Perhaps she had eaten herbs in the past, but Wylan had a point, and furthermore none of them tasted like something she really wanted to put in her mouth at all.
Her expression quickly morphed into a sheepish smile, her ears drawn back in embarrassment. "I would appreciate a bit of help, if you don't mind." Supervision would be a lot safer, all things considered. And Wylan seemed to know more than she did.
Cannie grabbed one of the plants in front of her, a small bunch of blue flowers with short leaves. "What's this one do? The flowers are awfully beautiful."

So here's Cannie, my newest bab, and she's definitely in need of some friends!
She's mostly really relaxed and tries to act like a proper young lady, though sometimes she can be a little shy since she makes mistakes easily. She loves water and boats and really really wants to learn more about medicine if she can. Also she has a terrible fear of snakes. She's open to:
-friendships
-best friends!
-a healing mentor
-maybe a crush? it would be very conflicting for her
-trying to heal other clanmates
also feel free to suggest anything else that comes to mind!

As Shining approached, Cannie perked up, happy to see the kind leader coming to join her. She nodded at first to his initial question, but at the mention of a guild her face lifted in intense curiosity, her ears perking taller than ever. "A medical guild?" The title was familiar, she was sure the clan her family lived in had something similar, but she wasn't entirely sure what it entailed.
Though despite her lack of knowledge on the subject, Cannie couldn't help but feel this was something she needed to know more about. A guild for medicines could surely teach her more about her interests, and no doubt there were other members of the guild to help her. With an even brighter smile, the blue maned wolf quickly stood in excitement, bringing her face closer to Shining. "Oh you simply must tell me how to join, I so want to know more about this!"
-
Ooo yes yes! She needs friends to cut through that formality. Want them to have an interaction thread and see how goes?
cannie would be so traumatized omg -
Those both sound super awesome! I'd love threads for both Shininglight and ELIZABETH SWANN. (Cannie already likes Shining so he'd be a great mentor and she really needs a boat friend so Elizabeth is perfect)
Who makes new threads?
-
Ah yes that would be great! Thank you!

I'm really craving a sweet romance story for my girl; the catch is she'll feel like she's betraying her old love, so it'll take some time and maybe some angst before she admits to being in love. I'd like for it to be a long term relationship that develops and eventually leads to children, so throw me your sappy love stories.
Some info about Cannie: she's part of the Weltraum family (Most of whom are in SunClan) and is currently in RiverClan studying medicine. She's a very sweet maned wolf with a calm disposition, somewhat elegant but more subdued than royalty. She can be a bit shy at first which manifests as her prim-and-proper mannerisms, but when she gets to know someone she loves to joke around and can even be teasing and sarcastic. But at heart she's super caring and just wants to be of help.
I'm up for any character who you think will suit a sad-along-the-way-but-happy-ending-maybe plot, and I'm definitely up for any other suggestions for how the relationship develops (I love drama). They can be from a RiverClan ally for ease or an enemy for Romeo-and Juliet. Also Cannie is pansexual with a slight preference for males.
Just toss your charries at me along with any ideas!

Finding out that her new home had a medical guild had been the best news that Cannie had heard in a long time. Spending all her time traveling the lands had given her a great appreciation for opportunities to help others, but very few hours for which she could actually practice it. She had a few quick techniques, some basic knowledge of how to patch up a wound on-the-go, but that was where it ended. The extent of the knowledge one had to have to be a true medic was beyond the scope of what she'd managed to gain.
But finally she would have a chance! She had settled down and now could truly focus on understanding plants and not just cobwebs. The maned wolf was presently padding toward the location Shininglight had given her, some place the medical guild gathered frequently. She had decided to head there at her earliest free moment, unable to contain how much she was looking forward to beginning her learning process.
Upon arriving she spotted Shining and hurried her pace to meet up with him. She tried to hold back her massive grin (she didn't want to appear childish about the ordeal), but didn't quite succeed. "Hello Shining! I hope you don't mind, but I'd love to get a look around." And maybe a little more, like some way to remember all those herbs. Though she hoped she wasn't disturbing the patients with her excitement.
