She had experienced parties, but never anything on this scale. What she had seen was usually organic music, nothing like the sound assaulting her from all sides as it did now. Rather than partying into the night she had also always fallen asleep, lulled by the drink and lack of decent entertainment of any form- neither regular games or anything more sinful. This was the first opportunity that she had to experience the noise and adrenaline that begun to flood through her, filling the hound with anticipation.
Following her sister's lead Astral launched herself at a bottle and began to sip at the delicious substance that was alcohol. She had tried beer in the past, but this had a very different and sharper taste to it; sweeter though, and much more satisfying. At first, she winced slightly, yet then took another sip and leaned back against a table to watch the rest of the party. Since there was no plan to this evening she’d just have to drink and chat to the npcs for now, until she became intoxicated enough to interrupt her clanmates that would be content and having a good time. Or perhaps she’d dance, though the femme didn’t have much experience in that department either.

tracking for now

She heard something rustle within the cave and a saw the flicker of a faint, purple light. It was eerie, she couldn’t think of a reason why there would be a light, much less an occult-like violet one. Nevertheless, the curiosity pulled her onward and without much thought the canine moved into the darkness that may or may not swallow her mortal self. Her keen demonic eyes made the black surroundings easy to make out, and some steps into the cave she managed to make out a large shape. It was similar, when she thought back, to the hulking figure of Imperius Grimm. A dragon.
“Ahem,” she tipped her head to the side, hesitating. It appeared as if he was sleeping and though she didn’t want to disturb him, she had already long since trespassed into what seemed to be the stranger’s home. Wouldn't it be odd and intrusive to just leave? She hesitated, staring at the Exiler with a mixture of apprehension and eagerness. Her own flames then flickered on, flying in between her and the male in the form of a large moth to light up the surroundings and the dragon himself. At that moment her breath caught, as the sight in front of her became that of a pile of interconnected bones creating a skeletal being, that would have appeared lifeless if not for the faint movement in sleep. “Hello? I’m sorry, uh, are you ok?” she raised her voice now that his true form had been revealed, worry now replacing any boldness that had been in her earlier greeting.
-
“Astralpaw, it’s great to meet... you?” the hellhound started and faltered just as quickly when the Colouredclanner came into sight. She looked familiar, and the Rogue quieted for a moment as she rushed through her memories. It was right at the start, quite recently, in the last few weeks. Hadn’t she been in the raid against them? Though when occupied by battle Astral hadn’t caught her opponents’ names, it was something that she should fall into the habit of doing. It wasn’t polite to only injure rivals without showing them any respect. Enemies were enemies, but any fight that she survived would leave her with a valuable lesson.
After a long moment her surprised expression turned into a relaxed one. Well, this should make her objective of friendship easier? Maybe? The femme didn’t seem eager to attack her, and so in the canine’s mind that already left ample room for negotiations. All she wanted was to speak, after all, not attack the smaller female. “Ah, we’ve met before, right? How have you been? How’s Colouredclan? I’m not here to fight or anything, actually I’m lost…” she smiled, sitting down comfortably as she waited for how the other would react.

Another meeting already? It was shocking how time could pass so rapidly, she still felt as if she'd been with the Rogues for only a week, when it had already rushed through several. Granted, she hadn't done a whole lot in that period, which made Fourthwall's speech a slight motivational kick for the femme. She had some ideas for an event or training session, not so much for what kind of raid she could set up. Besides, although she valued raids Astral couldn't say that she was excited enough about them to set one up herself, plus it would throw a wrench into her projects to become the face of the Blackheart's violence. A harmless event was much more enticing to her. "Alright~!" she replied, placing herself beside the small dinosaur.

a thread with astral?

When she had first joined, the hellhound hadn't done anything social. She hadn't even met everyone in the Rogues yet, as seen by the fact that Nero was a complete stranger to her. Since the canine often wandered out of the territory, she had never put much thought into making herself a great social presence either. But it was never too late, and with a purpose in mind she came over to what was now a small group at the male's call. Finding Pit's familiar form she threw herself down next to him, rolled onto her stomach and stretched out to look like a true family pup - if there had been a couch or a fireplace, the image would be complete.
Rather than the wolf in front of her however, it was his pelt that fascinated her. Did it move at will? Was it a predetermined patterns or random? She stared at the question marks that appeared, stammering out a greeting as she struggled to keep her eyes politely on his. "... I'm Astralpaw, welcome! I'm one of those many siblings," she grinned, shrugging slightly. They all had their own relationships and some Fourthwall children were more active or social than others, so it wasn't much of a problem for the hound. Catching onto Nero's origins, she looked up as if thrilled, "the Cartel? Oooh, I know them! They're really interesting, what was the Mafia like?"

Manic wasn't either the clanmate or family member that she was closest to. Nonetheless, that didn't prevent the frustration that rose up in the hound. That she had been helpless to stop this, that she'd wished to make peacewith those creatures that had hurt the female to this extent. She felt the heat of anger fill her mind, part of it hers and another half spurred on by that Darkness which usually lay dormant, waiting for that instance when her attention would lapse and it could take rein of her emotions. Though one element of her thoughts believed in the cold logic that was the survival of the fittest - this was Manic's weakness and the outcome was purely bad luck - it was very quickly overwhelmed by the guilt and irritation within the femme.
She had rushed over just in time to spot Kayn be pushed away, and at the heavy atmosphere in the room her gaze scanned the injured hellhound with an anxious look. For a moment she felt as if she was going to choke at the sight of her cousin and she gritted her teeth, her movements stiff as she moved to stand a few centimeters behind Kayn. "Yeah... they'll regret it," she muttered, her voice bitter but holding an upbeat undertone, as if already experiencing the happiness of that knowledge. It was a cliché phrase yet one that she thought was apt, particularly when looking around at the group of other canines that would no doubt be willing to bring it to fruition.
After a few seconds she felt a slight shock and shook herself out of the trance, this time looking at the large Rogue for a different reason. She'd initially come here to find Lukas, not over a sixth sense. It didn't seem as though he'd come here yet, and she glanced at Fourthwall. Did he have any medical knowledge? Did Kayn? All she knew that was relevant was that bandages were used for wounds, and ginger was good for colds or to stop vomiting, nothing on the in-depth knowledge that would be needed in this situation.

It was always in the apprentice's interest to glean some new knowledge, especially if it was related to battle. She wasn't a war fanatic, instead she often aimed to use conflict as a motivational tool for her creativity. Not only new tactics, recently she'd also been contemplating methods to make her attacks both more effective and flamboyant. While her powers were usually nestled at the back of her mind, when it came to a raid her fire flourished in various bold colours and was manipulated into shapes, while the canine herself accompanied the power with fluid movements. It made every fight more fun and memorable to Astral, as if turning the battlefield into a violent display of dance.
This would most likely be more informative than creative, but it nevertheless captured the female's interest. She made her way over, choose to sit beside Nero with an enthusiastic gaze. "What are we starting with?" While she'd heard Darius' words, the other two had already given their replies, and so she let the event go over her head and prepared herself for the discussion that they were here for.

I know, same. I'm so exhausted all the time o.o

OH, people, has anyone watch kingsman?
edit; what is newegg??

Even before the mini-meeting and Fourth's suggestion for events, Astral had known that she needed to set up something related to Halloween. The only issue had been to choose whether to set up another creative activity or something more useful, and after some thought had gone for a game that the femme was personally fond of. Following the theme from her previous task, pumpkins would be used instead of flags, and with some help from npcs, Jupiter and the natural creepiness of their territory the game itself would hopefully have some added spookiness. The two large, well-rounded pumpkins lay in front of her, one red and the other the traditional orange. Next to them was also a small basket holding a bunch of ribbons, with an equal number of each of the two colours. "Everyone come over for a game... training!" She sat down, waiting for someone to join her before she began to explain.

I'll add the groups here:
Group 1: Crownpaw, Osric, Aonydis
Group 2: Andromedia, Fourthwall

Astral hadn't been blind to the bad blood between Final and Kayn, but she had never tried to find out what the reason was; she had always just attributed their conflicts to a simple rivalry. From the situation now, though, it was obviously something more than that. The hound made her way over to stand beside Pit first, watching the situation with some confusion. Initially she would have agreed with his sentiment of fighting it out until as long as they didn't kill each other, however it seemed that after the verbal abuse from both sides it may well end with the disappearance of at least one of them.
Her own standpoint faltered between the two 'sides' that had formed: her siblings, and then Darius with Kayn. Family. Wasn't that what she was here for? Whether it was Fourthwall or any of her siblings, and whatever their transgressions, wasn't it her duty to stand by them? Well, she had failed. While that had been her mentality and objective a month ago, emotionally the femme would have to stand by Kayn. He was a friend, and his importance was slowly rising to be on the level of the rest of her family. Therefore if it came down to a choice, she didn't want either of them to win this confrontation, whatever it was.
Taking a look at Final's seeping darkness, Andromedia and then Kayn's behemoth form, rather than feeling frightened she felt her own shadow stirring in response to the powerful spirits, and it was spurred on by the adrenaline that arose from the pure tension in the air. Her fur rose slightly and eyes took on a dull glow, not as flashy as Fenrir or the other hellhounds yet, but not Astral's normally distracted self. She stepped forward and moved slightly into the combatants range of fire, although not to the extent that she was standing between them with paws raised like sort of hero. "Is- uh, isn't this enough? Both of you are strong. That's great to know. But I think you should stop? Or, I mean, maybe you should both just start fighting, instead of throwing around words and appearances. What are you, birds? It would be sad if either or you actually died, though, so it would be nice if you calmed down..." If it turned out that they did fight then she was prepared to step back and enjoy the show, however until that happened she plastered a teasing grin on her maw and directed her optics at Kayn.

VIRGASNARE. andromedia and astral neeed a thread! both to talk as siblings and about all the angst that is going on at the moment tbh :3

This was a new face, something that Astral would always welcome. It had been quite a slow week for her and having a newcomer motivated her to stir out of her slump to seek out conversation. While the canine was completely in the dark, it seemed that Pit knew him (or had at least heard of him), which reassured her that this wasn't some kind of enemy ambush or stranger. She wouldn't be strongly against that either, but even the hyperactive hound was partial to the nice and relaxed start to the day. "Mr Hippie?" she popped around the corner and strode up to stand beside the cub, a grin appearing when she heard the title. Sitting down and leaning back she then lifted a paw to wave in greeting, "it's nice to meet you! I'm Astralpaw. Where did you come from? Have you joined us?"
-
She stepped back as the space available in the cave became rapidly smaller. In the meantime her expression turned sheepish, even if she couldn't quite conceal the look of glee that surfaced; there was no fear in the femme as she sat down and took in the sight of the awakened dragon. If he were to attack her, it would be his size and physical strength that would be likely to injure her, which aroused awe, but if his plan were to use the dramatic flames then the strategy wouldn't be quite so effective. If there was one element that the femme felt was her own, then it was fire.
"My name's Astralpaw! I'm from the Blackheart Rogues, it's great to meet you, I'm sorry for disturbing you. If you don't mind, why are you here? Also uh, are you alive? Physically...?" it wasn't phrased eloquently - clearly he was alive, but the hellhound wondered whether the skeletal appearance was just a costume, or if he was some sort of zombified being.

YES
that's great! who makes the thread?
yeah... and the sad thing is that he'd probably suffer if he ended up trying to have a relationship with astral xD
also, *points at final v kayn thread* -.-

In other words, there was no direct enmity towards the Rogues. At that realisation she unexpectedly felt relief rush through her, and she gave a vigorous but satisfied nod. The whole dislike for Fourthwall she had already foreseen, since that seemed to be the main issue that other groups had with them. Since this sentiment didn't seem to be shared directly by Imeprius, it appeared that the Westeros could become one of the groups that Astral would come to visit fairly regularly. Within reason. Of course they might have to fight in the future, particularly if Imperius had Colouredclan or Shadowclan as allies, but that didn't phase the hellhound and her long-term wishes.
Her ears flicked at his next question and she released a breath she had been holding unconsciously. "I believe that it's fine to do both. I guess, uh, we can brawl if you'd like, though you'd probably win...," it was simple as to her, this personal whim and her rivals in conflict were easily separated. "Do you have good relations with your allies then?"

that'd be good, thank you!

that makes complete sense. I'd love to continue the thread between xia and astral, but I want some kind of purpose to my private threads instead of wandering around. I realised that I lose muse way too quickly with normal interactions. Is there any way or direction you'd like to develop their relationship? Or use astral to develop xia in some way? this is kind of vague but yeah, lol :3
