♥ ― To those that were nearby, they would see the silhouette of a stranger heading through the cool night air, weariness practically dragging the creature down. It would seem like every step was dragging the creature down, and maybe it was. The creature, Nikita, only wanted somewhere to sleep. Well, that was the only thing on his mind right at the moment. And, so, when he had found the nearest place, he had not hesitated in heading towards it. Maybe he would finally manage to rest.
How long had he been traveling again? He searched his memories for a good estimate, and came up short. His only guess was a while. It didn't help that he wasn't sure why he had headed here. Longing for adventure, he supposed. Even if he wanted to go back, he couldn't now. Rather, he wouldn't. It was too far of a distance to travel, one that he didn't enjoy the thought of trekking again. Catching the scent of the border, he came to a stop, wondering what to do next.
He hadn't been standing there long when how tired he was hit him with new force, and he crumpled ungratefully, a ball of black, gray and white fur. He didn't exactly like the thought of someone wandering upon him while he was like this, but he was too tired to do anything about it. It would just have to work for now, even if it wasn't something he would do if he had been even slightly more awake.

♥ ― The scent of someone drawing closer was what caused Nikita to stir, although slightly, just a flick of his ear. As the unknown creature grew closer, his glowing eyes glanced up to see a cat. It didn't seem much older than him, and smaller from the looks of things. In fact, he knew that if he had been standing, he would have towered over the feline. The scarf is what caught his attention. It was bright, even with as dark as it was, and he couldn't help the confused thoughts that ran through his mind. Surely it wasn't cold enough for a scarf, was it?
The questions were enough to send a small pang of annoyance through him, but he didn't make any attempt to show that. Instead, he sat up, a sigh escaping him from the motion. "Just tired." It wasn't a lie; he was tired. Exhausted, to be exact, but he wouldn't let such a thing slip.

♥ ― Not long after Nikita had answered the first one, another came forward, and- what was that? The sight came as a bit of a shock to him. Sure, he probably looked a bit odd, but nothing like this creature. The shock was probably obvious in his features, just for a moment, before he glanced away. As the creature moved closer, Nikita froze. Was he about to be murdered right here? He doubted he would get away if the much larger creature decided to attack. Luckily, though, the creature backed up, asking a question and offering two names; Sek and Rinto. His gaze went from the two, noting their names. Then, the question sunk in. Should he join? He hesitated for a moment, unsure. There would be so many creatures to meet, so many names. But there'd be a place to sleep, as well. Food. Friends. Protection. It would be worth a few names, right? Making up his mind, he answered. "I'll join. It's nice to meet you, Rinto, Sek. I'm Nikita."
