—— //sorry it took a while, i got kinda busy with school - whitepaw.

it was a typical afternoon for bloodclan, daylight shining on the empty, trash-filled streets and through the cracked windows of the equally empty hotel. however, today would not be a typical day for oscar- the small yet lean, jet-black cat slipped through a dug space under the chain link fence separating the two territories. he invented a little mission for himself; since he and aysa had arranged a prank to pull on these 'thunderclanners', he would check out their territory to get a "lay of the land", and maybe even mess around with some of their stuff while he was at it. although... well, he hadn't seen aysa in a while. he hadn't seen anyone, but aysa was the only person in bloodclan he could say he really had any concern for. the street was clear, the hotel fell eerily silent, and when he shouted through the hallways there was no reply, not even his own echo. oscar just needed something to occupy himself, because morag wasn't going to be assigning any tasks or raids anytime soon.

his soft pawsteps barely made a sound as he briskly padded into thunderclan's territory, sniffing a little bit too much, paranoid. this was officially enemy turf, so even though bloodclan was typically seen as the aggressors and the attackers, he felt vulnerable in a land he didn't recognize. still, the well-muscled boy rushed along, golden collar shimmering in the sun, taking careful note of the sights of the forest around him. it was impressive, really- nicer than bloodclan's territory for sure. if only his three beloved siblings hadn't chosen the city-dwelling brutes when they first fled the twolegplace, but now he had already followed them there and wasn't keen on running off. well, if he wanted to get somewhere in the future there was no use dwelling on the past. oscar simply continued gazing blankly at the green foliage and fallen orange leaves around him, clear seafoam eyes taking in his first time in a proper forest.

    —— boredom.

that was all he felt, just boredom. as much as the young tom knew that seeking out conflict was not the best way to seem like a smart, charismatic leader(which he totally would be), it was just so dull. oscar hadn't seen a single damn sign of life in the streets for days, and barely anyone in the hotel. he spent a while studying up on things, but that got boring even faster- although he did get some fun tidbits of information on their little holidays they had here, more specifically Bloodmoon in about a week. hopefully, he'd have someone more active to celebrate with, because oscar doubted his ability to bring down a full-on turkey by himself. the idea of eating a turkey, however, was what finally gave oscar an idea of what to do. there were some farmlands nearby, according to some info by an npc bloodclanner, and farmlands meant chickens- those were close enough to turkeys, right? that, he concluded, was what he would practice some hunting skills on.

however, when oscar finally reached the open plains and barn in the farmlands, he hadn't anticipated the presence of the perky-eared, tall, lean border collie lounging around the barn. oscar had just finished off a chicken that was almost larger than himself, biting forcefully down on the back of its neck, when he suddenly yelped in panic as he scrambled to run from the barking dog. his jaws let the dead chicken slip free as a sharp pain shot through his hind leg, sharp teeth tearing his skin and drawing blood. instinctually he reached back and swiped his unsheathed claws, leaving cuts beading with blood across the canine's face. as the dog let go of his leg, distracted by his wound, oscar snapped up his prized chicken and half-limped out of there as quickly as he could, disappearing into the tall grass and away as the dog decided it wasn't worth the chase.

the doors of the hotel swung open as the black cat padded in, blood on his leg mostly dry but retaining the slight limp. he padded farther into the lobby, leaping up onto a couch and laying on his side as soon as possible. the chicken was beside him, lifeless and slightly larger than oscar himself, and he glanced at it with some pride, then flipping over on the couch lazily punctuated with a grunt. "Urgh..."

—— "exactly what do you think you're doing trespassing on thunderClan territory?"

oscar's velvety black ears shot up as he heard the sound of a voice, leg muscles tensing for a moment as the tom whipped around to face the stranger, ears instinctively laying flat against his head as he braced himself for an attack. however, claws weren't already flying towards his face, so the bloodclanner took the opportunity to assess his 'opponent', sly green eyes locked firmly on whitepaw. the unfamiliar feline didn't look much older than oscar himself from what he could tell, and smelled strongly of the scent that surrounded the forest along with the tinge of many unfamiliar cats. thunderclanners.

the 9 month old also smelled something else on him- the distinct scent of prey, likely freshly caught. his first thought was to attack the other and nab his freshkill; he was damn hungry, and with everyone else seemingly missing from bloodclan there was no one to mooch off of for food. however, his guess was that they would be a pretty even match since oscar was skilled but the thunderclan apprentice was older. instead, his posture relaxed, signature smirk returning to his maw and charcoal tail flicking with amusement at the situation. that sounded like a rather rehearsed question, the kind that had no good answer. could he get this guy out of robot mode for an actual conversation? well, time to find out. "hunting newborn kittens and devouring their guts, of course. just a day in the life of a scary bloodclanner."

    —— //mobile

    "okay."

oscar answered briefly as the voice rung out in the main lobby, raising his head to look at her, revealing that the ebony tom had been laying sideways on a couch. he sat up, watching the femme carefully with a slight tilt of his head. oscar recognized her- she was the one he and aysa met by the border when giving out the alliance gifts."i don't care, but you'd better not cause any trouble."

—— elixir. the unfamiliar she-cat at the door spoke her name, catching the jet-black feline's attention. if it was company she craved she'd be surely disappointed- oscar didn't see much company around here anymore. maybe his clanmates showed up once in a while, but unless things got better he would hardly call their brief appearances company. the sleek, lean tom gently jumped down from a red couch in the lobby, seafoam green eyes locking onto the midnight-colored stranger curiously. "yup, thats fine. at least, I'm not gonna stop you. so I guess your rank is probably an 'inferior' now, just like me- you have to prove yourself or some dumb thing before you get to be a full member. basically they just want an easy scapegoat. i wouldn't take any of it too seriously." the boy talked casually, boredly, to elixir, sitting with a relaxed look on his maw. no one had stopped his sass so far, so oscar planned on taking his comments about the clan a bit farther. "by the way, I'm oscar."

—— //sorry about all of them, they were troll accounts, they got banned apparently//

watching from afar, oscar eyed the stranger curiously. he didn't recognize the she-cat, but from what the lean former kittypet could see, others seemed to be avoiding her.. were they afraid? the jet-black feline blinked in curiosity, tail flicking as he looked at the she-cat, beginning to pad over to her with his signature friendly, confident smirk. "hey, i'm oscar. i don't think i've met you before, who are you?"
