The petite five month old kitten was bedraggled. She had a few bandages on her, but most of them were falling off. Her formerly vibrant red fur was muddy and stringy, and a dirty brown color. Her eyes were tired, and her tail dragged behind her as if she had no energy left in her body to carry it. The slender feline was malnourished, and bony, and her ears were flattened against the back of her head, as she trudged on. It wasn't long until the injured, dirty child came upon a boarder, which quite interested her, she'd been walking for days now, and had yet to find somewhere to settle down. She was too tired now to attempt to catch her own food, and as she collapsed on the boarder of ShadowClan territory, her broken paw throbbing, and her many cuts, scrapes, and bruises painful, she wondered if anyone would even find her.

The feline wasn't even sure if this larger animal had even seen her, it seemed like she was staring straight at her, or through her... and for a few seconds, Coloredkit feared she would become the lunch of this canine seeming animal was going to eat her. However these fears were gone shortly after they arrived when the great beast turned and ran away... well, dying slowly was still better than being eaten alive by what looked a lot like... what had... she began to cry quietly, not able to finish the thought. However her fears returned shortly when the animal returned, a rabbit clutched in their maw.

Coloredkit's eyes opened wide and she looked fearfully at the beast in front of her, however, the rabbit was dropped directly at her paws, and the muddy, bloody kitten was shocked. The words spoken by the canine animal surprised the small child even more. Food for her? She had to admit, she was starving, she'd been away for so long, traveling, running... never time to really sleep or eat. The malnourished kitten looked up slowly, and blinked. The rabbit was pushed closer to her, and she sunk her small teeth into the still warm flesh of the animal, tearing a small chunk of meat off and chewing it with her famished stomach rumbling for it to be swallowed.

Coughing the child looked back at the much larger animal after a few more bites of food were warming her belly. "I... my... dogs... lots of dogs." The kitten whimpered. Her family had been just passing through a two leg settlement, and a pack of dogs had descended on them. She remembered someone pushing her into a pile of hay, and then nothing more until she woke up to blood, so much blood, and the remains of her family. There were a few missing, and she really hoped that they had gotten away, but those dogs had been so... scary. A terrified kitten had snuck away from the scene of the massacre and had bolted. She'd continued running for days, sleeping sparely and eating almost never.

She'd continued until she could go no more, and collapsed. A battered ball of fluff, injured and muddy, unable to go any further. She felt tears come to her eyes as she remembered the loss of her family, and the small child sniffled. "Are you gonna eat me?" She asked worriedly.
