an arsenal of blades keeps the hounds at bay — cin carries a variety of different accessories and trinkets on them ranging from jewellery to offensive weapons that they use when necessary (and, sometimes, even when necessary). due to their apathy towards any kind of gender roles or gender specific items as a result of their otherworldly origin, they will gladly wear or use whatever they please regardless of any stigma. as a result, they will openly wear things such as fancy necklaces whilst also having a sophisticated bowtie fastened around their throat.
cin wears a black lace choker around his neck at all times with a small topaz jewel hanging from it. this looks fairly plain though it is in fact modified and has many small loops on it that they use for storage purposes. for example, they keep one of their switchblades and one of their daggers in the loops though they too are black and therefore not noticeable against the dark fabric of the choker. they also keep their stationary for the day in these loops.
one thing that cin can never be found without is their journal which they can often be found writing in when they believe that they are alone. they carry this everywhere and refuse to let anyone else read it. as far as the journals go, their current one is the second and the first is in a location only known to cin and fumio where the latter is the guardian for cin's home and most important belongings. the current journal is a fresh one, the first page being the only one with writing on in where cin discloses their mission and purpose in the sanctuary. if this were to fall into the wrong hands, things could go very badly for cin. as a result, they are prone to react with extreme violence if anyone were to attempt to take it away from them, regardless of who it is. exceptions may be made, depending on how they regard the individual though they care very little for ranking. if you mess with cin, they will not take it lying down.
they also carry a small pencil case on them when travelling that holds a few black pens, a few plain graphite pencils, and a plethora of multicoloured pens and pencils. this is but a fraction of their full collection of writing utensils however the rest of their stationary are back at 'home', guarded by fumio alongside the first journal. typically, they do not take the pencil case everywhere and instead have one of the black pens and one of the pencils fastened to a loop on his choker as well as a coloured pen and matching pencil to use for the day.
as for weaponry, their main choice are small daggers and switchblades. they are easy to conceal in small leg sheaths and other areas that they can stash weapons such as hidden within their scarves or small satchels. they holds them in their mouth, using their tongue to flick out the switchblades, and attack with smooth, calculated jabs and slashes depending on how their move their head. they also carry a zhanmadao ( 斬馬刀 ; zhǎnmǎdāo ) on them. it is a modified version created for them by wotou which is more suited for their smaller size that allows them to use it in their mouth (as long as they have a tight grip) in spite of the sabre being originally created for two-handed use as an anti-cavalry blade. they can not use the zhanmadao for too long as a consequence of its weight though it is quite the deadly sword when in their control. cin certainly does possess more weapons, his prized guandao, though they are back in his home and carefully guarded by wotou.
since they are an avid reader, having taught themselves how to read when they were younger, they also carry a few books on them (a small mixed selection of their favourite tales and unread novels taken from their personal library). once arriving at the sanctuary, they stored their books safely in a small metal chest that they keep their belongings in when not in use and usually just carry one of their books around to read throughout the day. currently, they are reading through the looking glass, having only started reading it upon arrival.
