Huff knew that smell! It was a smell that they knew. They'd met the leader a while back, and it was confusing to them. "What note say? What note say?" The child asked eagerly.

The child didn't really know Everett, but they knew of him, and thought he was pretty cool. Their eyes were bright and cheerful as they looked at the newcomer... returnee. "Hi there! Huff remember you!" The badger cub chirped happily, their tail wiggling behind them. "Welcome back!" They added, "You are... coming back, right?" Tilting their bi-colored head to the side, the child waited for Everett to respond.

Huff wandered up to the animal on the boarder, their eyes moved from the spiffy looking black dog to the ground, before deciding to speak up, "Hi there! Huff named Huff... whatcha doing here? What's you're name?" The cheerful paladin inquired, their tail twitching behind them as they looked at the newcomer. The black and white badger cub waited patiently for the male to answer, neatly putting their front paws together, and seating themself.
