Dixi had seen the sign, immediately running over to greet his friend. "I can't believe you'd give out hugs without telling me," he gasped, mock offense on his face until he burst into a small fit of giggles, running up to tackle hug the maned wolf. If Jupiter hadn't been so much larger than him, he probably would have bowled him over. Instead the cub snuggled into the soft chest of the living planet before him, a content sigh drifting from him.

After the hug, he stepped back from Jupiter to look up at Alena Aesir, a bright smile instantly lighting his face. "Hi, Alena Aesir," he exclaimed. He looked up at the floating cat fondly. She seemed to consider him a friend. Making friends was quite easy so far! "I-you can have a hug from me.. me too, if you'd like," he proposed, confused why he was stumbling over simple words. Feeling his face flush, the cub felt a wash of grateful relief that his fur was pink.

Drawing away from his embarrassment, he turned to face Diana as she approached, throwing a kind smile in the older feline's direction.

Dixi stuck his tongue out cheekily at Leviathan's deadpan insult. He wasn't offended, and had nothing against the dark, brooding feline, so no harm was done!

At the appearance of Alena Aesir, his face broke out in a bright grin. Sure, he hadn't known the catsune very long, but she was a good friend to have around and always fun. He didn't speak, but watched as the floating princess performed mid-air acrobatics, a soft smile across his maw. At the arrival of Eden, he offered her a wider smile, padding up beside the other children to look up at Luna with a slightly mischievous look.

Dixi had never explored far from the city but decided it was time to. Wandering the same streets could only entertain the child for so long, and with no parents to restrict him, he considered himself pretty much free to roam. The territory was safe, anyway.

He had discovered the beach by following the scent of ocean air and the sound of gentle waves. When he neared, the colorful beach town was there to greet him. This place was amazing! The thought of living here was tempting, but his home was now in Solar City. It would be a lot of clutter to move from his small home, anyway.

Sighting a familiar figure ahead of him, the lion cub picked up his pace, following the serval with a content look on his face. This place was definitely nice. He'd have to come here more often.

As he reached the sandy shores of the beach, his pink paws sunk into the soft sand, and the expanse of the ocean before him simply blew him away. The pyramids of Solis were impressive, of course, but could never be so... massive. The push and pull of the tide lulled him in, and he padded up to the softly crashing waves, dipping his feet in the foamy edges.

Dixi had gathered in the growing crowd, rose pink fur making him stand out despite his short stature. The cub stood looking up at the Commander whom she respected, carnelian eyes shining. He listened attentively to the news, taking note of things such as events and ambassadorships, especially as he was in the commune guild now. The lion searched for Diana to offer the serval a smile before hearing his own name, pausing briefly before turning back to face Suga with some disbelief, wide smile stretching the corners of his mouth. "Thanks, sir!" More responsibility didn't bother the child too much; he just wanted to live up to everyone's expectations now, and positively told himself it'd be great. He then listened as the new royal children's names were listed, recognizing most. As the speeches came to a close, the lion heard Saranangel call out to him and his face flushed, but a bright grin spread across his face once more. "Thank you! And welcome to everyone new!" He believed he had met most of them, and made a friend of Jupiter already.

The lion cub ran over eagerly at the announcement of a meet and greet - something that always brought Dixi enjoyment - and came to a halt beside Diana. They flashed a grin up at the maned wolf, also assuming he was a planet sibling. Dixi had already befriended Jupiter, and he was great, so hoped the others would be fun, too. "I'm Dixi!" they announced with an enthusiastic grin. Briefly they paused to think of what else to say. "I like parties, and making friends, and sweets." They tipped their head in a different direction for each thing mentioned. "Ooh! I also really like to do art! I paint, dance, craft..." The child had her own petite house somewhere in the city absolutely filled with art supplies, canvases, materials, et cetera.

Dixi's mouth fell into a small frown at Selena's correction, guilty for having forgot the feline. He shook his head slightly and the smile returned, along with a floating catsune. Alena Aesir flew up to her sibling and he took note of Selena's words: Alena Aesir apparently liked sugar. Dixi had plenty of sweets and was usually full of it himself, which only added to his energetic, friendly nature. Selena was very... proper? To put it nicely. But the lion cub was still keen to make a friend of her, because she seemed nice too! "I used to hate hot weather, because I had very thick fur, but it might not be so bad now." Dixi's previous, birth body had thick black fur that was suffocating in the intense heat of summer, but the lion's fur was now much shorter and breezier.

Waking from her nap to see the dusk sky, Dixi realized they had woken earlier than expected. It didn't matter that much, though, since the child very rarely stuck to any kind of routine. Chaos and unpredictable life were more entertaining. Still, they were now too excited to return to sleep. The lion cub hopped down from the paint stained sofa and went to the other room to fill a small bag with sweets from their stash. Deciding to make their way now, they threw the spotty bag over their head and put on a crudely twisted wire bracelet adorned with a rose quartz crystal, gifted to them by Jupiter, as well as their usual red neckerchief.

The young feline arrived just as Sarangerel had finished setting up, flashing the Goldenblood a bright grin. Dixi had never seen films before but heard they were exciting. Seating themselves on a stripy blue pillow, he looked at the projector. A strange device they had never seen before, but assumed it had something to do with the film. "Looks great, Saran! What're we watching?"

Dixi Adalgar Albarn felt a chasm rip open between themselves and the family, and they fell through the Earth int oan empty, endless void. The child lay on their cushion, frozen stiff and forgetting to breathe as she watched the children swarm their mother. Obviously, Dixi held no hatred towards them for being fortunate to have such a wide family; they just had everything where the cub had been so unlucky to lose what little they had in the first place.

Oh, no, this wasn't good. Not here. Not with people. The lion fought to wrench themself from this void, struggling against the black, spiralling pull of destruction.

Slowly coming back to their senses, a weak smile returned to their face, not meeting their eyes that averted from the others, studying each individual pillow with feigned curiosity. Look, that one was pink! Maybe if they sat there they'd blend in and no one would see them- does anyone ever- and that one was spotty, it matched their bag! My bag. The cub held back a sigh of relief and reached into the bag to pull out a packet of gummy bears, chewing them frantically at first before slowing to a normal pace.

The child had not seen a lot of Angeldust, but knew they weren't exactly talkative. Still, Dixi padded over to the kitsune with a bright expression and chocolate peanuts in their mouth, curious about the equipment before them. They crouched down to observe the bottles closely, face probably coming too near for the other's comfort. "Hello, Ang!" The lion cub quickly straightened up to look at the silver vulpine. "What're you up to? It looks cool. Is it paint or something?" They spoke without much pause as always, lifting theirself on and off their tiptoes.

Dixi was very slow on the uptake, a lot of the time. The planets were one of these times. He referred to them as such because of their names, rather than knowing they actually were the planets. Jupiter's remark went unquestioned and the cub only laughed, again assuming it was all in the name.

At his next question, he nodded eagerly, hopping to his feet and skipping over to his craft corner: a table strewn with wires colored golden, copper, or silver. The gem gifted by Jupiter sat on this desk beside a small chest decorated with swirling patterns in colorful paints. Dixi hopped up to the stool, as the desk was low enough for the maned wolf to see from the ground, and flicked a lock off the box to reveal it full of various gems, flowers and more wire. The child dropped the rose crystal among the rest, pushing the chest to Jupiter. "Choose as many as you like," he told him, reaching to grab the pliers from the other side of the table, although the larger animal may not need them. "And choose a color of wire."
