Hidden's whiskers twitched, slightly amused by this tom. Though it was sort of awkward, she had never been one for talking to cats she didn't know, she could tolerate this one. Something in him... He gave off a good aura. She was attracted to it. "Yeah, they don't want me there, anyway." She mewed softly, looking up to meet his eyes. "Uh, so what brings you out on this wonderful night?"

"Aspenwhisker was a warrior," Lilyberry mewed to Dawnpaw with a slight nod. "In fact, she's only been medicine cat apprentice for a very short time..." Where was Darksky, anyway?

Darksky sighed softly, getting up and starting to wander back to camp.

"Maybe it just wasn't right for her. Every cat has their own path in life. She wanted to test the life of a medicine cat, it seems," Lilyberry shrugged. It wasn't any of her business, but she was honestly curious about it as well. "Now - on to our current topic. We have a fight on our hands. Imagine I'm Tigerstar. Give me all you got."

Darksky got back to camp, and glanced around to see it mostly empty. What was going on here?

Lilyberry adjusted her body in to a defensive battle stance, keeping a close eye on the apprentice. Her claws remained sheathed, but she was ready to fight. She knew she couldn't even consider going easy on Dawnpaw right now. Enemy cats weren't really the sort to go easily.

"We're not out to kill, silly," Callie purred, rolling her eyes. Her long whiskers twitched in amusement. "Mae had a wonderful idea, but I don't know to explain it... How open are you to the idea of religion?" The she-cat questioned, hoping he would give a positive answer.

"You won't be able to just convert a cat with a few words, Callie. Just ask if he'll join us and consider looking at things our way for a bit." Mae mewed to her sister quietly. She might as well of spoke to Blaze herself, but she found it better to critisize her sister.

"Well... Now, I guess," Callie mewed to him. Then she turned to her sister. "See, I was doing it right. Stop thinking I'm about to do everything wrong." There was a tiny hint of venom in her voice towards the end. She wasn't rude, no, but Mae had a habit of getting on her nerves.

"Oh well. Either way, Callie, we've started off on the right foot," Mae purred softly, glancing at Blaze with a content look on her face. She padded up to him, pressed her nose to his cheek, and backed away from him.

"Well, it's something we were taught as young ones. It's been carried down maternally for generations, but now... We're sort of the last. We don't want to give up on our mother's belief, and we don't want to bear like, 600 kits each to make sure that it isn't forgotten." Callie spoke now, batting her sister's ears with her tail playfully. Lighten up.

"I'm not having kits in general, Cal, so it would be just you going for 1200 of them," Mae retorted, rolling her eyes, and then she turned back to Blaze. She looked him over once more - he looked healthy, like he could be a strong cat. She could only let good cats in to their founding population.

"Yeah, I guess I can have kits for you. Not." Callie responded, and then got back to what was in front of her. "In a run down, it's mostly pacifistic. Delhi, that's our Goddess's name, she's beautiful. She looks like a cheetah -have you ever heard of them?-, and she loves all of us."

"Yeah. Treat others equally, share your prey, pray to the stars, help those weaker than you," Mae interrupted, trying to take the spotlight from her sister. "Imagine this - your kin, your loved ones, even thought passed, still at your side. Guiding you, leading you, supporting you. Though the Delhi resides in the stars, the spirits remain here."

She imagined it as she said it, as did Callie. Their mother by their sides, their loved ones, their brother..

"I didn't think you would, we've never met another cat who has," Callie said, purring softly as Blaze touched his nose to her cheek. Maybe it was the fact that he called her pretty, or maybe it was that she'd found someone, they'd found someone willing to give what they said a whirl. "Just wait, though. Give her a chance, and you'll be rewarded." Shed been rewarded nearly all of her life- her mother had taught her well, died so she could live, but would always be loved, she had her sister, she had everything she really wanted.

"Thank you," Mae mewed with a smile on her face. Her voice was fading interest as time passed on, and her mind was elsewhere. Mom, we're doing it. We're going to make sure what you taught us doesn't go to waste. I promised you I would. In that moment, there was a slight chill in the air, but all she felt was warmth. Things would go right, she could tell. "You really have no idea what it means to us," she continued. Though were voice didn't show any compassion, she was beyond happy in her head.

Mae lived to please mommy. Callie lived to please herself.

Really, that was about their biggest difference.
