Buckingham had been away from camp for a few hours, hidden in the depths of the Thunderland's territory. The maine coon knew he wanted to capture someone, to get another gladiator for their ring, but he was not sure who he wanted to grab. Children were already out of the picture, so he just had to watch the Thunderlanders as he hid in a well covered tree- thankfully no one saw him climb up it and he covered his Sanguine Ruins scent with the Thunderlands before he entered. He had watched the camp from the shadows, scanning every Thunderlannder that padded by, until his blue optic gaze fell upon Feliks. Feliks wasn't someone that Buckingham had been entirely familiar with. He heard about the guy from npc gossip and Jamie, how the Thunderlands Commander has been exiled from several clans and committed countless crimes. He was surprised that such a villainous, notorious individual was allowed to live within the Thunderlands, as to Bucky they seemed like a group that wouldn't let that stand. Perhaps he was wrong.

Buckingham had waited a few hours before he decided to strike. He couldn't attack Feliks in the middle of the day, the camp was full of them and he would be seen. He'd probably get outnumbered, jumped, and even maybe be made a prisoner himself. He didn't want that, no way. Plus, he didn't want to attack at that very moment since he had no clue how strong Feliks was. He decided it would be best to watch him for a few hours in secrecy, learn about his future opponent so he can have an advantage. As after all, an advantage would be good for the assassin, considering he's only a maine coon. Feliks is a Eurasian Wolf, surely if Bucky wasn't as skilled as he is, he wouldn't have a chance.

Eventually night fell, and a few short hours after the group went with it. Everyone was asleep, from what the assassin could tell. The camp was no longer alive with life like it had been hours ago. He could see the moon and the stars out in the sky, and could hear an owl hooting in the distance. This was the perfect time to strike. Bucky had silently dropped to the ground, and then with his super senses, follow Feliks scent to where the wolf was slumbering. Not a single sound was made by Bucky's paws, the tom had truly mastered the arts of stealth- thanks to his brainwashing by his former handler. It has come good use to him, even if it wasn't for a good reason at the start.

The fight had been short, and rather quick. Bucky had slipped in unnoticed, and striked as Feliks dreamt. Bucky had the upper paw, he used his super strength to keep them down, and then backhanded the guy before anyone could notice what was going on. Shortly after, he managed to drag Feliks out of camp, and then territory.

The maine coon came padding into the Sanguine Ruins camp, the sun starting to rise in the east. Somehow Feliks managed to stay unconscious the entire trip, which was good for Bucky and not good for Feliks. Bucky was able to bring him all the way over without any problems- except for Feliks weight, as it was hard to drag a creature larger than himself. Bucky had to use super strength a lot to keep going.

If his clanmates aren't awake yet, or are just starting to wake, then this certainly will do the job. The assassin released Felik's scruff from his jaws, before attempting to smack Feliks awake with his metal paw. "Well, well well- look who it is. Feliks." That would probably grab his clanmate's attentions too, certainly Barbara. "I feel like you'd be a great gladiator for our Gladiator Ring."

The maine coon was the next one to pad in, silently entering after Doctor Horrible. The male's blue optic gaze slowly landed on Barbara as she began her announcements, sitting himself on the ground as he gave her his full attention. It began with the regular announcements, like invites and what not. But what caught his attention this time was when his name was mentioned for a second time. He looked over at the queen, ears pricking up as he was given the title. Twisted, huh? "Thank you Barbara," He said with a nod of his head, tail wrapping around his front paws. And then after that, promotions were handed out. Jacob and Primal to second tier, which they certainly both deserved. But the next one, it was one that caught him by surprise. Hypokrisis to overseer.

He wasn't surprised because he thought Hypokrisis didn't deserve the rank, oh no. He was surprised that an overseer was finally chosen, it had been a long time since they had one. And he thought Hypokrisis was the perfect choice. Bucky might have had some small hopes for the position, but he knew deep down that Hypokrisis was destined for the position. His friend has gone through so much, he has proven himself countless times of his devot loyalty- especially with his recent self sacrifice. He couldn't feel more happy for Hypo, he will be a great Overseer, as well as future leader. "Congratulations Hypo, you deserved it," The assassin meowed, with a dip of his head.

Buckingham didn't exactly believe in a god- his biological parents tried to get him into StarClan when he was a kit, but that didn't work out. He guesses he knows why it didn't work out now, he accidentally killed them before they could try more. Their deaths was probably another reason why he doesn't believe in anything- he had been too focused on mourning their death, he didn't even come to think about having a religion. And after he got over their passing, he still hasn't opened up to the idea. Sanguine Ruins used to have a religion- that no one believed, even after the 'red god' came with a plague, zombies, and more. It ended up getting abandoned after that, which was good in Buckingham's eyes. Even though he doesn't believe in a god or a religion, he knows demons do exist.

Demons are anywhere you step, there is nothing you can do to avoid them. The world can't be perfect, and they make up parts of the evil in the world. They can be real demons, like Dante, and some can be like demons- Ximen for example. Bucky pretty much saw Ximen was a demon, as who would do the unthinkable of brainwashing someone, even if they are the enemy? That guy, he did it to Bucky, and he was sure if Ximen wasn't dead somewhere, they'd love to do it again.

The maine coon was the first one to pad in, his gaze landing onto Rambeau- who pretty much towered over Bucky. This was probably the one disadvantage of being a domestic feline, mostly everyone is far larger than Bucky. He can look pretty tiny, but he's quite mighty. "Hello Rambeau- you and your friend can stay here. Welcome to the Sanguine Ruins," The assassin meowed, with a swish of his tail. He hasn't seen another person nearby, he wondered how far off Rambeau's colleague is. "I'm Buckingham Barnes by the way, feel free to call me Bucky."

hey there guys!! Sorry for my horrible activity this past weekend XD
I spent my snow day on Friday writing an outline to an essay(that is basically the body paragraphs,, xD ) and then on Saturday after the dog shelter i was mentally drained and yesterday i was still pretty tired after the puppies xD

I promise to get my activity back up eep

Without a doubt, the recent situations- Jiji's and Agnes- were quite a lot to handle. He first thought of Jiji, he still felt completely shocked she would stick her paws into a hot, burning flame. And then there was her reason- she just wanted to fix her paws. Her paws might be different, considering they're covered in permafrost, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Buckingham has never thought once that Jiji's paws were bad, they are rather unique compared to others. The other thing that is on his mind is Agnes. A few days ago, he overheard her whimpering in her sleep during the night, and the next day she was telling him how she was having trouble seeing. Unfortunately, Buckingham is no medic- he won't be able to diagnose what's wrong with his child, even though he so badly wishes he knew. Whatever she was going through must be scary, especially for a young kitten like herself.

The male had been padding through the territory all by himself, ears pinned back to his cranium. Thoughts were running wild in his head- thoughts about Jiji, Agnes, Lena, and Nadine, how Jiji is recovering from her burn, how Agnes is feeling. There were no thoughts in there concerning about himself. The maine coon honestly didn't think he was worth being worried about, at least in his mind. Others probably worry about him, but he doesn't think he's worth it. He didn't think he was worth it after the discoveries he made about his parents. Not only is he an assassin, but he (accidentally) murdered his parents too. It was hard to handle, and by telling no one about it, he tends to beat himself up over it.

Certainly without a doubt, Buckingham would never say that to Agnes or any of his children. Buckingham loves all of them dearly, and is proud that they carry his last name, as well as Jamie's. Buckingham couldn't be any prouder, they are all kind, lovable kittens with big hearts and great personalities. They have been raised well so far, considering one of their parents is a pyromaniac and the other is an assassin.

Thanks to his super senses, the maine coon almost instantly heard Agnes sniffling in another part of the territory. It was a little more quiet, but he could still hear it. Without a thought running through his mind, his paws began to move, in the direction of Agnes quiet, sniffling voice. As he got nearer, he could hear her words too. "Daddy... Lena... Nadine... Jiji... Papa." His paws began to quicken it's pace, but still quiet as ever. "Why can't I be good enough?"

And that's just when the maine coon padded in, to see Agnes quietly crying on the ground. He could see the little mess behind her, it seemed like she tripped over a root, and was rather close to a cactus. She was rather lucky she didn't run into it. Though, why was she out here? He didn't come to think it was about flowers.

"Agnes, you are more than just good enough," The assassin decided to speak up, hoping to grab the attention of his daughter, as he slowly padded over to her. He sat himself down beside her, looking down at her with concerning blue eyes. Is her eyesight bothering her? Or is there something else? Can he do anything to help ease her worries? "What's bothering you Agnes? You can tell me anything, you know."

Not shortly after Jiji came in her father, Buckingham Barnes. The tom had been padding nearby, and with his super senses, picked up Raygun's scent. When he picked up the scent, he could tell they were a canine, but he didn't expect them to be this small. Usually when he has met canines, they were always towering over him- except this has been the one case where he was the one towering over them. He knows that not every breed of dog has tall heights, as it has been proven by Raygun's short, tiny legs, he just hasn't seen a small dog before. His ear flicked towards his daughter as she made her own comment after Raygun's, his gaze locking on the canine as they touched one skeleton that is apart of the wall.

Clearly seeing that Jiji didn't speak up again, but probably grabbed this man's attention, the assassin decided to speak up. "Who are you and why are you on Sanguine Ruins territory?" He questioned with a flick of his tail, feeling the rough sand between his paws as he waited for an answer.

The maine coon was the next one to pad in, shortly entering after Aslanna. Bucky padded past his clanmates that gathered, heading over to Barbara with paws that barely made a sound of the earth. He stopped beside's Hypokrisis, glancing over at his friend for a moment. Buckingham couldn't express his sense of proudness for Hypokrisis, he has came from so far. Buckingham remembered the day back when he was that asset, when Ximen acted like a complete ass. His handler belittled Hypokrisis, drunkenly going around to allies and telling them how Hypokrisis was in love in the enemy. That might have been true, but from Bucky's knowledge, that relationship didn't last. And Hypokrisis didn't stay demoted forever, he proved himself to be a loyal Ruiner to the point where he was not only re-promoted to Warlord, but then promoted to Overseer. Hypokrisis was best fit for the position, even if there was a small part inside of him that wanted the position. Hypokrisis has proven himself that he is worthy of the position, especially recently with that self sacrifice and coming back from the dead. So when the promotion came around, he felt no jealousy. No anger on why Hypokrisis was chosen over him. Instead, he was happy and proud for his friend, knowing he deserved it entirely.

Now about him being sworn in as a Warlord, it felt a little odd- considering how long he has been a Warlord after all. But he understood this was a new tradition, a tradition that will be very important for their group. And he was sure if Barbara came up with this months ago, he would have been sworn in then, so it was just a little late, he supposed. He looked over at Barbara, ready to cut open his right paw with the knife.

Buckingham had been padding through the territory, feeling the sun's hot rays against his back. He hasn't been out here for too long yet, but he's already starting to feel tired out. Maybe the heat was finally getting to him after all of these months of patrolling in the same, harsh climate. It wasn't that easy with his long fur coat, he was definitely more suit for a colder climate- like snow. But yet, here he is still, trudging his way through so he can finish up one duty of the day. The maine coon was the next one to pad in, London's scent grabbing his attention. He saw a BlizzardClanner at the border recently, a member named Tavi he believed. They were searching for their sibling, which unfortunately he never heard of before. Their short visit made him also wonder when the last time London visited was, as he hadn't seen her recently. And now, he no longer had to wonder when that familiar scent entered his nostrils.

"Hello London, it's nice to see you again," The assassin meowed with a swish of his tail, glancing over at the BlizzardClanner. He was glad to hear that things were going well- he heard about their war with the Cartel when Aleksei had them all meet about some apparent rumors. Man, that had been a mess- everyone was a little at fault when it came to that. So it was good to hear there hasn't been a lot of attacks from the Cartel lately. In all honesty, Buckingham hasn't been a fan of the Cartel- Sanguine Ruins haven't been enemies with them, and the Cartel even asked for an alliance, or an 'association' as they call it. Thankfully, Barbara decided to decline their offer, it was probably for the best. "Things have been going well here; our war with SunClan has finally come to a close." He didn't mention the fact that Hypokrisis died to end the war, but thankfully Hypokrisis wasn't done with life entirely then and came back later. It would have been truly devastating if they lost him for good.
