Emberstar | Leader | ♀ | Interacting w/: Scorchclaw

A purr of laughter flowed from the young leader's throat. She buffed out her tortoiseshell coat- certainly not as long as thick as his- though, in her defense, it was dense enough. "That's not my fault, either, Scorchclaw," Emberstar mused amusedly. "I'll have to pick a fight with my parents for not having longer fur." To his earlier concerns, however, a more even tone came into her voice, as she answered him, "The kits are well. Juniper, the youngest, is situating and already making a friend I believe, and her brothers have just gone out to the fresh-kill pile to get themselves something to eat." She paused for a moment, glancing distantly at the pile where she saw the glimmer of ginger and flash of grey that made up the silhouettes of the brothers, thanking Deerheart silently in the mind for his generosity of helping the kits. She then returned her warm amber eyes to Scorchclaw, a light of curiosity igniting in their depths. "What things were you going to ask me?"

Hollowpaw | Apprentice | ♂ | Interacting w/: Juniper

Hollowpaw caught the glimpse of amusement that sparked in the she-kit's blue eyes, like little suns in each their own sky. He couldn't deny the leap in his chest at the success of making her feel something positive, other than the discomfort she had been feeling before. He nodded at her question. "Yep. Once when we are kits and becoming apprentices, and once more when apprentices becoming warriors. Unless you go on to become leader- then you change your name again, like Emberstar. Her name didn't always end like that." He paused to take a bite out of the mole as she went on, eagerly saying when she had finished, "well, maybe you will, when you join the Clan." He paused, realizing he had jumped to a conclusion that was still very unknown, and looked down at his paws with a small, sheepish smile. "If you join the Clan, that is." He was silent for a moment, studying the remains of their meal, and realizing that it was virtually almost finished- two small bites left of it, or perhaps a bigger one. Looking back up at her, Hollowpaw nudged the rest towards Juniper, dipping his head to gesture she could have the rest, as he was sure she was much hungrier than he was. He added, however, as he held her pale blue gaze, "Do you think you would want to join the Clan?"

Woolfang | Warrior | ♂ | Interacting w/: Moonsoul, Mousepaw

Woolfang toothily grinned, an almost wolfish aspect to it. "That's right, but since you're oh-so-capable, you can handle both, no?"

The warrior's ears then perked up at the soft voice of another cat. He whipped around, the cream curls of his pelt bouncing slightly to his sharp movements, as his azure gaze came to rest on the dappled frame of Moonsoul. His face softened, the alarm fading as he recognized his Clan-mate. "Of course," he said, listening attentively as she spoke. He offered a friendly smile, noting the hesitation in her tone. Although other cats might be annoyed at being interrupted during a training session with their apprentice, Woolfang was not the type to grow upset over minuscule things. Although the tom was cynical, he wasn't an outward fox-heart. "It's not an intrusion, no worries. We hadn't gotten anything started quite yet, so you're just on time. What's up?"

I'm looking forward to seeing how GorgeClan and CreekClan interact as time goes on

Woolfang | Warrior | ♂ | Interacting w/: Moonsoul, Mousepaw

The tomcat could tell the she-cat was suppressing a wealth of energy beneath her sandy-colored pelt. Yet, the offering of prey was too intriguing for him to dwindle too long on such a fact. his blue ears pricked up interestedly, before he gave a grateful nod of his head. "It's not wrong at all," he assured. "Thank you for telling us. I'm sure it would be a challenge for Mousepaw- though, she might think otherwise." He glanced at the small pale tabby she-cat, waving his tail in anticipation. "Well? Get on with it. Moonsoul was kind enough to give you a direction, but I want to see how well you can track that blue jay down. Don't let me see you hunting a mouse instead just because it might be easier!" Though the curly-furred warrior's tone was rather curt to his apprentice, there was still an underlying hint of tease in the bossy edge in his voice that demonstrated to the young she-cat that he was mostly kidding when it came to his sudden commandeering attitude.

And I see, but like I and Copperstorm said, the name itself isn't realistic in terms of cats, loner or clan cat ^^" However, I see that you changed his suffix and I really appreciate the understanding. If it isn't too much to ask though, I'd be grateful if you could change his prefix as well!

The cream-and-blue tomcat let out a chuckle of thanks. "I'm glad someone does," he mused, flashing a quick matter-of-fact glance at Mousepaw. He dipped his head to her in farewell, adding with a slight pause between his statements in regards to her last words, "Same to you- and I hope you can put it out!" Though the words were a bit harsh, it wasn't unlike the tomcat to make such a wry remark, but it was also well-known he had no malicious intention behind his words.

The Maned Wolf thank you!! if I haven't already, he's accepted c: Feel free to hop onto the plot/chat and role-play threads!

Some ideas: Flint, Thistle, Bone, Oleander (a poisonous plant), Castor (another deadly plant), Hemlock (another another deadly plant)

Emberstar, for a moment, was surprised by the warrior's invitation. She was silent, eyeing him up and down, before dipping her head in agreement. "That sounds like a good idea," she meowed. "I could use some time out, and the Clan could use some extra food."

Hollowpaw | Apprentice | ♂ | Interacting w/: Juniper

Hollowpaw gave her a sympathetic glance. The pause in her voice had seemed a bit of-the-moment, as though she had to stop herself from continuing, from saying something, but the apprentice pushed the rising thought aside. There was probably a lot going on inside the she-kit's mind, after everything that had happened to her before this moment. She was still so young- Hollowpaw couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity. Although he had been abandoned as well, he had been quickly found by the Clan, and he couldn't remember much of being alone beside the cold and the shape pangs of hunger. He smiled softly. "I'm sure he'll warm up to it. Especially if he sees you and Willow doing so." He paused for a moment, thinking, before adding on, "We would be apprentices together."

Woolfang blinked silently at the younger she-cat, not speaking initially, before his chest rumbled with a thunderous laughter that likely would have scared off any other bird in the area. His body shuddered as the guffaws rolling out of him, nearly knocking the curly-furred warrior off his paws. After he stood there, laughing away to himself, for some time, Woolfang eventually collected himself, words still flowing out atop chuckles as he mewed, "You're the one not saying a thing, feather-mouth."

I'm gonna limit the apprentices from here on out though, bc we're gonna be losing some warriors due to the activity check, and therefore a couple mentors. I'm gonna be updating the ranks list later today as I have some errands to run right now, and due to some characters having to be removed, some apprentices will have new mentors/possibly be in need of some.

Okay! All the ranks are updated- luckily, we ended up with enough warriors to mentor the apprentices and even some to spare!
And guys- I mentioned this briefly on the sign up thread, but would any of you want/be interested in a time skip?
I would say to have it after the trio juniper ember and willow become apprentices

Not only would it help initiate the plot (because I understand things are kinda slow now), but it would also help buff out the warriors ranks to get a couple apprentices into warrior-hood
It wouldn't be much- just a couple moons- and we could start the role-play back with all the older apprentices becoming warriors at their ceremony? Then slide into the rogue plot, perhaps a gathering with CreekClan, or even a scuffle with the rogues?
It won't be happening for at least a week I'd say (maybe sooner but we'll see), so don't worry about rushing anything- we can work it out as a group to see what works for everybody ^^

And speaking of the rogues, I plan on starting the group tonight, and finishing up tomorrow. We'll see how homework treats me tonight tho!
