Athenas eyes flew open, startled, at the sound of a voice. Was she alright? Probably not, but she wasn't about to say so, her ivory head snapped in the direction of the voice and immediately she recognized the Dingo before her as Prescott, someone who had joined a little while back the water was still running but Athena stepped out of the way of the current "what? Oh, yea, I'm fine, it's just a scratch" she stammered, hoping he wouldn't see through her obvious fib. "Did you want to uh, use the shower? Sorry if I was taking it up" desperately the child tried to change the subject as she gazed at him with one eye as blue as the ocean and the other as brown as the earth as she waited in anticipation for the canines response, muscles tense and eyes unblinking. Her fur was soaked and the sound of the shower still ran in the background but still she didn't speak, Athenas towel was on the bench behind Prescott but she didn't want to move in fear her wound would open back up and he would see how deep it really was, but her eyes kept flickering from his face to the soft pink towel behind him.

Pack, noun, a group of wild animals that lived and hunted together. That is what the exiles were, they were a pack, but to Athena the pack meant so much more than that simple definition and anyone who wanted to join the pack, make the blood lines stronger, was welcome to do just that if they so wished. The head of espionage watched the two, heterochromatic eyes locked on the lioness, a stranger, trying to determine her intentions when Ryan approached her. She said she was here to join and the conversation between the two seemed pleasant enough and so the child would be the next to reveal herself, stepped out of her hiding spot between the trees and letting the sun hit her ivory fur, causing it to glow softly as she revealed herself to the pair. "My name's Athena, head of espionage here, welcome to the exiles" she said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes "I could show you around if you'd like or maybe even answer any questions you may have" she offered in an attempt to be polite to the newcomer.

Alright (adj.) . Satisfactory but not especially good, acceptable. If that was the definition of alright then no, Athena would not say she was. Her behavior as of lately was most definitely not acceptable, she had killed two now, ripped out the heart of one. The second death had been justified but it still hung heavy in her mind, dragging down her paws and her soul into a dark place that she felt it'd be difficult to claw her way out of.

Athena suddenly realized she had been quiet for too long, spacing out as she lost herself in her own thoughts. Oh god, he was going to think she was daft wasn't he? She shook herself out of it, returning back to reality as she turned to shut the water off before reaching out for the towel, grateful he had retrieved it for her and wrapping it around her soaking wet fur "I guess I'm not" she said with a gentle but sad laugh and shaking her head softly "Can I ask you something?" She asked, turning her heterochromatic gaze back to the dingo as she began to dry off with the towel, static causing the recently fluffed fur to stick to the towel momentarily before moving on to the next spot, leaving her white fur as soft as silk in its wake.

It was that time again, time for another menial task that would distract Athena for a day before her thoughts would begin to wander again, but still, she enjoyed doing them and the last task had been more than enjoyable. "I will also take one" the child spoke up, coming to stand next to Ferdinand. It was proabably a comedical sight, seeing the kitten standing next to a lion.

Promotions, something that Athena enjoyed hearing, and although she didn't get a promotion this time around, she did lift her head slightly when her name had been mentioned, a light smile on her jaws. The espionage team was going to do great, she knew that much and she shuffled her feet in anticipation, it was difficult to keep herself from calling the first meeting already, to start training the future spies of the exiles just like her father had wanted to do. It was exciting to be able to follow in his footsteps. "Congrats to those who got promoted" she said in what she hoped to be an encouraging voice "and congrats to the rest of you for keeping our activity up"
