nayomi really digs pink stuff & glitter. in human au, she has a tumblr dedicated to those types of aesthetics, along with a tumblr about emotions and trying(to no avail) to manage her anger

she has seven gold ear piercings, three on the left and four on the right and all of them are hoops. she nearly cried while getting them, up until the fifth

back in the gang, there was a loner who would tag along sometimes and was deaf. for the heck of it, nayomi learned ASL and is now fluent

nayomi: i wouldn't have logged on if i knew there would be love confessions

Nayomi turned to Luca, lip pulled back in a small snarl. Now, she didn't know who exactly he was, and she didn't really know how she felt about him, but she would never let anyone speak to her like that. Even the old Nayomi would've said something in her own defense(probably not as angrily or intensely, but she would've). Sure, the tigress was being rude, but she had pride to carry and a faulty emotional-defense mechanism. Her normally sharp yellow eyes had a bit of a red tint to them as they stared coldly at Luca. "Yeah, it's Nayomi. And if you tell me to shut up so rudely again, I'll be carving that into your corpse," she said lowly. It wasn't a completely empty threat, she would fight him, but she wouldn't kill him.

Quickly, she looked back down at the water, not feeling comfortable looking at anyone who'd gathered. She always seemed to screw things up without even meaning to, she just despised being seen as weak. "How are things around here, anyways? I haven't exactly been around," she inquired, trying to mask her true curiosity with a tone of boredom.

    //aaaaaAAA

that would be great! can you make it? also if it gets too heated we could open the thread for others to come by and defuse it?

Nayomi had been absent for such a long time, it was only fair she would have to get to work. Everyone else was doing it, and it seemed it was Lua giving them out. Maybe she would give the tigress an easy one? Whatever the case, she sauntered into the scene, standing as far away from the rest as respectably possible. "I guess I'll take one." Nayomi shrugged, her ear rings clinging lightly.

You seem pretty swamped, but if you ever get around to Nayomi she's literally just a tigress, the only things different is that she's red instead of orange, has three golden rings on her left ear and four on her right, and her eyes are gold

I know you said no written refs but I don't have a ref and she's just a tiger

Nayomi had finally left the trees where she would waste away her days, watching the border, thinking about who she used to be and crying most nights. She had stopped that, telling herself to stop being so pathetic and weak and actually do something with herself. Yet here she was, wasting her time away thinking about who she used to be but hey, at least she was walking these days. She really needed to maintain her physical strength or she would be no good in battle, and she wasn't just all back no bite. The tigress was so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't notice she was slowly about to be ran into.

She jutted back, her large form stepping backwards and her sharp yellow eyes slightly glossing over with red. Due to her vulnerable state of thinking, she was scattering to place together her thoughts and had even less control of her lashing out than usual. Practically not even hearing Calina's apology, she growled. "Watch where you're going, you misshapen tree," she scoffed, referring to the hell-hounds tall height. She looked up at her daringly, not caring about the size advantage. She never really thought things through.

Finally, something for Nayomi to do. Usually she wandered around, glaring at people as they walked past and getting in the occasional huff with a stranger. It would be nice to sit down, relax, and let herself just watch a movie, nothing more to it. She could grab a beer and some popcorn, sit in the back and let herself laugh or cry, depending on the movie. Of course, she had to get past the whole interacting with people, but that was only a small bump in the road, she told herself.

Walking up, the woman nodded at those who had already gathered, sauntering past them to grab a beer. She paused for second, knowing it would be rude and weird not to pop into the conversation, even if only for a second, and decided to quickly butt in. Shrugging her shoulders, the tigress leaned towards the group. "Being honest, I don't care what we watch," she admitted. After making her official contribution, she continued to make her way to the beverages.

Nayomi had been one of the first people at the scene, watching the few people who had gathered talk about this clanmate. Maybe because she had spent the last two months hidden away in the tree tops, not speaking to anybody, or maybe she was just forgetful, but she had no idea who Ramsay was. With furrowed brows, the tigress sauntered up to the small group. "Who's Ramsay?" she iquired. It seemed everyone knew who this mystery man was except Nayomi. When the hyena finally popped in, Nayomi took one look at him and concluded that he was either really sick, had been sleeping for the last hundred years or had fallen from a tree. The tigress said nothing, though, as it seemed Dumah was the one looking for him.

hey! i have a new character here, a gem oc from steven universe if anyone's seen it. i've been on and off this website since 2014! if anyone wants to plot with cornelian, go right ahead, i'm making some REAL tags and a plot thread soon, but her basics are down below!

anyways, hi! how are you guys doing?

idk why im getting strong human library au from this dude and cornelian?

please please pLEASE teach this babe about humans and earth and organic life. she's an alien and got to earth a few weeks/months ago and she has nO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON

    track

maybe when cornelian joins, he won'r shut up about how strange she is. like, 'you're so big' 'why do you have rocks on you' 'why do you have four eyes' 'are you REALLY from space'. then later she can just sit him down and answer all his questions

i'm guessing, knowing mike, he'd freak out and wanna know more when cornelian tells him she's from an entirely different planet, so maybe she could tell him about outer space and he can tell her about earth and they could be friends.

For those of you who don't wanna read everything: Backstory is in italics while the joining is normal

For those who don't know. Fusion is when two gems, a fictional alien species, combine together to make one, more powerful gem. Most fusions are temporary and are used to get something done. Some fusions, such as Cornelian, are full-time and mean that the two people involved love each other enough to become one being with them.

Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC was made in the middle of the gem war due to high demand for commanders to control all the quartz soldiers being pumped out. She, and the many others just like her, served under White Diamond. While it was an honor, the gem never truly saw her diamond, only paintings and other depictions. This was because, to put it simply, there were so many of her! Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC was completely replaceable, and the lustrous, luminous diamonds had no time for common, replaceable gems. So, day to day, year to year, Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC did her job as best as she could without expecting anything great. Every day she went on organizing soldiers, going over plans and strategies and then sending them off. Sometimes, if the attack was important, she would go with the soldiers to the battle field. When the war had been lost and was finally over, the diamonds found themselves with too many gems and began to put them to work any way they could. Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC would still be a commander, but this time over a ship and a team of rubies.

And a Tiger Eye. Specifically, Tiger Eye Facet 5W0S Cut 5BD.

She was a navigator gem, flying the ships and scouting different planets to see if they would be of any used to Homeworld, spending thousands of years at a time cooped up in one ship. These gems were rare, but simply because they weren't needed very often and not because of social status. Tiger Eye Facet 5W0S Cut 5BD had been around long before the war, but during the war was used to comb the galaxy for traitors, spies, and places to plant new gems in kindergardens. The job had calmed down and gotten boring after the war ended, and Tiger Eye Facet 5W0S Cut 5BD and Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC spent the years away, just talking and laughing. The rubies would play games with each other and sometimes sing, and for hundreds of years, nothing happened.

Until, one day, when nobody was paying attention, a foreign object crashed into the ship. In a rush to redirect the ship and check to see if everything was alright, one of the rubies pressed a button that opened the exit to the ship. The vacuum of space sent the rubies flying out, and Red Agate Facet 5E3M Cut 9LC would've followed suit, had Tiger Eye Facet 5W0S Cut 5BD not grabbed her to save her. In the adrenaline of the moment the the pure connection the two felt in that very moment, the two fused to form Cornelian. There was no time to get flustered and realize what happened. Using their newfound strength, Cornelian was able to get to the control panel and close the doors.

Bashful and embarrassed, the two unfused and began trying to contact Homeworld to report the incident, flustered and pretending nothing happened. Except, it wasn't working. The two realized half of the ship's controls weren't working and all communication was cut off. Both gems agreed that they would stop on the nearest planet to fix the ship and get back to Homeworld as soon as possible, and that nearest planet happened to be Earth. The two got off and looked around in shock at the most unfamiliar scene they'd ever come across. Earth was the opposite of Homework, it was filled with organic life. Tiger Eye started to wonder and Red Agate followed suit, not wanting to be left behind. In the back of their heads, they both knew they weren't coming back for the ship.

The two gems had been wondering for about three weeks. They both don't recall how, or when, it happened, but they were no longer Agate and Tiger. They were strong, tall, two gem, orange, four-eyed Cornelian. Perhaps they were walking with their tails intertwined, laughing at a joke when it happened. Or maybe Tiger tripped and Agate caught her, and then they just... fused. But, however it happened, whenever it happened, neither had tried to unfuse and it was an unspoken rule that the fusion wasn't friendly, but romantic. Cornelian felt like she'd been alive for years.

Cornelian had existed from about three days when she stumbled across the scene of floating islands. She smiled to herself, amazed at how marvelous and unique the scene was and how marvelous and unique Earth itself could be, if it wanted to. She understood why the diamonds would want a planet like this in their possession. Yet, despite the gem's wonder, there was a force in her, slight fear, that wouldn't let her get closer to the sight, despite an urge to explore. With a small sigh, she sat down, four kind eyes drinking in the scene in front of her from a slight distance.

nope! not at all, i’ll get to it!
